Kingdom hearts was one of my thoughts too but I looked at the game and it's not right. I think it was more of a pipe wrench than a key. I also want to say that maybe there were no subtitles.
Ohhhh... I kept reading "pipe wrench" in your original post as just "pipe", so I couldn't think of anything. =x

In that case, it's probably Dark Cloud 2 [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OWfZ-RmkfFQ], also called Dark Chronicle. =)
(My link shows the PS4 version, so some things might be a little off)

ok so the one thats stumping me the most is this... you have several factions fighting over gold sources, and each faction sets a budget for the planet/sector they want to mine each turn, then once all the budgets are set all the factions buile their bases and buy troops to man their bases/mine the gold/take over enemy bases, and you keep doing this until all the other factions are bankrupt, its a 2d side scroller with lots of weamons and mods and you can call in dropships with more troops/weapons

I 've been trying to remember the name of this game for years without success. I only every played a demo of it that came on the discussion of a ridge racer game. It was kind of a side scroller but the screen would turn with the terrain. All I remember is going into a shiny cave, collecting crystals(?,), coming out of the cave onto a tower like thing, a bunch of text and the demo ended. I don't really remember any combat to the game at all. The system was ps1. Any help is appreciated!
I bet it's Klonoa: Door To Phantomile [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9CRQycJw_do]. =)

I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR AN OLD GAME that I played on my computer for A LOOONG TIME!!!!

I remeber my dad buying a new computer in the early 2000's and it had a bunch of games already installed.
It had trials of games, you know the ones that you can only play like 5 times before they ask you to buy it.

The one im looking for is like a 3d game where you're in the sky/air. there are lots of pink clouds around and you could fall off if you missed a block.
The floor is made of blocks and you control this little pink blob looking thing, with the arrow keys. You have to make him jump on the blocks and it turns them into a gold color.
You have to turn all the blocks gold to complete the level. And i think you can make him land on blocks with cherries or cakes to power up and it has different effects on how many blocks you can change at a time.

That is all the game was, just a little pink thing that you controlled to turn all the blocks gold.
I remember a lot of pink, like it was for little girls. And blob had huge eyes! it didn't look anything like Kirby tho if anyone is wondering. and it looked 3dish.

HELP ME!!
Any clues yet, folks? I'm trying to remember this one too. The computer was some kind of Dell xps thing from the early to mid 2000s.

Different cubes in the game had different properties. Some would fall away when you jumped on them, some would cause you to slide, and some had treats like cupcakes or fruit that would give you powers (I think). I don't remember what the enemies looked like, but I know that one of the boss battles was against some kind of lightning storm. I also recall lots of stars or clouds along with lots of pink and purple. I've asked my sisters if they remember the name (we all played through dozens of levels of this thing), but they can't remember yet either.
Im looking for this game too!! Does anybody remember the name of it? I've been looking for YEARS!

Heh, you might remember "Sheltem, Guardian of Terra". Yeah, he's not a handsome fella.
Anyhoo, I think you're looking for "Might & Magic III: Isles of Terra". (This pack contains the first six games in the series. You'd want to play the third. Obviously.)

I'm really hoping someone can help me figure out the name of this game, I asked my parents and any one I know and they have no clue so I'm starting to think I imagined it all in my head. I don't remember much about it but it was an old computer disk game and it was something with a park. There was a guy and a girl who I guess were suppose to be "workers" of the park and I can remember their voices as they said "Welcome to ___ park!" In one of the little mini games, either the guy or girl would "hide" in different places of the park and you would have to find them by clicking on the right places or something. It's an old game, I played it in very early 2000s. I know it's a long shot I'm hoping someone can help me because I feel crazy!

Hey guys. There was this old 2D pc game I've played back in 2008 or something. I remember these things about the game:
-We'd play as a boy running from some other people, and to trap those people chasing us, the boy'd dissolve the road and trap the people inside those holes.
-We'd collect some tresures or somethingon our way.
-The most memorable thing was the ending when you die: They boy (I assumed he was a boy) would become and angel, he'd ascend and in the middle of the screen, he'd flip us off! Like he was mad at us for killing him or something lol.

I really wonder the name of this game. We used to play with my cousin and it's kind of a nostalgia.

The game I'm thinking of is from the early 2000's, all I remember is that it was a point and click mystery/detective game, with a drawn aesthetic.
There is one particular scene with a tree on the right and a house in the background and there is a dead squirrel that has eaten poisoned chocolate, or something specific about poisoned chocolate.
I also remember a small chubby teenager with glasses and maybe three other teenagers.

I know this is incredibly vague, but any ideas could help!

So I have this game in mind for a while that I cannot remember at all.

I used to play it on PC, when I was a kid, so I guess the game came out in 2000 +/- 5 years. It was a 2D game.

You control a small figure that jumps up and down constantly and you cannot stop, but you only can move it right and left. Your aim is to reach the end of the level in some kind of a maze. To reach the end, you have to break the boxes while jumping. The boxes were colored differently and you have to change your color in order to break the box.

The game was meant for kids I guess, or casual gamers, and I do not think it was made by a huge company, I think it is one of those small games that come in packs. I did not even have the full game, it was just a demo, but I loved it and I hope I can find it again.
Could it be Frozen Fruits [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BMCyOgjy_4c]?

Bumping my old post. I have since found the second game (it's called Monkey Brains, in case others are looking for it). I'm still searching for the first one, however.

I'm looking for two games that I remember playing with my cousins sometime around 2003. The games were in Russian, so I can't remember any names or storyline details. I can recall the games pretty vividly but I haven't been able to find any information about them, so it's possible that they are exclusive to Russia.

The first game is a side-scroller PC game where you play as an anthropomorphic wolf and try to make it to the end of the level by defeating enemies. There were about 10 different levels, each one introducing new enemies. The levels I can recall are an office of some sort, a museum, a building site where you had to jump on the scaffolding, some sort of outdoor sports arena, an amusement park with a ferris wheel you could ride on and a farm. Between each level there was a loading screen that showed how the wolf progressed to the next level, one of which was a picture of a metal fence where the bars had been bent apart and another one was of a smashed window, if I remember correctly.
The enemies I can remember are rabbits that threw apples or something at you, cobras hiding in urns at the museum, robots at the building site, rabbits with boxing gloves, horses that threw sticks or javelins at you, cats that cast magic, and ordinary chickens at the farm. The final boss was a huge purple rabbit that kept pounding the ground and could possibly summon more enemies, I remember it starting out surrounded by a horse and a cat, at least.

The second game is some sort of puzzle game where you control a bunch of monkeys (chimpanzees, I believe). The game had an intro sequence that explained the story, although I couldn't understand any of it as it was in Russian. I remember a scientist being in it as well as a creepy image of a monkey with a burning head that gave me quite a few nightmares as a kid, although the latter might have been a game over screen as well. The gameplay consisted of trying to get the monkeys to use their environment to make it to a machine that I seem to recall looking like a big head or a skull. The monkeys would then punch the machine until they either broke it or fixed it, I can't remember which one.
The gameplay elements include goats that you could ride in order to jump really high, cannons that would fire you on a circus-themed level, chickens that you could throw onto buttons to deactivate force fields, black monkeys with burning heads that would try to kill you, fireworks that you could fire across the level, pools with giant fish that would swallow you and spit you out and drains that would suck you in and transport you to a different part of the level.
The game had both a single-player and a two-player mode. In the two-player mode, player 1 would control orange monkeys and player 2 would control brown monkeys.

If someone could name either or both of these games it would be much appreciated.

I'm trying to find an old game I played between 2004-2007 (Can't narrow it down further). It was a pixelated top down game where you spawned in an office. There you had to find a key and a door to enter the next room. But the whole time there were a bunch of devils/monsters chasing you. It took place in dark environments and you were given a torch to illuminate your surroundings. You could interact with objects and collect some for yourself or to distract or slow down the devil/monster. I remember playing in rooms like office (as mentioned) and library if that helps. I also remember using objects like marbles to slow down the enemy and slippers (I don't remember a lot :p) ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED. I've been looking for months now and can't seem to find it! Would love to play that game again.

Hi everyone , I just found out this thread , and I hope you can help me finding a game that has been bugging me for so many years ,
I remember it was a demo , the ones you get from CD that you get from magazines , I only had the cd ( PC Jeux magazine , a french one ) , the cd contained a demo of star wars jedi knights : dark force II ,
So for the game , I remember you wake up next to your wife , it was in third person view , camera angles changes depend on where you are ( not in top of the player ) , the game had a possibility to change your mood with caps lock I think between two states , an angry one , and a nomal one, in the angry one , you have a possibility to scream , just like that , and there is one moment , you can wash your face , but in angry mode , you just kick the water .
Other moments is I go downstairs ( i'm somewhere I really don't know , not sure, but maybe some fantasy post apocalyptic one ) , you can like drink some boozze until you faint for a couple of minutes , and there's a place upstairs , a training area , where you can fight with weapons like swords , etc , no firearms ) , and you can turn hostile on your friends .
A moment when you leave an area , a video starts , about the games ( since it's a demo so....)
that is all I can rememeber , I'll try and contact the magazine if they know something , but I really hope someone knows the game ( I think the title have the word " sun" in it )
And thanks you very much ,
Is know this is ancient history but I would really like to know the name of this game. Played in on a demo disk in the UK. came with Destruction derby 2 on it I think...
I'd say Dark Earth (1997):

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gH0EB8kFbhs
You are spot on. Thank you very much.

hello everyone nice thread and helpful I hope someone can help me in this one,
what I remember about the game, I got it with an order from fast food restaurant, maybe 8+ years back,
- It's a PC game
- The pack was mostly white and black text for the tile and description on the back I think the background on the middle was like forest in one of the missions, the title was in top middle with bold letter maybe "Gladiator" but not sure though.
- The pack also featured the main character, a military tough guy, white man, white short sleeves T-shirt with black vest black pants and boots, and duel wielding guns.
- The story it was in future, there is a large arena (future colosseum) with spectators watch human soldiers and other 2 alien races fight and kill each other
- gameplay it was top down strategy game you control the main character (hero of you race) and some soldiers with different classes the more you kill you get points and can spawn more at different spawn points, there is different power ups you can collect around the map and use when needed, each mission you must kill your enemies and try to reach to the end to move to the next battle, after.
- after few missions you will unlock 1 of the others races and later the other one.

It almost sounds like a Q*Bert game, but I don't recall any of those that had power-ups or bosses (other than large versions of regular enemies).

While it was mostly on consoles, there have been a few pc adaptations or clones that it might be. It is a orange/pink? sorta blob like thing with big eyes, it does hop on various blocks to change their color, and the goal is to change all of them. The stages were often pink (until jumped on) and you could fall off, i think some versions did have falling blocks, and graphics were designed to give the illusion of 3d, but not sure about the rest (backgrounds, clouds, stars).

I doubt that is what you are looking for since it only meets about half the points, but maybe it will help your search. Screenshot is of a pc port, I think flash based.

Hey there

Guys, its been driving me insane..I have been looking for this game that I played in early 2000's but so far and couldn't find anything even resembling it. It was an action game from 3rd person perspective. You get choose 3 characters to play with. Big dude with a sword (I know, very specific..), a female (mage?) with two swords in each hand that looked like giant needles. You could also shoot white fireballs with them. She had a boss battle I clearly remember. It was a big dude in executioners hoodie. There was a cinematic in her campaign where the said executioner was about to chop some dudes head off using a guillotine, but the female character stopped him by throwing one of her swords(needles?) at his leg.

The third char and the one that stood out the most to me was fighter (kind of) character who had claws on his hands, kind of like wolverines. Had brown jacket and a scarf covering his mouth. Part of his gameplay was ability to crawl on walls using his claws and perform stealth attacks. His opening cinematic was him arriving to some sort of underground dock on a boat. He covers his mouth with a scarf then sneaks up on the guard and kills him by slashing his throat with his claws.

I know its a lot to process but I would really appreciate anyone's help. Thanks.
Bump?
