Last weekend I noticed a few things about my new cat that seemed kinda odd (to me anyway). He plays fetch and likes to eat SpaghettiOs. I'm wondering what odd things do your pets do?

My dog jumps at low-hanging branches, balloons, and birds.

It's cheap entertainment, and it's a hit with the ladies.

My dog really likes licking up the peanut butter I smear on my genitals.

Aside from that he's pretty boring.

My philadendren likes to sit in a pickle jar full of water, as opposed to a pot full of dirt. And it likes fertalizer on occassion. It also has a great fondness for growing roots in strange places.

I had a rabbit who ran around the garden along the same path, sometimes stopping to clear out a few twigs. And then he would run like crazy over it. In short: he made a racing track.

That is, unfortunately, not really all that odd for a dog. I used to have a dog that did that. The doctor told us we could put this stuff in her food that would make her poop taste like bitter apple. Which, ultimately leads to an important question. Is the taste of bitter apple really that much worse than the taste of shit?

Everytime I make sausage my dog rushes into the kitchen and starts standing on it's hindlegs it is d'aww. She also hops through long grass chasing you because she is too small to walk. She has found out that you don't have to run all the way across wooden flooring and sliding is just as quick:)

My cat, well if we let her out in the morning she will attempt to follow me to school, once it almost got her killed. She also lets me dog bite her head and then eventually hangs onto my dog. She sleeps under the christmas tree, she doesn't play alot anymore like she used to. Also when you have your top off she will put her paw over your belly button and look at it as if it is something unknown. There is alot more but it may take me all night.

You have a pet plant? That's not normal, but it's nice.

When I last had an aquarium, I had a water-snail that would climb up to the surface of the water, and then go into his/her shell and drift to the bottom. I found it amusing, but odd. Also, when I had more than one of them, they would glide gracefully across the gravelly floor. I guess they're nocturnal...

According to a recent "Cracked.com" article, that's actually a defense mechanism (i.e. your dog isn't as likely to be found by predators if it finds somewhere to hide its distinctly odorous poop)

My dog enjoys rolling around in the snow and nudging you when you abruptly stop petting him. I suppose every dog does this, but still.

My dog will stare at you like he's mad or upset, unflinching and unmoving. Then, the moment you think he's just going to stare at you forever, he'll leap at you and either bite your hand or swat at you playfully with his paws. It's actually one of the cutest things ever, but I don't know where he picked up on that. He's a chihuahua so he's not exactly tearing holes in my hand, btw.

My cat likes to act like she's upset when you try to pet her or play with her, but then when you turn around and walk off, or stop paying attention, she strikes. She literally waits for you to ignore her to get revenge. It's really awsome, but unfortunately she's terrified of everyone but me and won't leave my room if someone else is in the house.

My family has two dogs and I basically own one of them. It's a small black mixed breed.

Anywho... This dog snores like there is no tomorrow. I mean this dog is like the size of my head and snores like a nuclear steam train (not sure how that works). Sometimes it's cute when she lets of a little purr but when you're trying to sleep... Those rasping noises makes you want to cut your ears off.

Opened the door from the cat's room and entered my kitchen. When I turned the lights on and a black cat jumped out I was scared sh*tless!

My cat Garfield tries to eat the artificial tree all the damn time. But that's nothing compared to my older brother's cats, who go after each others asses like there's no tomorrow.

Oh yeah, I also got a psycho cat that growls at nothing in particular (doors, the wall, the couch, the floor, etc.)
