Why so much hate for dubs? Some are excellent, like El Hazard The Magnificent World. A lot of people say the English dub is the definitive version.

Lets see how to word this... The original version of the anime is untainted and in the most complete or perfect form as can be. It is completely in the form that it is intended to be viewed. I get subs or fansubs of this original version so that I can view the complete, original work as untainted or unchanged as possible and still understand it.

What that means is that only the original Japanese version can be the definitive version, no matter how good the English dub is. It's a preference that I'm sticking with and I hope I don't spark any flames on this subject >.<

Oh thank you. I was planning on asking you about your avatar for a while but procrastination got the best of me. I'll be checking that anime out...

Personally, I just like being able to understand them without having to read the subtitles, even though I read very fast. And the female voices tend to get annoying for me. The high-pitch squeals make my ears hurt.

In all honesty, I worked at a rental place, and the "Company" will be able to recover. Every disc they own is insured to a tee. I'm sure netflix and Gamefly work the exact same way. They pay top dollar to insure these bad boys. And by-the-by, I wan't fired, I quit b/c of my boss. I'm not giving you bad info here.
