and the worst part is i have it on my steam games list FOREVER! FOREVER MOCKING MEEEE!

*Completly ignored*

Again they didn't make that statement or promise anything.

Man, this is just great journalism. "sarcasm"

Obsidian, your games being buggy and crashing has absolutely nothing to do with game engines. At all.

Instead, it has everything to do with you having a shitty, lazy, incompetent QA department, all of whom should have been fired and executed years ago.

Actually, scratch that. It seems like everyone who isn't an artist or involved in the story/character department has no idea what the hell they are doing.

As a matter of fact, the only reason most of your recent games even half work is because they've been based off things where 60% or so of the work was already done for you by someone not incompetent, IE: Bethesda or EPIC.

Stick to stories and characters and plots Obsidian. Let other people do all the actual gameplay work for you; trust me, it'll turn out better.
And I suppose you know all the internal workings to Obsidian then? Calling for the execution of someone because of a buggy game is ridiculous.
If had I done as shitty a job as Obsidian did with Alpha Protocol and Fallout: New Vegas, I would have fired myself for letting such a slipshod product out the door.

Alpha Protocol and New Vegas invented new, unheard of levels of fail and brokenness.
I can't comment on Alpha Protocol, but myself and a number of other people can testify to having pretty stable performances with New Vegas.

I wouldn't like to believe that they could make a TOTALLY bug free game, but that doesn't stop me looking forward to this game a great deal since I rather like the Dungeon Siege franchise.

I'd say Alpha Protocol was pretty stable (my only complaint being that combat is slightly unbalanced). The only bug I ever encountered was a freeze that would happen if I tried to turn on a TV during auto-save. New Vegas had problems, but not any worse than Fallout 3, that's for sure.

Its a simple action game so there is not enough stuff to have bugs in the first place.

1.Promises no bugs
2.Obsidian
3.New engine
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
This won't end well.
It MAY be stable, but it will have bugs, and it will probably be fun.

Look, I love you guys Obsidian. I have, and will continue to defend your games in every topic you're brought up in within the forums and honestly I hold you as one of my favourite developers around today. But I'll believe it when I see it! Even as a hardcore fan, bugs are sorta... well, they're your 'thing'. And not a good thing either, more like an unattractive wart on an otherwise beautiful face kinda thing.

I hope you fix it up some and improve your act a little. But I wont hold my breath... don't get me wrong, I'm sure the game'll be fun. But bug free?

We'll see...
I totally agree with you... I like that they are making the effort even if it fall through... Its the "hey we are gonna do our best for our fans because we love them vibe" makes me feel all nice and warm and fuzzy in the pit of my stomach.
