I hate pot, I've seen what it can do to people, turning them into paranoid manic depressives as happened to my dad. although he was better on pot because now he has a bad temper.

Drug abuse =/= drug use. I've seen people who've overdone weed on a protacted period, and I'm almost certain that they were using some kind of tainted product for that matter too.

Remember, everything in moderation. Having a difficult personal experience like that can easily give you an irrational extreme opinion on a subject, but you can't honestly and knowledgably say you hate pot unless you simultaneously decry every drug there is that does not naturally occur in the human body, including (but not limited to) alcohol, caffeine and paracetamol. Any of those can cause effects many times worse than the apparent effects of the THC you saw if taken out of moderation.

Incidentally, I have a sneaking suspicion that I've just been trolled, but the viewpoint must be challenged if it ever arised.

she's the only one that got permanent brain damage though... unless you count alcohol as a drug in which case you can include George W Bush, and some other politicians... the rest mostly have brain damage for other reasons.

If you were calling me a troll, I take offence at that, I meant it seriously, the problem with pot is that it is hard to do it in moderation.

I don't think you can really 'do' pot, I mean you can, but it makes about as much sense as saying someone 'does' nicotine. You smoke it, he may smoke pot, I don't know about that, but 'doing' pot sounds like sitting in a dirty room by yourself injecting a needle full of ganja into your arm.
