I'm looking for two games that I remember playing with my cousins sometime around 2003. The games were in Russian, so I can't remember any names or storyline details. I can recall the games pretty vividly but I haven't been able to find any information about them, so it's possible that they are exclusive to Russia.
The first game is a side-scroller where you play as an anthropomorphic wolf and try to make it to the end of the level by defeating enemies. There were about 10 different levels, each one introducing new enemies. The levels I can recall are an office of some sort, a museum, a building site where you had to jump on the scaffolding, some sort of outdoor sports arena, an amusement park with a ferris wheel you could ride on and a farm. Between each level there was a loading screen that showed how the wolf progressed to the next level, one of which was a picture of a metal fence where the bars had been bent apart and another one was of a smashed window, if I remember correctly.
The enemies I can remember are rabbits that threw apples or something at you, cobras hiding in urns at the museum, robots at the building site, rabbits with boxing gloves, horses that threw sticks or javelins at you, cats that cast magic, and ordinary chickens at the farm. The final boss was a huge purple rabbit that kept pounding the ground and could possibly summon more enemies, I remember it starting out surrounded by a horse and a cat, at least.
The second game is some sort of puzzle game where you control a bunch of monkeys (chimpanzees, I believe). The game had an intro sequence that explained the story, although I couldn't understand any of it as it was in Russian. I remember a scientist being in it as well as a creepy image of a monkey with a burning head that gave me quite a few nightmares as a kid, although the latter might have been a game over screen as well. The gameplay consisted of trying to get the monkeys to use their environment to make it to a machine that I seem to recall looking like a big head or a skull. The monkeys would then punch the machine until they either broke it or fixed it, I can't remember which one.
The gameplay elements include goats that you could ride in order to jump really high, cannons that would fire you on a circus-themed level, chickens that you could throw onto buttons to deactivate force fields, black monkeys with burning heads that would try to kill you, fireworks that you could fire across the level, pools with giant fish that would swallow you and spit you out and drains that would suck you in and transport you to a different part of the level.
The game had both a single-player and a two-player mode. In the two-player mode, player 1 would control orange monkeys and player 2 would control brown monkeys.
If someone could name either or both of these games it would be much appreciated.
