Simple premise: Share anecdotes of when something hilarious happened in multiplayer modes on games.
My friend and I were splitscreening Halo 3's online multiplayer, and got plunged against our will into a Team Rockets match, which irked us as we both cared about our K/D spreads at the time.
The map was the Narrows, if anyone remembers it. A way to get by we figured was to go to the back of our starting area, and run up the slopes on a wall. Enemy players running towards us wouldn't see us until it was too late, so we started picking people off. It was going well, though most of them twigged it and tried almost successfully to mount a coordinated counter offensive, or just avoided us entirely.
One guy, though. Ohhh, one guy.
He ran towards our spot and we popped him. Pretty soon, he came back again, cautiously this time. Looking for who could have done it. But he couldn't find us and ventured too far. We got him again. This time, due to proximity mic, we heard him exclaim: "THE ROCKETS ARE COMING OUTTA THE WALLS!"
