If you have a friend who also has Modern Warfare 2 you can download his disc onto your hard drive and then use your own disc as the startup disc. I have done this myself so I know it works.

Well that's a hardware fault in the console then, unavoidable really. What I'm saying is that I don't understand those people who snap their games out of frustration, or pay such little mind to how they store/move them that they manage to break them.T3h Merc said:

when i bought a brand new copy of the original God of War and the disc didnt fucking work. pissed me of to no end, spending 20£ on Amazon getting a cheap laugh at me.
also, my DBZ: Budokai 2 disc broke. it can start the game, but as soon as you enter any game mode, it blackouts.
finally, 2 days after i bought DBZ: Infinite World, my brother broke it and he still wont pay me for it. i didnt see him do it, but i wasnt home, and hes the only other person in the house who used the ps2, so it could only be him.
he still denies me my 45£.
