So after being bothered by my cousin/friend/neighbor/villain/pet/lost twin to play X for a while now I decided to give it a try and honestly after playing for about 13 seconds I don't see what the big deal about X is! The story is just a generic fantasy/sci-fi/horror/drama, the characters with complex personalities and epic moments are forgettable OH and the GAMEPLAY! dear god! I mean I know this game came out years ago and every other game of the genre copied/based it off on this game but WHY IS IT JUST LIKE Y, Z OR Q FOR THAT MATTER?! I mean those games came out like less than a year ago and X is already ripping them off! Why are people having other opinions other than MINE?!?!

I now await your responses to my post constantly pressing the F5 button but never replying to any of your posts and you won't ever see me again in any other threads.... OR I will reply to your well thought out argument with vague extremely biased short sentences, while completely avoiding your points.

2 things. half-life and skyrim. OH MY RAPTORJESUS do people have a raging hard-on for these two games. I don't even know why people like those two games. And i was born in 1990 so you'd think i would have at least played the first one but i never got around to it. Skyrim, that one is ok. I mean I personally get REALLY bored with the whole fantasy magic-y setting. Im more of a sci-fi guy...halo, starcraft, mass effect, stuff like that. But still people LOVE these two games but they make me yawn and go "meh".

X isn't great because of gameplay, it's good because it's just such a great parody! Seriously, if we look at it as a regular generic game of it's genre it is...just a generic game of it's genre. Same here I am surprised no one has mentioned the Ys series yet either (unless I missed it) Im not sure which is superior but I would probably like the ys games over the x games as its more my style of gameplay and so I proclaim Ys as superior to X despite not having played either and knowing hardly anything about them.
