Old Games you remember playing but can't remember the name of.

I am looking for an older game, the only details that I remember are your character is on this planet, and in order to advance through obsticals is to pull up these plant like creatures and there are diff colors of them for diff abilities, you would then proceed to order them to do something. ik in a way it is similar to overlord. any help would be appreciated. never mind found it pikmin is what it is called.

I remember two games, both fighting games for the PS2


1.) I don't remember much about this one, mainly that it's a 3D game and that there is a cat-girl character that has an attack similar to the Hadouken from Street Fighter (same button input as well). And remember that the final boss was unlockable as a character (last one to be unlocked). I know it's not much but maybe..


2.) As for this one I remember that all characters had weapons, one (if not more since I don't remember unlocked all characters) didn't have a weapon, but instead used his arm. The game allowed you to disarm the weapon, and from this character he lost his hand. I also remember the game had a floating sword/ invisible man holding the sword as a boss, this wasn't the only boss however, as I do remember defeating another one (btw I never managed too defeat the floating sword).



I know this isn't a lot but any ideas??

Your first one sounds like a Darkstalkers game, though I'm not seeing any on PS2 in particular. Might still be worth checking into.

I remember one PC game. I don't exactly remember when but I played it in around 2002 - 2006, I am kinda certain that the game is older than that. It was probably a demo.

It is the game where I play as a person dressed in yellow suit/costume with some horizontal black lines the suit. The suit/costume is very tight.

The person fights animals in a some sort of a forest/jungle. There's one level where I enter an old castle.
The person in the game uses his fists, legs and also some stone-age weapons such as clubs for fight, he can also block. The weapons in the game differs and varies in sizes and types, bigger ones for fighting bigger animals... etc.

I also remember that every level has a boss. I remember the first boss was a gorilla!! And I beaten that gorilla with a small club.
There was another level where you're in a some sort of a big cave, and the boss was a big bear!! I remember beating that big bear using a big club. NOTE: bigger weapons takes time to fight with, like bigger clubs takes around 2 seconds to hit an enemy while smaller ones hit instantly... etc.

First time posting, looks like it ate my first attempt at replying, but there are two games i remember playing that fit that bill, depending on how old they are.

'96 had one called MissionForce: Cyberstorm, AP based iso mech game, that started you out with 3 mechs, and let you buy clones of varying quality to pilot them.

Front mission, while mostly console based did have pc entries. Is a turn based mech game with teams of 3-4 mechs throughout story chapters, though it is more turn based tactical than xcom-y I spose.

So, after searching and searching I'm starting to think I'm crazy and made this game up in my head

This was a 90s computer game. All I remember is that there was a maze. As I went through the world/maze, there was this waterfall that you could walk through and it took you underwater. Then, you could walk the maze underwater. This part of the game was almost a secret. I thought I had figured out something cool. The "waterfall" almost looked like you were walking through a wall, but I'll blame that on old graphics ha

I thought this game was 3D Dinosaur Adventure for a while, but I can't find proof that the waterfall/underwater part ever existed.

i am looking for a shooting game(multiplayer) for ps2. I only remember one map, snowy map with one jeep in the middle of the map, there was also one specific gun(sniper rifle) that was able to shoot trought walls and it has some kind of "termal scope". Characters were not only humans(i think one of the caracters had fishtank instead of head.

So back in 1999 or 2000 I played this 2D platform game for the PC on Windows 98, you were this little green guy with a plasma gun shooting others. I remember blue plasmas came out of this plasma gun.
Also the first level had a lot of trees in the background, you also had wooden bridges you could walk over.
I thought I've seen the word "Gammo" or "Gemmo" everytime I started the game, I though this was the name of the game but when I searched for it nothing can be found.

I even have a picture my father took while I played the game and I can see on the picture that there are 2 eyes located at the left-bottom corner, I don't know why though.

Cool thing is that I can still remember the whole song that was played in the background, it had some kind of flute in it.


If someone knows the name of this game I'll be so amazed.

If one of you guys/girls are really desperate to help me (which I would be glad about) I can e-mail the picture my father took while I played the game, you can clearly see the background and all.

This is an older game. I believe I've last played it in 2009-2011.

The game is simplistic, but rather complicated, as far as I remember. There's some sort of city and in the outskirts lands a cube seed of some sort. You are a little man that came upon it and have to interact with the environment to continue into the story. I don't remember much, but I very vividly remember the seed growing into a giant cube flower and you ended up going inside of it. I think the end had something to do with the city folk gathering around the odd plant.

Essentially, a cube seed that grows into a giant cubical flower and you keep interacting with it throughout the game.

If anyone knows the name of it, that would be great! This thing has been keeping me awake for a few months now >:v

the game for the ps1 that I am looking for, it starts with a weird cutscene rotating around what looks like a big greek temple above the sky and the clouds, then a number of weird shadow creatures are seen standing in the hall while being approached by a bigger shadow creature with bright red eyes, the female Main Character then shows up with her friend a blonde girl and start talking about something, if I recall it correctly the main character is a girl with black/ dark brown braided ponytail hair almost like Lara croft's hair, and she uses a sword to fight off demons and other creatures, and she uses from times to times what appears to be a flying steel/ stone dish to kill off enemies from far away, a number of times the enemies will hold hostages in front of them, and if you get too close the enemy will kill the hostage, each time you reach a mission's ending the main character will jump a high jump and for some reason she'll just give you an opened view of her rear end, and if i'm correct as well as you progress your friend will be captured and you'll have to fight off a boss that looks like a man, but after confronting him he'll turn into a beast with a goat's head if i'm right and he'll attack you from the shadows , reaching this point here my memories stop , are those hints enough ? or you still need more? btw if you use a spinning horizontal attack sometimes the girl will scream stuff like [ lolololololol]! and when you attack vertically sometimes she may scream [ hiya!!!!!] that's literally all info I can recall

can anyone tell me if they know anything about such a game?

OK NEVER MIND I WAS ABLE TO FIND THE GAME SOMEHOW IT'S CALLED XENA WARRIOR PRINCESS FOR THE PLAYSTATION 1 and there's a version for playstation 2 as well

Hello, I try to remember a game when I was 4-5 years old in like 1995-1996. It was a FPS game. I don't remember it has a menu it just starts in a corridor that is curved or l shape to right and there were 2-3 soldiers to kill in there. The corridor opens to a room that has windows with a night city view I think. On the right side there suppose to be an elevator or something like that and I couldn't pass there. I want to find this game and pass that room Maybe it was a demo or shareware that starts in a middle chapter I don't know.

OK, I will tell something more. The closer game I found is Operation Body Count but that wasn't it. The game as I remembered had some heights and skybox. So it shouldn't be wolfenstein 3d engine, it should be on something like Doom engine. Because of I was very little and couldn't pass the first room or chapter I don't remember it very much. Hope that someone can help.

My game is a sega game. It's a side scroller like Streets of Rage except it's a shooter, not a beat em up. You could choose different robots to play as, one had miniguns for hands and a wolf like head, and two more were twins but one was blue and one was red, I think. They were more to choose from but I can't remember them. Released in the 1990s, vague I know but I really can't remember.

Hello everyone! I have two games i would really love to remember the names of. Unfortunately i do not remember much but oh well i hope it will be enough:

1. First one is a platform based game. At least if i remember correctly. You were like some sort of guy who was supposed to save his girlfriend/crush or something like that. I really don't remember much about this one, i do remember however some worlds, i thi k the first world was like a forest, 2nd was something Egyptian like, third was some sort of castle and the last one was space, on a ship of sorts. I could be missing a world in between, who knows.

2. This one is a bit more important to me. I used to play it a lot. It was a top down shooter. I remember first level it wad in likr some sort of lab and you were on your own. And you had to fight some sort of aliens. You would unlock beter guns level by level. The whole game you are on your own and it was quite a bit spooky (at least to my 5 year old self).

That's about what i remember. I know it's not much but eh... I can't really tell when the games were made, i used to play them around 2004~2005 but i can tell they were quite a bit older.

Does anyone remember this kinda series-it was advertised with Lego(on lego.com and stuff), the main feature of the world was that everyone could trade body parts somehow, but there was this, like, "chosen one" who shapeshift on his own or something, I think the technique was called "Glinching" or something, it didn't last long, at least I don't remember it was around the early 2000's cause that's when I first made my Lego.com account.

Also, do you guys know of this new game: "The YAWHG"? It's a choose your own adventure game, and there's another one, I'm trying to remember... You only play as a girl-it' starts with the-"Fairy god Mother-or-whatever-type thing", and you choose when your born, then the game starts, you start in rags, essentially, and you gotta go through the city to survive-working to earn money, that kind of thing, and with enough money you can go to school, eventually the slums open up, along with a dungeon you can explore, styled like those old first-person rogue-likes, and I think there was a corruption mechanic, but I can't remember, like if you stayed in the slums to much or did too crimes/evil things?, the guy guarding the slums wouldn't let you back into the main part of the city. The name might've had "Sun" or something related in it's title, but don't rely on that.

I for the life of me can't remember the name of this game. I was a downloadable 3D cannon game where you would battle with other cannons on a set of disconnected islands. You would shoot cannonballs over at other cannons and try to destroy them. Anyone have any idea what this might be?
