Gotta be tasteful. I would rather not have seen Dante's hairy ass, but it didn't taint the entire game like Dr. Manhattan's glowing dick did in the Watchmen movie. (Seriously, it got more screen time than the Comedian, I think!)
Male nudity would bother me. Im talking full nudity, penis and all....actually just mostly the penis. If it was a naked guy with the naughty bits covered up like in Saints Row 3, it would not bother me as much. Ditto for a guy in little clothing, at least in small doses. I dont think i could handle an entire game like that.
At least in games. TV and movies is entirely different, I will recoil at the sight of a naked man, even if it just the ass. Also why I hate men's locker rooms as there is always one guy, usually an elderly man, who walks around butt naked all the time.
That said, i find both types of nudity distracting in video games, i do not know why.

I'm totally fine with dicks tits and clits in my video games. As with all things its all context sensitive, I do get a little tired of it when publishers and developers use it as a selling point. Tells them what they think of me. "Here's your entertainment you dumb fuck, full of tits and ass just like you like it." But I dont see anything wrong with a little titillation and certainly there are lots of serious and meaningful stories that can only be told by addressing sexuality head on.
Though I will say this, I have not seen a single sex scene in a video game that hasn't come off as stilted, stiff and awkward. (I'm looking at you Mass Effect.)

And that is the brunt of it. It not only the industry side of videogames that need to mature when it comes to things like nudity, its the gamer side as well. Me, as a male gamer, Im not gonna be to bothered by having nude males in a game personally, as long as, just like with nude female models in games, its handled well and not simply there to be there.Suki_ said:

A good example of this would be Bayonetta. The whole nudity deal made no sense to me, but it didn't really bother me since it was a female character (I never actually played more than the demo), but if it was a male character in her place It would DEFINITELY put me off of the game.

In vanilla Fallout 3 and New Vegas you can dismember people with a grenade, in Skyrim you can routinely impale or decapitate people, both games allow you to set people on fire: yet the nude mods for those games are considered "adult content".
So yeah, if someone can't handle the idea that they might see Geralt of Rivia's penis, maybe they should only play games rated E.

Treat it the same way as films would. Arrange camera angles to censor, fade to blacks, that sort of thing. But for the love of god, don't make it look terrible!SidheKnight said:
Dark Souls had an interesting example with Quelaag, with her Censor Hair (TM). She was naked, but you didn't see anything, and her wearing clothes would have raised more questions. If the Censor Hair (TM) was gone, I wouldn't see a problem with it, but the fact that it was there made me more comfortable to play that game when younger siblings were around.

In the games I play, there's no point to nudity.
If Yeesha is delivering an important speech about the fate of the Bahro, having her brood in the nude wouldn't add anything, it would take away the solemnity.
If Faith is busy bullet-dodging and leaping from building to building, the last thing she needs to take off her sports bra.
If my citizens are gathering for a festival in Pharaoh, the dancers are wearing fancy dress, it would be less interesting to watch if they didn't.
In "The Binding Of Isaac", they don't ahm um ahem... hrmf... uhh... right. Never mind.

As long as the character poses the nudity in a nonchalant manner, I'm all for it.
You know what would actually be clever? Not showing the naked body at all. Instead, imply the nudity by portraying the faces of the eye witnesses, only to then let the streaker address the reaction.
