odd gaming moments

has anyone had a weird moment were something happens that makes you wonder how it happend? here is a example. "in left 4 dead i found a hunter running in circles". tell me one of yours. edit: heres another. i played assassins creed and jumped out of a haystack and hit someone that glitched things and i fell through the floor.

I was playing RFG online once and I placed a singularity bomb in a downed smokestack. When the bomb went off it flung the smokestake through the air killing a team member, who was in mid air. The game didnt say I betrayed him but instead said that an enemy crushed him.

Sometimes random animals fall out of the sky in Fallout 3, or at least that's happened to me a couple of times.

In Fallout 3 I shot a Fire Ant in the head with the Chinese Assault Rifle and it's head flew up out of sight and fell behind a building on the horizon. I'm sure lots of people have strange stories about Fallout 3 though...

But OT, Fallout 3 has loads of odd moments, like when NPCs freeze so I can't talk to them or interact in anyway for the rest of the game.
And lets not forget when I accidentally encountered the cursed swing of GTA IV.

Was in Paradise Falls, and everyone randomly went hostile, for no reason...
(Unless they found out about the stuff I stole off the counter in the gun shop, which I then sold back to them)

Hm, one thing that does come to mind was when a car flew past my almost full speed Agency lv4 supercar in Crackdown, and continued to soar away untill it dissapeared into the great beyond

Fallout 3 has a lot of random bugs that'll make random things happen all the time. I've seen NPCs walk up to walls, talk to them, then walk through them only to teleport behind me.

You know that part in Resident Evil 4, where your on the island and walking through that short prison area with the body bag in the trash can and the regenerator sitting in one of the many off set cells? Well this was my first time playing the game and for some reason that regenerator made absolutely NO NOISE. Usually they hiss and breathe loudly so you know they are coming but I was clueless. I ended up walking right past the cell and nearly had a heart attack AND a stroke when it clamped down on my neck from behind. Even when I broke free and started to shoot it there was no noise, everything else audio related like my gun was fine but this thing was just silent. VERY creepy.

I fell through a wall on Oblivion. It was weird.

If you knife the body of the dead bartender the entire town goes hostile. It's stupid I know but he is considered an NPC belonging to Paradise Falls.

I've got another Fallout 3 one, when I was doing the quest with Hannibal he decided to hold his gun upside down and then his Brahmin started floating off in the air and never came back... Also, on GTA 4 I jumped out of the car I was driving and Niko carried on running at the exact same speed, I couldn't stop him and he just kept cutting through innocent people, until he hit a police car and teleported inside of an internet cafe... :S

I was playing WoW one time, walking around Alterac Valley (Not the BG) and I flew in the air, got the loading screen, and ended up in Undercity. Guess who was Alliance, and flagged.
Also yesterday, I saw someone get Deathgripped over and over again until they just flew straight up in the air.

Another Fallout 3 one. I was playing Point Lookout i was in my stealth suit sneaking around the interment camp trying to avoid the reapers and i out of nowhere paladin hoss comes running in and trys to take out all of the ghouls of corse he died i collected his tags and sold them. Then while playing Mothership Zeta he comes running out behind me and runs around a corner and died once again collected his tag sold it again

It happened as I was about to loose my mind in one of the last sequences of that marvel called: Psychonauts.
I just could not reach a place after much jumping and the sequence kept repeating itself.
As I was falling down once more to my brief demise, and was about to make a pact with some dark God to allow me to reach that ledger, the screen had a momentary "Matrixy" effect and when I revived I was up there. On the ledge. Where I wanted.
After carefully examining my room for any evidence of my blood spilled on any sort of ancient document, I continued the game and just a few minutes later I was triumphantly looking at the final credits.
I am rather happy that the glitch occurred at that moment, or I'd be a docile intern in some sanatorium, or the unhappy toy-boy of a hellish deity.

Was it in Castle Skingrad? There's a fake wall that glitches a lot. It goes into a tunnel, but if you glitch through it, you just fall. For a long ways.
