I tried to get them running on Vista a few days ago. I got annoyed with crashing. It's such a good game to throw away :[Kaez said:I play Thief 1 and 2 on my computer, but then again I'm running XP.
Hmm, not a bad idea, I may just do that thxSL33TBL1ND said:You could try finding some emulators. I use Dosbox for all my Doom games.BlindMessiah94 said:Magic : The Gathering : Shandalar
It won't run on anything but Windows 95 anymore....
I's a sad panda :'(
It was a sweet game too...the card game meets an RPG...
I actually got the Tie Fighter CD that my friend gave me (I originally had the DOS version) to work on my previous computer that ran Windows XP, but it took quite a bit of tweaking and fooling around. That was a few years ago, and that computer has since died due to a virus. I wouldn't know where to begin on my Vista laptop, but I keep the disk in the hopes that some day I will be able to play it again.Caligulove said:TIE Fighter. I've tried many times, but I just can't get it to run on my more advanced system.
It thinks I don't have the right (outdated) version of DirectX and thinks that it still needs it for the game to run. I've tried multiple times for an emulator or some other solution, but I find myself getting distracted by something else, or something better or more important than a nostalgia trip comes up
):

I wish I could still play Worms Armageddon, but for some reason it won't work on my machine now, even if I try comparability mode. It's not that old, but it crashes anytime I load a game.
I can't wait.
Also, I want The Lost Vikings to work again... I never finished it.![]()

I opened this thread with the intention of posting exactly that. That game was so much fun. It would probably be more-so now that I'm a bit older and will understand the jokes better.seanmcdow said:toonstruck, really really good adventure game
