Hi everyone,

I'm looking for the name of a old PC (DOS) Game. Probably somewhere beetween 1988-1995. I can't remember much of the game. I remember that you where playing a man (2D) and it was probably a Jump and Run or a Arcade game. In the beginning of the game you could walk the screen to different houses or levels, you could access most of them. In one of the levels there was a lantern or something like that to the left of the entrance on a platform (you had to jump in order to get there), which you probably had to collect. Also I can remember the game having very simple graphics, that was mostly very colourfull contours of the objects on a black background. Also I can't remember any form of combat!

I know this isn't much, but maybe this rings a bell somewhere.
Thank you for your help.

Edit: I'm not looking for Commander Keen or Crystal Cave :)

Hi there,

I've been pulling my hair out looking for a game I played when I was younger. It's an old PC or Mac point and click game. I don't remember much about it other than that you had a pink rabbit and a blue rabbit wearing trench coats (I think) that would help you through the game. I believe it was all 2D. I know it wasn't Reader Rabbit or Tiny Tunes. I would be very grateful if somebody could help me out!

Okay this is driving me crazy!

I remember an old macintosh or windows game probably from the 90s that I can't find online anywhere although i've been very descriptive. Basically I remember it as a collection of a bunch puzzles and I can vividly remember some of them. The graphics were cartoon and there was voice acting but it was a very high quality/production game. I'm surprised I can't find it! Anyway here are all the puzzles I remember:

1) You had to combine a bunch of chain links by cutting them and you could only cut them a certain number of times. There was a blacksmith that charged money for splitting and putting back together links so you had to utilize your money and there was only one solution.

2) You had to combine a bunch of different types of ropes to let a tightrope walker cross a pit and it involved like retying and moving around ropes of different types.

3) You had to figure out which lightbulb of a stoplight went out but you couldn't see the stoplight from the stand on the corner so you had to use a stick of butter to turn on the light and put it on each of the lights to figure out which one was hot and melted the butter.

4) You had to use a scale but could only weigh coins a few times, and you had to determine which coin out of 10 was a fake coin (which weighed more) and which coins were real.

5) You were a cop sitting at a desk and you had to figure out how to prevent the prisoner from escaping becase he would always figure out how to break the light and steal your keys and escape.

Hi I've been looking for this game forever!

Alright so my memory is pretty vague but I think I played this game between 1999-2008
As I remember it was on PC and I don't remember much story to the game, but what you would do is design these battle airships that you would have fight NPCs and find like alien artifacts. It was in 3rd person and you were able to place the engine, the thrusters, guns, ect. I believe building the ship was in a hexagonal format if that helps. I also remember it was kinda freeroam, but yet there were missions. There is not much else I remember about this game, but I really hope someone can help. I've spent hours searching for this game, but only so many things come up for "Battle airship sandbox". These were some of my favorite memories I had with my father and really hope to relive them.

Thanks for the help,
Alex

Hello.

I've been serching for this game around 15 years.
Here is what my memory can say about the game.

1) It was a dos game, i played it 1993-1995.
2) As far as i remember it was monochrome. But it is not exact, maybe it was because of the display.
3) You start as a ninja on a moving train (or somehting that was moving).
4) Ninja had something like lamp above his head.

That's all i can remember. Can anyone help me with this?
Thank you in advance.
Dark.

Hello I'm looking for a game that I only played a demo tape for the year 1999-2001, the game is a soldier who lives in a small house, but home is always destroyed an enemy soldier and this always brings a car as armadillo or fish, seeking to avenge the destruction of your home, find enemy soldiers who can be your allies throwing some food to them, can also find nurses who will join you to heal your wounded allies, including some parts secret where you use ships or submarines.

the game had a symbol of a red butterfly, is not whether it is game or developer.

I can't remember what console it was on but its a game where your in a arena and its like a free for all using cars only and you can get rockets and different weapons and just destroy each others cars. I remember the weapons shoot from the roof of cars but might be wrong. I also remember that you can lock up to cars when you are ready to shoot (green aim thing). Its a vehicle combat game. It might be on the Sega Dream Cast.

Hey all! I'm looking for the title of a game I played on my Apple II GS back in the late 80's/early 90's. The theme was a dungeon puzzler, where you controlled a gray wizard with a staff. I remember the graphics being really good for the time. Each level had more complicated traps in it, the ones I remember specifically are little green acid pools that roamed around, little jets of fire in the walls and floor, and floor spikes. The end of each level was a ladder going down to the next level. Sometimes you would find little spells that would help you out. They'd make you invincible for a second or something.

The boss fight (really the only fight, if I remember right) was against a dragon who would breath fire at you, and the trick to the game was basically that if you used any of your spells (one-time use kinda deals) earlier in the game, you couldn't beat the dragon because you needed them all to fight it.

Anyway, I seem to remember that it had kind of an isometric view of the level, but I could be wrong about that. I also remember that the death animations for the game were pretty intense for the time. If the acid got you, you melted into a pile of bones, and if the floor spikes got you there was a bloody mess of an impaled wizard.

I think there may have been a version on the NES/SNES, but I wouldn't stake my life on it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, I'd love to see if I can find it again to see if it is still as hard as I remember!
That's definitely Will Harvey's The Immortal [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g-ggBsSrd1c] you're describing.

There was this game, im not sure but i think it was a side-scrolling one in which you played as someone wearing a white cloak. (Like Soma from the Castlevania series) and it has a theme i can never forget, but i still dont know the name, anyway i remember the first boss being something like hulk and there was a stage with things like ghosts (similar to Castlevania medusa heads.)

There was this hidden objects game that my friends and I used to play on the computer in the 90s. I think it was a game that came preinstalled with the computer, but I may be wrong. We've been searching using various keywords, and we can never find it.
It was set in a haunted house, and your character would use their flashlight to find objects that the game would ask you for. But the dark made everything in the room seem like it was a monster or creature. Like I remember the stag head on the mantle looked like a giant angler fish in the dark, and the umbrellas in the holder looked like snakes or something. Any leads would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I dunno if what I'm about to describe has already been said or not, this thread is far too massive to scour every single page so bear with me, Hahaha.

It was a late 90's to early 2000's title (playing on Windows), a 2D or 2.5D action/hack-n-slash side-scrolling game. Very arcade-y. No HUD or status bar or inventory. Was quite pixelated but overly, the graphics were okay hence why I doubt it's a DOS game.
I remember one of the levels being a jungle and the playable character used a sword to attack. I don't remember much about the character itself or the enemies but I do remember vividly that when the character moved there was this blurry effect making a bunch of after-images of the character's sprite and his sword (the after-image of the sword and it's attack wave was white-ish/blue in color if memory serves me right). The attack wave or range from the sword when it was swung was quite massive as well.

If it's not much help, sorry. But I'd love to at least know the name of it, Haha.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks a bunch!

I think its called hangout I'm not sure I've been looking for it forever. There are a lot of 'conflict' moments where you have to talk people down from emotional moments, and you legitimately learn a lot about the people around you in the game, and it's very interesting. There are TONS of endings. The town is pretty much open, it's 2-D, with a tattoo parlor, a restaurant, the coffee shop, the library, the cinema, an art gallery.

I'm looking for a game from when I was a kid. Came out in the 90's. All I remember is that you have a girl in a blue dress and white wings and a cat woman. When you walk around they follow you in a line and are really tiny. But when they fight they're in like an adult form. I thought it was Breath Of Fire but it's none of those games. I'm pretty sure it was on Nintendo or Super Nintendo. But no matter how hard I look I can't find it!

**

Also looking for another game. This one has a little old woman with a giant nose and is part plant.

I'm looking for this 3D PC game around 90's or beginning of 00's, not exactly sure when it came out. I used to play the demo of this game. It was like some kind of first person shooter but I can't really remember if you can get guns or not. I remember that it takes place in some kind of temple. After a while you have to fight this giant white rat and you can either punch it or kick it, not really sure which. At the end of the demo you have to fight this masked guy. The mask is similar to Aztec masks but not really sure about this. I have been searching for this game for a long time, still no clue about it's name. Thanks for the help!

Easy one. That's obviously Breath of Fire--

I thought it was Breath Of Fire but it's none of those games.
Hm. Are... Are you sure? Because that sounds awful lot like Breath of Fire 2. Though Nina had black wings in that one.

Guys, there was a game on either Playstation 1 or 2.

All I can remember is that you played as a human and animal hybrid. Maybe a human lion? And you had a giant sword with you, the camera was kinda top down like Diablo 3 and it was just you against a very large amount of enemies. You just went around swinging shit and killing stuff, like a top down dynasty warriors.
