That's a possibility as well. Rather than wondering and assuming who is and isn't gay, straight up knowing who is may allow them to get past it and focus better. But as I've said, I haven't seen any studies done on this, so I don't know the effects, and THAT is what concerns me.Matt Oliver said:Honestly, this might help the soldiers form better unit/squad coherison.
That... that has nothing to do with what my point is. I work in an office, bro, and I'm in the Navy. I'm talking about the front lines, which is pretty far from where I am. I never mentioned myself or my feelings about gays and I specifically stated that I know gays aren't going to be even remotely like the stereotypes on TV.That Hyena Bloke said:Also no offence, but you must have a pretty high opinion of yourself to think that fully trained gay soldiers are going to be distracted by you. Gay men have just as much self control as straight men, much more even considering how they have to hide their orientation most of the time. Also, they've been serving on the front lines with you all along, you just don't know who they are yet.
I appreciate that, but I already explained my thoughts to others in this thread. I'd rather not type it all again.SmashLovesTitanQuest said:So, Jack the Potato, assuming you werent trolling/joking/whatever im open to listen to what you say and exactly what the differences are.
