Hi everyone,

I've been looking for this game quite some time now, but just can't remember the name. Hopefully you guys can help me out.
I think it was a PS1 game, but i'm not entirely sure about that. It involved a set of characters you were able to play as, which included a bodybuilder with these weird barbells attached to his chest and another Predator-like character. It was a shooter in kind of like a pseudo 3D-perspective.

Of course this is way too vague to just start googling, so i hope it rings a bell for someone :D
Thanks in advance!

Yoh,
Recently I remembered a game I used to play when I was younger.

It's a multiplayer 'shooter', like quake and the sorts, where you fly on beasts I thinks, bats for sure. You can switch from 1st person and 3rd person.
There are power ups, and the maps are rather big since you can fly where-ever.
Can't really remember anything else, but I think that's enough info, since that game was quite unique.

It should be pretty old at this point, and also I remember having it in russian, but I don't think it was russian only.

Thanks in advance if someone can find me that game!

Hello, I hope anyone can help me figure out a game I used to play as a child.
The game is a PC game where you can play with other people through one computer, i don't know about online. At the start of the game you choose which castle you wanna have, like there are different castles- castle in dungeon, darkness castle etc. using map you have turns and can travel. As you move through the map, you are slowly lighting up black parts of it and you move as little man on a horse with your colour flag. You have limited moves, so after your turn is finished, it's someone else's turn. You choose different character cards to use in battle before it begins, however you choose those card characters before the game starts and you can't change it later in the middle of fighting. when the battle begins you can choose which characters to move certain squares towards the enemies. In addition the characters aren't pixalated they look realistic fantasy people, animals, goblins etc. You can also upgrade your things in castle and i think characters. also when you move on a map a number of steps , sometimes you can step on a place where you gotta fight or you can go attack a castle.
Thank you for whoever will be able to try and help ^^
strongly sounds like one of the Heroes Of Might & Magic series, for example

Heroes Of Might And Magic III - The Restoration Of Erathia (1999)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tuy_ncoBhGM

but they are many in the series!... it's hard to guess the right one

Hi guys, so I was playing a game that had a female protagonist and you would go into a fantasy world due to a coma if I remember correctly (kind of like in dreamfall) where you could explore and eventually turn into a half-monster with powers.
It was an adventure/exploration game with some combat elements(I'm not sure on this one, but you did have powers).
Also the graphics weren't really that good, so it must have been an old-ish game which I probably played on ps2.
Thanks in advance!

So, i have been searching for this game on the internet for a long time.

- It is a Sci-fi/futuristic game

- Its a War/shooting game, you control one soldier and have the other AI soldiers help you to fight an army of aliens.

- You see your soldier from a distance, like Zelda games.

- You could ask for reinforcements (soldiers) based on how many aliens you killed, an i remember they would come in a small spaceship in groups of 4-5, there where many tiers of reinforcements.

- You have to defend a base, there where usable turrets there and some interactable doors etc.

- I remember the game title having "war" and a year like "2031" or "3000" on it, but im not sure.

- And i remember playing it on a Cd ROM on PC, in one of these "1001 games" CD that comes with a magazine.

Hello everyone :)
My game that I tried to search for it was a PC game a strategy one that I played a demo of it on 2000 But for this game it was like yesterday
its environment slimier to Age of Empires 1
it has a map to discover and the building at first are just tents (house tents, hospital tent, ...)
and when a discover more of the map I find a Dinosaur Eggs that I can take them and hatch them (in the hospital tent) and make them your bets (the dinosaur has red lines and was on the poster of the game)

Hopefully someone can help me to find the name of this game :)
ParaWorld (2006)?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q-ZSRtAhimM

oooh :D it's really slimier to it Thank you :D
But mine older than that and has tents and I hatch the eggs that I find in the map (i don't remember well but I think sometimes I need to kill its mother that is protecting it)

and they feed on the trees to open me the paths on the map

Hi All,

Looking for a PC game, 1995-2000.

You controlled up to 1-4 cyborgs (enhanced soldiers) to battle aliens on different planets. I think you could switch to any of the 4 on the fly (think it was FPS and behind the shoulder). You could tell each cyborg to defend a position, attack, retreat, fairly basic. On each mission you would get dropped off and often had to be picked up by dropship reminiscent of the one in Aliens, which is about the only thing I clearly remember.

Thanks! I read over 100 pages of this thread before giving up.

Definitely a precursor to Halo.

Greetings various forumites, i have a game that has been bugging me for YEARS, that I can only remember a few scant details for it, any help would be much appreciated:

Things i remember for certain:

the best way i could describe it's Genre would be a fighting RPG, Kinda like Dark Souls

it was definitely a 3D game, i want to say early 3D

There was a mechanic called "overheating" where your character goes into a "overheated" state and gets massive attack buff, but their defense gets obliterated. I don't recall how one entered the the aforementioned state, but i know it could be exited at will either through an item or some other means.

you could collect various weapons (and maybe weapon types? I remember running around with daggers at one point) and constantly upgrade them to the point of being slightly ludicrous.

weapons took damage as you used them, and would eventually break and disappear if you didn't get them maintained...somehow

Things that my memory might be mixing up:

multiple character choices?

Fairly certain the PCs were robots or androids of some variety

Possibly set in a Post apocalyptic world?

The last thing i can remember is that an old gaming magazine called "Tips & Tricks" had an article about it in one of their issues, describing the overheating mechanic, the weapon system, and how to beat some of the challenging bosses

Hi guys,
I am looking for old computer fighting game where main characters were floppy disks and you would fight with enemies spawning on your screen as you move forward. You could choose to play single player or with two players on one screen. I was unlucky to find it, maybe someone here can help ? :) Game was from late 1990s or early 2000s
Cheers!

Hi guys,

I am in a desperate need of your help. For the past few days I've been looking out for some games from my childhood, mostly dos games. But I still can't get a reach on one game. It's slighty newer I think, probably not dos. I've been playing it around 2005 probably. It contained 3 games (I think). In one of them you were a goat (probably) shooting a cannon at stick people so they would not get to you (they were running to you). The other game was a one or two player game. You were a horse or a unicorn with wings, killing some monsters on cliffs on top of you. It was a 2D game. And I think the difficulty rised from level to level. The third game was underwater, you were a fish of some sort (probably) and I don't really know what u were doing there.

The last thing I remember about this game is that it was called FRENZY something. Or at least FRENZY was in it's name...

Please help me guys, I am desperate to find this game :)

Hello, i hope this thread is still active or at least someone can help me with this: i got a game stuck in my mind but i only remember the first chapter of the campaign: u start as a guy with a revolver on a back alley (near a lamp post) during a rainy night. Once u hit right after a corner of a building u get to the main street where are 2 soldiers talking. I suppose u have two kill them and take something from them... i remember there were cars parked and a military truck with running engine. From that spot u can turn left or right. If u go to the right, u will notice a dark alley where u will find a drunk guy, obviously he wants something from u... If u turn left at that point, u will end up in a street where is a watching tower and more soldiers will come and start shooting on u...i remember they will set off the alarm as well. That's all i can remember....if anyone can help me that will be great :D
