A real life one is when I realised there was a Land Rover heading for me but that wasn't the "Oh shi-" moment, it was realising I was diving into a hedge full of stinging nettles to avoid it.

In STALKER: SOC there was a glitch that spawned about 2 dozen enemies (pigs, dogs and blood suckers) at the entrance to the red forest in the army warehouse area whenever you came back from the forest.
It was very easy to be outnumbered and owned in seconds if you didn't haul ass out of there asap.

I like to run up stairs two at a time, but almost once a day, my foot slips. This results in a painful thud when my knee (or shin) slams against the corner of the step.LeonHellsvite said:

One time in Halo 3 I spawned and the first thing I hear is the horn of the warthog two feet in front of me going and full speed. I didn't even get out Oh.

Every single time I am talking to my friends while playing search and destroy and then I realize they're all dead, and it's me versus 5 other guys. That, or the first time I played battlefield 1942 and I hear a bomb being dropped on my head.

My Oh Shi- WoW moment was in Karazhan when we were pulling the ghosts after Shade of Aran.. at the time there was a glitch where you could inadvertantly pull WAY more ghosts then you could possibly fight..
So we pull it, and being the paladin scum that I was at the time, I said over vent "Screw you guys" and Bubblejumped off the ledge and ran out of the instance, with "WTF"s and massive LOLs from my guildmates.

Earth Defense Force. Larger of the giant robots (about the size of tall buildings) with Plasma-ish Artillery Cannon-things for arms(each one as large as the robot. Came up on one and started shooting, it slowly turned in my direction
....
And very quickly, an artillery cannon arm was pointing at my face, close enough that I could have touched it with an outstretched arm. Large enough that a person could walk inside the barrel without crouching.

OT: Sniping/Noticing a Sniper/Sentry in TF2. There are too many Oh Shi- moments covered by that single sentence to remember all of them.
Yep. I didn't find the regenerators scary.. More unnerving. Same goes for the writhing bag. The shock moment scared me because the game wasn't particularly scary up until that point so I wasn't expecting some guy to burst out of a fridge screaming.Et3rnalLegend64 said:
