Looking for an old game, hoping people know it.

-probably played it in PC using SNES Emulator or something

-4 characters (where the other 3 were just following you and if you pressed a certain button, the front goes to back and the 2nd one becomes first like e.g. 1-2-3-4 2-3-4-1 3-4-1-2 4-1-2-3 just like rotating)

-characters are like mage, acolyte, and 2 others I can't remember
-when achieving certain levels (almost like ragnarok online) where you start off as acolyte, it branches of to 2 other jobs e.g. acolyte = cleric/priest(am not sure with the priest) magician = wizard/(something else can't remember much)

-it's an RPG style where you first choose a character then the other characters would just come in later (wherein i remembered i chose magician to be my main character then the other 3 in the story i helped then they accompanied me and such)
it's more like a hack and slash type rather than battle mode style.

-it's a 2D type but you go up and down on the area like: you can move diagonally, up, down, left or right while fighting the monsters but in each area your character is only either facing left or right.
Some of the details don't match (mainly the character count), but that might be Seiken Densetsu 3. It pops up in the thread from time to time, folks seem to have hard time remembering the name.

The graphics are quite the same but it's not the one I was looking for, what I do recall is... There are 4 characters and they follow the character you are using and sometimes help attack when you attack and you can switch to any of them as explained in the above. Also when they change jobs like e.g. acolyte(let's just say the basic color of clothes are white) then changes job to either cleric(blue) or priest(green), their clothes don't change but only the color and once you advance to that class, am not sure if you can change it again till the next job change maybe. They move like a snake where they follow the head and can be switched for each character has different skills and depends on what you want to combo their skills into. Also am not sure if it was SNES or other type of emulator. I played it around 13 years ago or so I think so it should have already been made before 2003. I hope what I'm saying makes sense cause I really want to play it. Thanks for the replies.

PS: after posting the above, I looked into what you said earlier and I found these 2 in the lower left oddly familiar so am gonna try this. (magician on the lower left and acolyte in the lower mid) http://pixelartus.com/post/137025570411/seiken-densetsu-3-aka-secret-of-mana-2

Snes game. Adventure-Puzzle (like the Monkey Island games). Medieval setting. Main character and most/all NPCs are anthropomorphized dragons.

This may have been posted before but this thread has 703 pages that I'm not willing to sift through :p

I have been wracking my brain for hours trying to remember this arcade game...

It was a fantasy side scroll / platormer / rpg. I seem to remember it having 3 or 4 "classes" much like gauntlet. And you could climb vines and such. You could buy potions and weapons and armor and such. You might have even been able to level your character in some crude manner. The graphics I'm remembering are probably early to mid 90s with lots of green (trees, forests, etc). It had a definite start and end. I think the rogue character was female but can't swear to it.

Think it had a one word title too...

That's about the only things I can remember about it aside from that I spent a LOT of money on it to finish it.

Well my request kinda... got overshadowed so I'll repost it here:

A friend of mine was looking for this game for a long time and I am helping him a lot. Here is what he remembers.

1) He remembers playing this game during the 2000s (2005 to be exact).
2) The cover of the game was of a woman riding a dragon while holding a man's hand.
3) The game is isometric, 2.5D graphics like Diablo. And it also plays like Diablo a bit.
4) The main character is a bald guy and he starts the game in a cell.
5) He's not sure if the game is a PC game or a reboot.

That's all he remembers. We need all the help we can get to find this game.

Hello all, looking for a bit of help after harboring this quest for around 10 years.

So the game may have been a demo, on PC I believe using a keyboard and mouse. The bit I remember showed only the arm of your character, sometimes with a handgun, mostly in black and white. It was set in a basement/ maze. There was a trapped section that would turn everything colored for a while. Various tools/ weapons to pick up and the most iconic part of the game, you shot big smileys that came out at creepy occasions. It had very simple bricks for walls and environment lines, that's about all I remember for now. Thank you eternally for your help!!

I'm looking for an old fast-paced isometric action/arcade hack&slash RPG PC game. Must be from around 2000. It was rather humorous. You could play co-op. I remember a mage and an archer. The characters had funny voices, I remember one being 'Two for me, none for you' when you quickly looted a lot and your team mate got nothing. Graphics were pretty nice with lots of effects I think. I only played the demo and that was inside an old castle or something. Short action-packed levels.

Edit: it's not Nox. That comes closest, but it's still far from it: the one I'm looking for is more cartoonish, smaller guys, even much faster and more action-packed.
Bumping this...

Hmm. My first guess (considering the one-word title) would be Lightbringer [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_s9f3FMVKcg] (a.k.a Dungeon Magic).

Otherwise (but probably a longer shot), I'd guess either one of Capcom's Dungeons & Dragons games - D&D: Tower of Doom [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=axBRSw0gDWk] or D&D: Shadow Over Mystara [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8alVk4Zi5A0].

Unfortunately none of those. Lightbringer is very japanese and this was (if I am remembering correctly) western for the most part. I don't remember it being quite as "beat-em-up" as the D&D games either but the memory IS a couple decades old at least so...

I *think* it was a one word name. And I think the last part of the game you were trying to get to the top of a tower to kill the big-bad. I also think it was a one person game. I don't think you could have two people playing at the same time.

i have a PC game that i dont remember the name of
i remember i played it arownd 2004-2007 but i think its older
there are 3 races you start off whit humans you have a jetpack and your main character looks like a halo character,
after compeating some missions you get to play whit naga (the second race)
its 3d not perfect graphics something class "quake 3"
im not 100% shure if it was a fps or action categorized,im allso not 100% on this: i think it was only 1 word and it starts whit A and finishes whit S (as multiple, manny).

And one ps1 game :
fighting you go and fight mobs and on the end of each lvl you fight a boss,4 characters to chose from, last few levels your in a submarine trying to stop the bad guys to destroy the world,
on the before last boss you brake her leg and she crows to a laptop and starts some cowntdown ,than she dies and you fight the last boss her man.
first boss is infront of a fountan, there are 2 more gays whit him and hes realy big.
is similar to fighting force series but its not the game.
probably i played that in 1999-2002.

I'd say the first game might be "Giants: Citizen Kabuto" (2000).
https://www.gog.com/game/giants_citizen_kabuto
yes thats the game 10x man
the only thing left is the ps1 game if someone can remember the name of it it will be great

One of the Gauntlet games, maybe? Dark Legacy or Legends?

Not PC though... but it might help narrow down the gameplay or style

Ok, so I only created a account for this sole purpose. I remember a game I played probably around 2008 is the best I can remember (it probably isn't even right). So it goes like this, it was a fishing game where you played as a yellow character. Somewhere on the screen, there was a fishbowl with a bar in it which had the color red, yellow, and green (I think). There was also a arrow moving color to color. When the arrow landed on green, you had to tap the screen (it was a app). If it landed on green, you get a fish. You could get many fishes and grow your aquarium. That was all that I can remember. It would be awesome if you could help me find what it was called.

Hello all, just made an account to find the name of an old game I have been searching for for quite a while. You all seem to be a smart and helpful bunch, so hopefully you can assist me completing this, my seemingly eternal quest.

The game in question was installed on a Windows 95 PC and I think didn't actually require a disk to play it (it was pre-installed/ready-to-play on the machine), but may have been on one at some point. The game I think was a sci-fi/space first-person shooter game, and I think I remember being guided along a possibly-protected path (mentioned later) by a female (computer?) voice through the level that I remember (perhaps a tutorial level?).

For the level I think the player starts off guided and without any weapons initially, being introduced to gameplay/story elements and especially the enemies (akin to Halo CE). I think the level took place outside on a orange/red-coloured planet surface (mars or hell possibly? - kind of like Doom) and the player is guided along a path where he can observe enemies (with relative safety) from behind transparent/invisible shield walls or glass on either sides (like an aquarium viewing tunnel), safe from enemies getting through and projectile damage.

I believe the enemies were aliens or demons (similar looking to Doom/Duke Nukem 3D base enemies in my head) and that they were in battle with each other or (more likely) human soldiers on the planet surface (humans likely were inevitably slaughtered). Furthermore I believe I recall that the player could interfere by walking through the shields/glass out into the battlefield (with the female voice perhaps warning you not to or telling you off for doing so), but the enemies were very dangerous/quick to kill, possibly because you may have not been able to defend yourself without a weapon of your own.

That's about all I remember from the game, but feel free to give suggestions and ask me questions if you can. Thank you all and good luck with the search! All help will be much appreciated. :)

I remember playing a browser game on a site called (sbgames) or (sdgames). It doesn't exist anymore, so I came here. The game was a 8-bits RPG where you had a pink guy as your character. You had to uncover all the map by fighting in caves and killing the bosses. The bosses would appear only sometimes, and you had to stay grinding at the caves for a long time. The map had probably 16 sections, and some areas had secret caves. Your character walks to where your mouse is and he attacks (makes his sword go from vertical to horizontal) by left clicking. You could also personalize your weapon, by making her slim or fat, long or short, and could also enchant her with Fire, Ice, Thunder, Dark, Light and other things. I remember also that in the short / long stuff, you could make your sword go through all the map, since it could grow imensily.

Thanks guys!
