Hi everyone.

I'm trying to remember the name of a game I played with my brothers in primary school (15ish years ago) on PC.
It's a board game similar to Monopoly where everyone chooses a character in a car. You drive around in an open world style board game map buying properties where natural disasters may occur damaging them. I remember one specific one was "Nessie" would come out of the lake and damage your property. Also I think it was kind of a race as well, yet also competitive to see who gets the most money.
If anyone have any ideas, would really help as I would like to play it again with my cousin's daughters when they're over, as I remembered it was quite and enjoyable.

Cheers

EDIT: I also remembered a character having a monocle and big mustache.
You managed to find the name of the game? I think I played the same game but also forget the name of it - and wanting to remember it so badly.

The Game of Life ...?

I can't remember about property damage, even by Loch Ness Monsters, but everything else fits.

I can't remember the name of this old side scroller 2D rhythm PC game. It had 3D graphics but was in 2D. A very cartoony and colorful game. You play as an alien/creature, probably an astronaut, who automatically runs (you can't stop) and there are bubbles with arrows in them and each time you get near the arrow you have to press the correct arrow and then does a dance move. Each stage has different music/soundtrack. There were bonus levels in each stage that you jump on a trampoline and there are a few seconds where you have to press as many green arrows as you can. The world hub where you choose worlds looked like a maze. That's all I can remember. I played it like 8 years ago. Thanks!
Perhaps Mevo & The Grooveriders? http://www.mobygames.com/game/windows/mevo-the-grooveriders
YES! Thank you so much!

Hi, this one may be tough, it's an arcade game I would play in Mexico ~20 years ago.
*you played level by level advancing to a "boss level". 1 or 2 player.
*your character was a little pink monster w/ black eyes who would shoot orbs to enemies covering them and making them into a ball. Once you keep shooting at the same enemy and they are trapped in a ball, You can push the ball down a few platforms and knock down all the other monsters in its path.
*once you clear the monsters you can get upgrades to the orbs you shoot to make the distance increase or cover enemies quicker.
*once you finish the level, you fly upwards to the next level.
*the boss level consists of the same. But instead of defeating the little enemies, you push the balls to hit the big monster in the middle.

Hope this makes sense in someone's head 😆

- Harder one to find here. Genesis horizontal scrolling space shooter. Lots of mechanical organic elements into the structured environment. The first stage was open space, but you'd soon get to the second stage with a tunnel like mechanical structure through an entry portal. The art of the machines were a tan beige color I think with organic nodes going through them. A very active moving background, very visually cluttered but aesthetic as well. Once you died it reset you to the beginning of the most recent level beat.
The 'mechanical organic' part reminds me of Menace, a cracking Psygnosis game, but that was never on Genesis/MegaDrive.

If it wasn't simply R-Type, there were a number of R-Type clones on the Genesis, however. Perhaps it could be one of these?
  • Atomic Robo-Kid [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0lvBrh672rs]
    Bio-Hazard Battle [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B2IgqcHC4Ms#t=8m15s]
    Gaiares [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y4P8iqyMnS0]
    Hellfire [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d-9g9TMARs0]
    Darius II [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RQ6b-aVUymc]
    Sol-Deace [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sj7Q_wmIPdU]
Thunder Force II | III | IV [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z3QQf9MY3vA#t=13m18s] (AKA "Lightening [sic] Force")
    • ...this game used to give me such headaches with its intense, brightly-coloured, fast-paced background. But it wasn't really set in space.
    Wings of Wor [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IuqJv7_p6qA#t=27m55s]
    • Also not really set in space, but it looks like the sprites, backgrounds, and 'tunnels' were ripped right out of space shooters, with the main 'ship' being replaced by some minor Greek god.
    Zero Wing
    • The 'all your base are belong to us' game

And if it's none of those, this dude [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m9i3Syhgvsg] has every shmup ever. Check 'show more' under the video for the complete list, and let us know if any of those ring a bell. Here's [http://www.gamefaqs.com/genesis/category/83-action-shooter-shoot-em-up-vertical] another list. And another [http://www.shmups.com/xenocidefiles/megadrive.html].
Okay I feel a little silly because it was R-Type, but also happy you found it for me. I had no idea there were so many sidescroll shooters. Thanks for this and the Pang! game was spot on too. You're a god. :^)

Hey Guys!

I dont remember a game that I used to play when I was child. It was around '98 or maybe 2000.
I only play with the demo version of the game. You could choose from different caracters (an ALIEN, MONKEY, KENGUROO, and I remeber to a woman or something).
In the first level you had to climb on a big building to reach the helicopter on the top. You had to race.
You could throw things to each other while you was climbing.
Thats all I remember. Thank you if you can help me!

that is the exact game that I am looking for too..
it is not Crazy Climber , it is not Rampage

but I remember one more thing about it: it doesn't only have climbing stages
it also has a stage where you have to knock out other characters from a 3D platform , a kind of ring
the game had a championship feel to it

I hope some1 here will know this game because it is making me crazy that
I do not remember anything about it and I can't find any information about it
I really hope some1 knows whhat it is
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eW1DAZbOuTk
I think its that

That reminds me of Snow Bros [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kUTR83OCWpo]. It's one of those games that spawned lots of clones, though, some of which you can read about here [http://arcademaniac.blogspot.com.br/2012/12/snow-bros-y-sus-clones.html].

Hope that helps.

Hi all,

I'm looking for a game that I've played early 2000's. Hopefully y'all can help me.

If I recall it's a browser game and played it on Cartoon Network I think. It was a rpg shooter game , a 3rd person shooter and had a sort of aerial view. I believe you had 3 characters each (vsing computer) and had armor and were either people or some sort of robot. I believe it was all mouse click. The characters would start on opposite sides of the map and you would take turns moving and had a certain amount of squares you could move. You would click the mouse to the limited square you wanted to move to. Eventually when they got close enough you could select a gun and the gun had a range as well. It would sort of spray in that direction and the characters had health bars. I believe e you could also select a shield or other weapons like a rpg or better gun but not sure on the gun part. There was definitely some sort of shield option. The map I remember playing in had a grassy field some trees and houses more towards the middle of the map. Who ever killed all 3 characters of the opposing side won the game. Oh and in the beginning you could choose which side/faction you wanted to be. Like I said I think I played it in Cartoon Network but I don't think it had anything to do with Cartoon Network and was it's own game. I could be completely wrong that I played it there. But yea this is all I remember. I hope someone can help!

Found the game, the name is Toonami IGPX Immortal Grand Prix.
It's unplayable :(

Hello everyone,

I'm looking for an old PC game that I used to play when I was young. It's a 90s-2000s game. It has isometric view like Diablo, and graphic was similar.

The playable character was an Indiana Jones-like explorer, he went through jungles and explored pyramids and tombs. He could hire black people to accompany him on his journey.

When he was in pyramids, he had to discover all sort of secrets, find hidden doors, treasures, etc. It's basically an explore/puzzle isometric RPG. While inside pyramids, he would fight mummies and different type of creatures. From what I can remember, he could also light torches inside the tombs for a better view.

The character used a rifle to fight monsters and he used a machete to cut plants in the jungle. When he was in the desert, he had a thirst metter that would go down and you had to stop in villages to replenish it.

I really loved the game and I would love to replay it, but I forgot the name. I would appreciate if someone could help me find it! Thank you in advance!

Been about 13 years or so since I've played it, so my explanation is gonna be really bad, and I hope somebody can help me out here. Anyways, in this game, you play as a kid, and I think you grow up later by getting a sword that warps you to the future or something. I believe you're underground and have to fight monsters with a sword (before you find the time machine sword) and you can put bombs down, as well. The monsters *kinda* look like somethin' out of Where the Wild Things Are, and the whole game is in third person. You also have this little fairy following around. It may or may not be Legend Of Zelda, but it was on the PS2, and I played it in 2003.

There is a game that I just cannot remember for the life of me! It was on addicting games, but I don't know if it is anymore. Its this game where you play the evil side of the realm, and you steal some babies from the good side of the realm. Fairies, knights, and elves are trying to get the babies back, and you have to protect the babies with zombies and skeletons. When you finish, you find out that the babies had been your sides the whole time, and the king of the good realm had them stolen to make them good.
