Old Games you remember playing but can't remember the name of.

Hi guys!

I got two old games on my mind. Both I played on PC. And I believe they are made in 1990-2000. Not certain thought.

First one is this 1st person action game, where you are in kind of like western style environment, not quite. It could be maybe like Texas or something, not sure. But anyway, there is some aggressive drunk guys and then aliens that you are killing. You have many different guns and chainsaws etc. I remember that the place where you are is quite big (many houses roads etc). One thing I remember is that I could go from sewer to toilets and stuff..

Second game is third person kind of like LoL style but you move with arrows or wasd whatsoever. I believe game takes time in the Middle Ages. This game is brutal and there is a lot of blood. I remember this game had also pretty big area to explore. You were controlling one guy with green/grey clothes and longish hair if I remember correctly. Then there where houses and beaches. Some of the houses were locked. There were also shops etc. There were monsters and after killing them you got gold. There were also some kind of treasures. One big thing I guess that I remember is that there were chickens and after you killed them they ran for some time without their heads and the blood kept coming. And I remember monsters that were black, kind of like buffaloes without heads and they were running around. There were also possibly some kind of magic. I remember one word ''Sherwood'' first I thought it could be the name of this game but I have done some research and I have found nothing.. For some reason I just remember that word from this game.

-Mercenary management sim/tactical combat. You had to recruit mercs, buy weapons, armor, and gear for missions. If you ran out of money you lost the game.

-The opening cinematic may have contained a visual pun/reference to Michael Jackson. (This game had a "zany" sense of humor.)

-During a dialogue with an NPC (a young kid), the NPC vomits profusely, accompanied by a very loud and gruesome vomit sound effect.

-There is a puzzle at one point involving a giant sentient venus fly trap.




this just the fabrication of a tortured mind, or is it all too real? Bonus points for screenshots, links to e-bay auctions, etc.

Did you ever find out the name of this game? I'm looking for the same one. After some searching, at first I was almost convinced it was jagged alliance, BUT it can't be, because I was playing this unknown game in 1990, and JA didn't come out till a few years after that. Please let me know if you ever figured it out, I'm dying to relive a childhood memory

Hello eveyone! I hope you can help me with this:

It was a PS1 game, late 90s, early 00's, and pretty much the only I can remember is a green lizard/toad or something like that, which moved along a fixed path, where it would find enemies. I kind of remember it as a platformer, but the more precise thing I remember is that the character made a really fancy noise when he spitted (yep, as an attack). It sounded like I also remember some fly-like enemies. It was 3D, typical third person camera, and the path he moved through had 90 degrees corners, so it was pretty much like an enhanced 2D game (reminds me of Tomba! in this aspect).

It could perfectly be a child's game, because I was so little. But god, I just want to listen to that spitting sound effect one last time...

Sorry for being sooo inaccurate.

Hey was wondering if anyone knows the name of this game. It was a computer game (from the nineties I think). Your character was a little old man with a white beard and you would mine through different stages collecting potions and treasure, while avoiding skeletons, spiders, trains and other creatures. Alright, I am currently trying to figure out the name and website location of this strategy game i used to play when I was probably in 3-5th grade somewhere around 2004-2006. The objective was to get a black or red ball onto a center goal in the shape of either a blue or red target which was placed in different spots on a level. You could use a multitude of different platforms from a menu, some including one with a red punching glove, a yellow or white slide and a silver spring and you could use these anyway they could fit to get the ball to the target. The game also allowed you to browse through player made levels. I can't remember if it was one of thosegames youcould play rom your browser, like small litle strategy games based entirely on physics,or if it was something you had to install.

Hey! Wondering if anyone remembers this Space shooter game for PC released somewhere between 2005-2008. You would fly around destroying enemy ships that would explode to diamonds which you would then collect with a yellow vacuum beam and then use them to upgrade your ship. Sometimes you would come across a damaged ship that would let you collect its crew with the beam. I also remember a fitting screen where you fit the weapons, engines , vacuum beam ect. to your ship. The game is from upper perspective.

So.. I don't remember much about this ooold game, but I've been struggling with it for sooo long!!! All I can remember is that it was something like underground..and I was a worm/snake/something which crawls and I had to go through a narrow and black space.. and I guess I had to open some door with a key. I've searched so long for these games but I was unable to find the, hope you can help!

So I played these games when I was around 9 so at least 10 years ago..

1st game: PC, Isometric View, Old Western. I never got past the first level but you had 2 guys. You could select one or the other or both (When you selected both male cowboys a bunch of guns would appear in the corner of the screen) I can't remember if it was turn based or not, I'm 75% sure it wasn't and you had a 'free-roam' of the current level. In this level you had a saloon and in the saloon was a fat 'bad guy' who had a weapon which would instantly kill you (reason I never got past this level) but you started in the bottom left of the map and the saloon was top right. There was a pen with horse/cows to the right of thee starting area. You could select different weapons when you only have 1 guy selected but when you had both guys selected and decided to attack, they would go in guns blazing (Hence why all the guys showed in the corner of the screen)

2nd game: PC or PS2 (I can't remember but I'm pretty sure it was PS2) it was a free-roam game and you played as cars. Essentially like the movie 'Cars' but I don't think they spoke. It was free-roam like I said. It was very child friendly, I remember all the vibrant colours, very much like a cartoon. There was one part of the game where you could drive around a zen-like chinese castle (Well, around it, I can't remember if you could go in) and the cars in that area were chinese too as weird as that sounds.. You had NPC's who would drive around as other cars too as you free-roam but they didn't do much. I cannot for the life of me remember if it had missions or anything, I can't remember any purpose the game had but then again, I was a kid who was easily distracted.

Any help would bee appreciated, I want to complete that bugger of an old-western game!

mm ok so this was a kind of fps game in which the character did not have to move. Had to play from bunker with all sorts of gun available in it with air support and all and waves of enemy coming from all side,and the level will be cleared after you clear few waves of enemies. could someone help me with this game

Ok I am in need of some desperate help. I have been searching for a pc game for the last 10 years.
So the game had a Pacman -like theme to it. A little round character went around collecting points as well as trying not to die. I've never played pacman but it is almost just like it but much more fun. I've only played the game on a pc with Windows 98 early 2000's. Truthfully I don't know how else to explain it other than it was a pacman theme, same little character going around the maze and to the next level. I'm not sure about Pacman but with this game all i used were the space key, enter key occasionally, and arrows. That is the WORST description, I know and I'm sorry, but I'm in desperate need, mentality I just have to find out the name. Trust me I know it's not the original Pacman.

(re-post)Ok Ive been trying to remember this game for a long time. MY information is limited and vague so im really hoping someone will know what im talking about.
All i rememeber is tht it was a really wierd anime game kind of like a beat em up. the bosses were all kinda of wierd and on the final level you have to replay all the bosses, and then fight the final boss. The final boss fight happens in front of like a japanese school and you have to beat him like 2 or three times. at first he looks like a highschool student but during the final part of the fight he turns in to a green monster version of him self with stretchy limbs.
This is all i have i dont remeber the system T_T but it was in the 90s.

There was a game, rather old - shouldn't be past 2007, and the good graphics hint at the point it should be at least past 2000.

It was a 3D third-person perspective game about mechs (big robots controlled by a human inside)

I can't recall all the details except for the beginning, maybe: you start off as a woman in some building which's on fire, you follow some corridors with a handgun... after that part there's another one where you are inside of a mech (belonging to the woman) and follow through some canyons destroying hostile mechs and robots.

No, sorry, it seems that it's not that one. In the game I'm looking for you could totally play as a person throughout some levels, and the first level was exactly like this - you played as woman (don't remember for sure if it was a woman) and you had a handgun, you walked in some kind of an office building that was on fire (fire in the corridors, sprinklers, a few explosions). Then there was a part of the game where you begin in a mech and shoot some hostile flying robots and other mechs

Second, here's my question:

Old game, 80s IMO - you play the role of a mecha/robot that can turn into a fighter jet and you fight the baddies. You can fire rockets if I'm not mistaken and can go in all directions (literally) either by foot or by transforming into a jet fighter.

Any idea?
