I wasn't too excited. They were playing during school and I was almost thrown out due to a comment about them showing Kenya. No amazing lines or anything memorable.
As a person who despise about 95% of the USA(I'm not going to write my nationality like some of you have, because I do not think nationality is important, 'couse in the end, were all just humans(and that's bad enough if you ask me). And the reason that I despise the USA is because it's fucked up to much and think to highly of itself.), I got to say that Obama seems to be able to talk pretty. I just hope he keeps his promises somewhat, at least.

He is the 44th president. However, Grover Cleveland was the 22nd and 24th president of the US, so only 43 people have taken the Oath.
And as a side note, the Oath has only been taken 65 times: 220 years is 55 elections, plus the first, plus 9 people who left office early: 4 deaths, 4 assassinations, and Nixon.

Be honest here - I'm pretty sure Bush was the one that started the last war, which already makes him a much more viable candidate, despite the complete lack of speaking skills. Just for one second consider the ideology involved here - no parallels.
Obama made a very powerful speech, and very eloquently too. This is an important time for the United States and he could be the one to guide them through it.
Who can blame him for messing up his oath? Thats a mouthful to say. That black priest who gave the benediction was really good. The poet was the biggest timefiller ever, I think everyone in the VIP section was trying not to laugh.

At the end of the day, just words. I laugh at these people comparing him to JFK and FDR and Lincoln. Can we wait for him to have a legacy before we compare his legacy to such great men? I hope he does what is right. We need action, not words.
