Hi guys theres a game thats a game thats been bugging me for years i used to play it in elementary school like 17 years ago it was a pc game not sure if it was pc or mac i believe pc though it was around the oregon trailish time too i believe and it was set in a maze of some sort with castle/stone looking walls it was first person and there was no fighting if i remember correctly i believe it was more so based around traversing through the maze (forward back left right) and finding items as weird as it sounds i kind of remember there be a rotten cheese as one of the items though that could just be my imagination. If im not mistaken it had like a wizard esque theme to some of the items as well as the story and sadly thats about all i can remember given how old it is but if anyone could help me please ive been racking my brain forever just to even remember that much

oh yea it was a dungeon crawler game if thats helps categorize a bit

Hello! I am trying to find a game for so long but with no luck.
I played the game around 1998.
platform: PC windows 98/95 or DOS running on windows
The game has top-down view and it is multiplayer up to 4 players and co-op. Also it is maze-like and cartoonish. Each player controls a wizard wearing pointy hat and robe of different colour: blue, green, purple, orange( but not sure ) the wizards can shoot the enemies that move within the same repeating routes inside the maze. the wizards shoot with their wands something like white energy ball(?) and neutralise the enemies. I am not sure if I remember correctly but when an enemy touches the a wizard then the wizard is electrocuted and you can see his skeleton and becomes dazed for a while. Also I do not have clear image of the enemies but iI think that they were something like amoebas(?)or similar shape. When all enemies were down then you can proceed to the next level. PS: the wizards and the enemies was tiny with no particular details, the maze was trying to look like dungeon or castle with bright grey colour.
thanks!

I remember a pc game with you playing as a ball (red maybe?) It was a 3d game with a 3rd person view and I think there may have been an option for first person but I'm not to sure. I remember it not being very detailed other than checkerboard textures, everything seemed quite blocky, the only real hint I remember was there were 3 difficulties: easy (maybe normal) intermediate and advanced. I also remember gravity changing and possibly puzzle involved but I'm not to sure. I didn't own the game but I remember it being from a CD and I think it may have been a sequel.

Please help me, thanks.
Neverball? Rock of Ages? Ballance? I've got some balls (1999)? Marble Blast Gold / Super? If none of those, try Googling "games like Neverball"

I'm trying to remember the name of an old PC game that I played as a kid in the 90s. Here's what I remember.

1. I believe you started off by putting your name in it was a classic kind of role play game like the early final fantasies where it was turn-based combat and you look down on them from above.
2.. I believe you could have up to five people in a battle but there was roughly 10 characters.
3. I remember a graveyard level with a tombstone Maze and I believe the island you were on was roughly skull-shaped or pyramid-shaped and can't remember which.
4. There was a desert level with a tent in it and if you went in the tent there was a grave. it would say on it here lies 'your name' here and the character would react would be like that's my name how could this be.
5. And at the end of the game and defeating the boss holding the king and queen captive you would find out that your name is Peter.

If anyone can remember the name of this video game please tell me.

Edit: I also remembered one more thing there is also a level inside a building it's kind of like a maze of boxes and at the end you find the games only healer and they join your party.

I am looking for a game. I don't remember much of it or what year is was made. I am pretty sure it was a computer game though. You played as a young boy who I believe was supposed to be the last human alive. And you're in search of this girl who is locked away in a cage. You come across alot of boss's that you end up making friends with, and you even et a robot friend who dies ((I think)) later on. Save points are done at fires and at the odd fire you sometimes run into a person who gives you stuff. One monster that as really stuck with me was this banshee like woman who had an eye in her back taht you had to slash. And one of the bosses was a little girl that you had to play hide and seek with.

Hi all,

Got a game that I honestly haven't been able to find for the past 7 years. I saw it in a game store when i was a kid - I am assuming it was maybe later 90s or 2000 era. The game was 3d, and the advertisement in the shop was a cinematic. It goes a bit like this:

It starts with a man who is having trouble sleeping, its either raining or thundering outside, he keeps tossing and turning. Some aliens or robots or something break into his house, and get to his room where he is lying on his bed wearing jeans and no shirt. They were about to kill him and he wakes up, grabs a gun under his pillow and kills the 2 aliens/robots.

He runs downstairs but there are these things everywhere. If I recall, he rescues his sister then runs outside where someone he knows drives up in a car.

That's all I remember. I'm guessing its prob a PS1 game but I am not sure. I've never played it.

Thanks all!

Trying to remember a game for the PC. My girlfriend played it in the mid 90s. It was set in a dungeon with grey bricks and torches on the walls. There were ladders you climbed up and spikes you hopped over. All the navigation was done with the arrow keys. The character was wearing some sort of white toga/caveman thing that went on one shoulder. It was kind of like going through a maze and getting to the end. It was a 2D game. Thanks in advance!

I Need help finding a game: in was on old cellphone (nokia maybe?) and you played as a Monster (an Orange Dragon maybe but I think I ai getting It wrong). There were varius fruit shaped Monsters and you could kill them shooting bubbles from your mouths. You could also Jump on these bubbles. I think there were two tipes of bubbles: the First had longer range and was useful for killing enemies the second had shorter range, stopping movement and remain in the air for some seconds before wanishing, you could step on these bubbles, using them as "stairs".If I remember correctly you could only place four or these bubbles at a time, After that you had to wait for the first bubble to vanish.

Thanks for the help :)

Hello.
Can you help me remember the old top view game?
It is top view and starts after maybe some car accident - you are a man (the police I think), you have a pistol. You are in a city. I think first puzzle was to shoot some gas tank to get on.
I think you have life bars and mana bars - later in the game you will find cards - those are spells - first is light- Then you get card with some pink laser spell -weapon. But maybe the best indicator: later in the game you are in the sunny city - there is an old man, church and the graveyard -and on the graveyard you have to solve the puzzle - get down all the gravestones with women names on it. The old man say it to you as a clue - Lay down the ladies...
Anyone? - There was theater too - lots of puzzles (and in the game generally) and cow slaughterhouse. You have just pistol all over the game -no shotguns, grenades, machineguns. And spells - on cards. I think there was QUEST in the name of game, but maybe not.
Graphically it was like Take no prisoners, maybe more colorful.
And maybe the first spell card was PUSH

Hi everyone, I remember playing this game some eight odd years ago on my old XP system. The game itself was a sideview 2D game with some 3D features.

The game takes place in space where you're in control of a UFO hitting a "ball" up towards multiple verities of aliens either just moving side to side or flying around the whole screen in patterns (much like Galaga) though I'm pretty sure if you allowed the "ball" to drop below the UFO you would lose a life. The game featured boss stages, quite a few power-ups and multiple stages with each taking place on a new planet with more stages in-between.

That's really all I can remember, would really appreciate any help with this as I've practically been rummaging through my old drives but to no luck.

No it is not. Graphic was better 2000-2006? It was like: Kings road, Zelda-Ocarina if time or League of legends. Not in details but the style of rendering - "painted or anime" - cannot find the english word.

This is an old PC Disc game which is very similar to TRINE.

Hi guys, I'm looking for a game that I played when I was young. It was a side-scrolling CD game on PC platform in the year of 2000s may be(or 1995-2000), actually I don't know about the release date of it. Just because of the graphic design doesn't look like the quality made in 21st century.

I've tried my best to remember most of the game details but I cant remember the name of it. Yeah its totally ridiculous that I remember lots of details besides the game name.

The starting animation is talking about a man was locked in a tower in the sky, a mage(maybe?) casted magic to free him.

Although the game is side-scrolling game, it looks like 2.5D. The background is 2D picture but your character and the enemies are 3D image. It is a kind of adventure game, and you have a health bar and mana bar on the top left hand corner.

In the game you can choose 3 types of character, a young man with sword, a young girl with staff and a man using two-handed axe.
I remember some of the default button which are "Z" and "X", "Z" is using a light attack and "X" is a heavy attack.
There are several types of magic you can use, fire , ice, lightning and recovery.
Each type of magic divided into 5 levels, I only remember fire and ice.

Fire L1: Single fire ball drop on a single enemy (Auto targeting to nearby enemy)
Fire L2: Fire burning on the left side of right side (depends on character facing direction)
Fire L3: Lava blast at all enemies position
Fire L4: Large explosion (Area of effect)
Fire L5: Fire from the fire phoenix (Area of effect)
Ice L1: Ice Spikes appear at a single enemy's postion (Auto targeting to nearby enemy)
Ice L2: Ice Spikes appear at all enemies' position
Ice L3: Ice wall created on the left side of right side (depends on character facing direction)
Ice L4: Ice Storm (Area of effect)
Ice L5: Ice Age (Area of effect)

And here are the stage and the boss that I try my best to remember.
Stage 1 - Forest, boss: rock golem
Stage 2 - Floor 1 , I forgot what that thing is.
Stage 3 - Below 1, boss: ice drake
Stage 4 - Below 2, boss: 2 ghost (looks like female) share 1 BOSS health bar
Stage 5 - Below 3, boss: skeleton mage(necromancer)
**And this boss I think it is a main enemy of the game because my character need to talk to him before battle.
Stage 6 - Floor 2, boss: a flying, upper body, large skeleton with both scythe-shaded hand(hand bone)
**Actually it looks like a skeleton reaper, but it is flying and only have upper body
Stage 7 - Floor 3, boss: fire drake
Stage 8 - Below 4 , I reach to the middle only.

One more thing there are 5 different BGM in the game. Each of them is used for Stage1-5 respectively. And Stage 6 use the first BGM and so on.
I just only remember the stage name and the last stage that I reached is 8.
Please help me with this, it is a memory for me and I try my best to remember the details of it.

2)There is this princess who have woken up from deep slumber and realized that most of the world had turned dark due to an unknown force. She then realize the prince(her husband) is missing along with the baby.Turns out that the witch has hypnotized him with something(an apple i think because fairy tales) Then she meets 2 companions(One is a fairy and the other should be a flying dragonor something) along the way. Before the last destination(a mimic of the princess castle) there was a lake that you needed to cross. When you reach the mimic castle everything looked like your(princess) castle, but its just dull and sinister. At the end is a boss battle on who can find things the faster.Once you win,the two companions will take the baby home but the witch turns you into stone.

Thanks in advance
I doubt you're still looking, but I just happened upon this thread via google, so just in case: I'm pretty sure #2 is Barbie as Rapunzel.

Mainly looking for two old PC games, the third one is a Hail Mary that I'm not expecting anyone to know the answer to.

The first was some sort of point-and-click game, that I think also had minigames interspersed. You were in some kind of space station (or maybe inside a computer?) that had an outbreak of these virus-looking blob things, and had to scroll your view left or right to change rooms to looks for janitorial-type supplies to kill them with. You won once you cleared out the blobs from every room on the station. You had no avatar, and all the characters would just speak directly to you the player. By memory, the game was called something like "Rescue -NAME OF THE STATION- -NUMBER OF THE STATION-", and was some kind of kids edutainment game, but I can't for the life of me remember the name of the station.

The second was a puzzle game where you played as a furry purple orb with big eyes and legs, kinda like Q-bert but without the snout. The game was top-down, used pre-rendered 3D graphics, and the maps were tile based. Iirc the goal of each stage was to move around and collect all the pickups, and each stage would have hazards such as lasers and bombs. Prior to spawning your little purple dude, you'd have an inventory of items such as laser-reflecting mirrors that you could place around the map to block off or re-position hazards, so the puzzle aspect was to place your items in the correct places so as to make the stage winnable, as if you didn't place anything there'd always be at least one pickup that would be unreachable due to the hazards.

The third game is a Breakout clone in the same vein as Ricochet Xtreme. Like Ricochet it used pre-rendered 3D graphics, and I distinctly remember that the powerups looked like cylinders that rolled down towards the paddle, and that one of them had a yellow smiley face texture. That's about all I can remember about it, unfortunately.

Huge thanks in advance if anyone happens to know the name of even one of these!

Cartoonish/cartoony art style? Handcrafted/handmade look? Western fantasy style?

I remember playing a ps1 game, I'm not sure it's dual game type wherein the other game could be chocobo dungeon, it's regarding a guy/knight with a long broad sword that i guess you can change weapons as well and you go this dungeon to get quest items, it reminds me alot of vagrant story but i think the game i played was much more simpler, the only thing that could help would be the fact that you can go back and forth the entrance of a dungeon and do some fetch quests on npcs, there's also a prison thingy if you violate something, it's really addictive as well, i'm not sure if it's a demo as well

I posted earlier and no one answered, but I found the song that played constantly in the game I can't remember the name of! I tried searching the song itself, but it's royalty free music that has apparently been used a LOT. None of the games that came up seemed to match. The song was this:

From what I remember of the game, it was this old browser game, either free browser game or free download, kind of steampunk-ish setting, I think had a single word title with either a mis- or un- prefix? Anyway, it had rpg elements with stats, with parts of text with choices with skill checks and other sections in a 3d maze, I think randomly generated, with enemies to get through? The maze sections looked really old-school. Like the old Windows 95 maze screensaver. I want to say your character had an aunt that was involved with the plot, but I'm not sure.
