I post this because:

a.) I wonder if others know/have seen these.

and

b.) I wanna see any British, French, Swedish, etc. scams that have made it to television commercials.

Ones that I have seen:

I've seen the last two before.

Pretty stupid if you ask me. If your going to make a scam commercial, then at least have the lines actually sound legit.

And yet enough people use it that they enough profit that they can make enough profit to advertise and still get rich. Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups (don't get me started on politics...). All it does (I'm guessing) is clean off some viruses and maybe some minor tweaking but that's probably giving them too much credit. Also, for more scams, check out "A.I.L (American Income Life)"...or really any "job" that's based on commission and talks about people making bank when, in reality, those people are at the top of the pyramid scheme.

I'm guessing it just cleans up unused files. Yeah I know there are a lot of stupid people around but I was just saying you'd have to be pretty high on the scale of stupidity to use it, god knows what it would install to your computer

Apply to an Online College today! I mean, it's not like you're going to work anywhere important, so why waste money you could be using to buy important crap like weed or Cheetos! And everyone knows that getting an education at some hoity-toity university is for squares, daddy-o! And are Harvard graduates allowed to attend classes naked as the day they were born? Hells no! You can plan the rest of your life while simultaneously googling lolcats!

Hmm, like spyware so they can later claim to be "another group or person" and then blackmail you? Or use such spyware to steal your identity? And most people won't delete the spyware file when it gets caught by their anti-virus software because it's got a title along the lines of "Performance Optimizer by Finally Fast"? If you think about it, it's a smart plan.

That "QuickQuid" or whatever advert on TV. The APR was something like 2,000%. ._.

I feel sorry for anyone who paid back that much.

How come Swedish? Are we really that international?

OT: Uhm, can't really think of any scams right now, just give me a minute...

EDIT: No TV-scams on my mind but I got a funny Facebook scam that got national attention. The story goes that someone felt generous enough to start a FB group that had the intention to give 50 cent per member to the victims of the earthquake in Haiti. Said and done the group quickly earned itself 200 000 + members. By that time the admins felt the need break the bluff and changed the name to "Swedens National Club for Necrophilia" or some such.

A very nasty prank indeed but I lul'd so hard since at least 1/3 of my friendlist had joined...

All those work from home tv ads are a joke.

But my favorite scam related incident of all time has to be Prince Joe Eboh, when the guy took him for an over year long reversal.

I haven't seen any Mona Vie commercials on TV yet, but that is also one hell of a massive scam.

I like how the "Finally Fast" commercial said it was for "PC computers only."

I don't think many people have personal computer computers.

Finally Fast just does routine maintenance on your computer, i.e. defragging your hard drive, removing cookies/spyware; things you can do on your own for free, and they aren't even that hard to do! For the life of me I don't understand why anyone would give their credit/debit card number to a company and say "Yeah, charge it!" Doesn't anyone want something in writing first? It's just another product preying on the ignorant and lazy.

Glad to know I made somebody happy. That was my good deed for the day so I can be an a-hole for the rest of the day and still get in to heaven/nirvana, right?

haha. Good point, now did they do that accidentally because they are stupid or if they did it on purpose because they expected their potential customers to believe that writing was correct. Kinda like a "you must be this stupid to use our product" test?

Any of the "Post your Gold" ads.

Sure, put a valuable substance in an envelope marked with "VALUABLE" and trust them to send you back money.

Jeeeeeeeeez.
