Athest arn't hard to understand. Anti-thiests are harder, especially ones who hate one particular religion, the fun art is what that particular religion did to piss them off so bad.

A lot of people on this website feel the need to destroy religion. I assume it's because they think doing so makes them look smart, when in reality they are nothing more than pseudo intellectuals.

I agree completely agree, why would you want to ruin someone's faith? some people take real comfort in it and I sometimes wish I could believe. to try and ruin that for someone is just cruel. you wouldn't rip on a gay person for being gay, a black person for being black, you shouldn't rip on fat people for being fat. so why is it acceptable to rip on a religious person for believing? its bullshit is what it is.

If i had mod powers i would put you on probation! religious threads, meta threads and repeat threads are three things I cannot stand. they degenerate into flamewars (as evidenced by your op) and starting one up is tantamount to encouraging it. I stand by my original reported

No, religion threads aren't annoying. Don't like 'em...then stay away, simple solution. What actually is annoying is reading post after post of people complaining about topics being done before. I don't see what's wrong with wanting to discuss your believes. The thing about the escapist is that you already know you have something in common in a mutual love of games (at least i assume so) however A lot of people will immediately jump on anything as you might have noted with jim_doki.

Just because you disagree with something doesn't make it uninteresting to listen to them, the entire point of an argument shouldnt be to be the winner it should be to improve your understanding

While i understand your intentions, it's not a smart move to start a thread like this. It brings exactly the same heat as a regular flamewar. when you see a flamewar, the best thing to do is report it and move on. Drawing attention to them brings out the worst in people. please understand that.
