I think this is a very good point. I don't know how much people spend on porn, but I think porn is a massive cornerstone of the internet judging by all the jokes about it, and the internet is a massive cornerstone of humanity. In that perspective, only a small portion of that population would be needed to make VR wildly successful.

I don't know, that sounds like 3D to me exactly. The question really seems to be more will there but a sufficient market to justify costly technology with so many caveats?

The answer is "probably," but still.
