somewhat concerned at the situation.
Well at least you didn't get all stressed out and crazy like most people. Either you've got a cool head or your apathy knows no bounds.

Yeah, i just went back to my book. My apathy is going to get me killed one day. Saying that however, i did make a mental note of our position along the coast/emergency exits and put on a long sleeved top to protect myself from burns as best i could. As i was near the fuel tanks though i would have basically been dead if the plane went down. Didn't feel terrified, just remembered thinking logically and calmly.

Did your plane actually crash? Mine crashed 20 yards away from a tiger cage.

I was working on this animation in 3Ds Max... [img_inline caption="Figure 1:
Tessellation
of a
Hexagon" height="200"]http://geometricarts.googlepages.com/spier.jpg/spier-full.jpg[/img_inline]
I was making a cylinder into a baseball bat for whatever reason, so I added 'Tessellate' to make it smoother. I clicked on 'add iterations' to make it smoother and I accidentally set it to 4. (0 is none, 9 is Tessellation to the Ninth Power for each Polygon.) The number of Polygons of my model shot from 120 to 12,000,000 and the program crashed, wasting 5 hours of work.
Being the person I am, I could care less. I just went "Nooooooooooo!!!! Oh well." and did something else. No amount of screaming or beating children will bring it back.
-At least in my case it doesn't make the pain go away.

Nah, it didn't crash and it landed fine. Couple of days later i was in a plane taking off from Doha in Qatar flying back to Britain and we lifted off in a thunderstorm. My window was shaking badly - nobody elses was. Fate had it in for me that week.

my OH NOES was when i bought fallout 3 and didn't like it- yesterday.
I'll take it.

I don't think I've lived a long enough or risky enough life to have experienced any epic "oh noes" moments yet, but yesterday my 360 froze while I was playing Far Cry 2 and I hadn't saved for about 2 hours... Not so much of an "Oh noes!" moment as a "This f*ing game!" moment.

not to worry, i am liking F3 now
