Crap AI is coming for our jobs.
Yes, we all have to realise that loads, and loads, and loads of people are going to lose their jobs to AI even if AI will be worse at the job.
This has precedent. After all, in the early industrial era, as the skilled craftsmen (weavers, etc.) were put out business, it wasn't because machines were making goods that were better quality.
And then there will be all the people who lose their jobs to AI not because it's better or even cheaper at the job: they'll be sacked just because it's fashionable to replace workers with AI, and once done the stock market will reward the company: big, fat bonus for the board so the execs will be happy.
