In searching for the following early 90's arcade game, this thread is the end of the line so thank you for starting it.
So, I don't recall the exact year but it was just after the super nintendo was released. There was a game in our local arcade that I've been trying to find for 18 years now. The game was set in a multi-story house, it was almost a live action type look sort of like old Mortal Kombat. The view was split screen like you were switching between different security cameras of all the rooms in the house. I remember there was like party going on with different people moving all throughout the rooms in the house and at one point, when everybody had gone to one room in the house, I saw on one of the security cams, a bunch of burglars, dressed in black, sneaking into the house with guns. I didn't understand what in the world was going on, the burglars seized the house and I had lost the game.

That's all the info I remember, I was 7 or 8 at the time.
Thank you for taking the time to help us track down our childhood memories, I can finally look forward to closure on this. Good luck!
Sounds a heck of a lot like Night Trap. I never heard of it being an arcade game though.

I am trying to figure out the name of an old 80's or 90's pc game. What I can remember is that the little guy looked like a caveman and you had to run through different levels. You had to collect bananas and apple's for him to eat. There was multiple levels and I want to say at the end of one level he was in a volcano. It was a side scrolling game. If you can help figure this out I would really appreciate it.
Chuck Rock?

Hey.. i have been trying to find this old game i used to play on a sega console (fairly sure was sega), it was an rpg styled game and throughout the game you found creatures that you could choose to give you different abilities (a limit of 2 at a time).. i remember this well as there was a part that you had to save a kid with a clue given about sand with no footprints, so to wake him you had to select the creature that enabled you to jump or jump further/higher, and another that gave you a speed boost sorta ability.. cheers in advance
This is definitely Soleil / Crusader of Centy / Ragnacenty. A great little game, even if it was a shameless Zelda 3 copycat!

Hi. I am looking for a car game which I played like a child (7-8 years ago) and I totally remember a lot of tracks and cars but not the name . I remember that there were different kind of races - for time , driving on a tiny road and etc. The tracks are like Hot Wheels' . I remember that the cars were low and were not normal like BMW , Audi ... I remember that most of the tracks were in the space (maybe all, not sure) , sometimes it was blue , another times red . The game is 3D and is 3rd person view. I can remember that there were tracks that you started from high and you were getting speed for a jump and you should jump to another path and so on ... Best I can remember is the tracks that were challenging and were not for racing , you sohuld have gone trought them fast sometimes . I am not sure if there were any rockets that speeded you up on the jumps . Wish that was enough information. The game was nearly made in 2000 probaby, not sure. I really want to play that game :) Thanks in advance :)
There was a Dreamcast game called San Francisco Rush 2049 (sometimes shortened to just Rush 2049) and I remember finding alternate routes and making insane jumps was a big part of the game... could that be it?

Hello Everyone,

Okay, I am like the rest here. I only made this account just for this game :D. The problem is, I don't really remember much information ._. . Anyway, I used to play it on windows 98 or XP, but most likely 98.

Here is what I remember:
I think the objective of the game was to clear levels. You used to play with a small yellow character, can't remember the shape, but I think it was like a ball or an egg. You used props in the level to help you clear it. I also remember a propeller hat being one of those props. You could also construct your own levels if I am not mistaken.

^Sorry for the shallow information, but that's all what I remember. And of course, I remember it was amazing :D .
You're not thinking of Marble Blast, or am I barking up the wrong tree?

There was an RPG PC game where you had cards that were monsters that you played against the monsters you found in the world. It turn based. One card I remember was a queen bee that could spawn other bees. You wandered around revealing the "fog of war" in the isometric top from an angel view, until battle where you saw zoomed into the battle field with your cards displayed on the bottom and could select what one to play to have it replace from your deck.. you could find places to trade your cards in and could buy new ones. Since I never finished it I do not know if the end goal was to kill off the opponent Dragons (the hardest enemy avatars) but I think that was it. you were asked to go on quests and were given cards or coin after you completed the mission.

Thank you, but unfortunately that is not it. You are not playing with a ball, just a ball-shaped character. I am sorry I can't provide much information, the memories of this game are just too faint. It was in 2D, not 3D, a front view. The only remarkable thing about this game is the propeller hat (or a jetpack). Even if I don't find it, I appreciate your time and help. I am still looking for it myself everywhere.

It also seems to me it looked like the cities you encountered were more like walls with gates that you could enter from one place then once you'd done your quests, leaving and returning to the city from the same entrance, you could finaly leave from the other exit.

Hey, I don't know if anybody remembers this game, but it was really fun ! I remember you could choose from a lot of characters, one I think had a chainsaw, one I know had a crossbow and a trench coat and one was a Jester (You could choose either a green or red outfit for him) and I remember the guy with the crossbow had a zombie storyline, or maybe it was the chainsaw guy, and then the Jester was in a graveyard. I also remember a girl, with akimbo handguns. I remember seeing the sequel to it on the back of a GameInformer magazine. If you could reply or send me an email at [email protected] or tweet me @iblackbeltXD that would be great :) thanks in advance

I remember it also being on either the original Xbox or the DreamCast (the only two game systems we had) or possibly the PS1 or PS2

I'm trying to remember an old CD-ROM game, it was a 3d Tank shooter but the tank you controlled was basically a turret rolling around on a ball. And you'd go around and collect cores. I can't remember if that's exactly what the goal was. The only thing I remember for sure is the tank.

Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Okay I remember playing this game like 3 years ago? i was playing with my brother, but seems i keep on beating him the game cause it's kind of hard to play when you're not that matured or what its called. It's a game like worms platform. but instead of worms, it's like you are a commander and can make buildings, turrets and stuff. you can send planes, boats, soldiers, even a UFO to your enemy. it has 2 player feature , that's the best of it. It is a really fun game please help me. ohh and btw, it's just a small game that you can download on pc. like 50mb?

a game on the SNES that was 2 players. One was a woman the other a guy. One or both had whips (potentially made of light).
Could be Run Saber, it ticks all your boxes.
I could link pure gameplay but watching the grumps play it is more entertaining.
Oh my god, thank you soooo much! That is the game! :D As soon as they dropped into the scene I recognised it. You have no idea how long I've been trying to find that. Thank you ~

That sounds like Fine Artist, or one of the other art/word processing programs in that series.

I don't think my post took. I will try this again. I apologize in advance if it double posts. I remember this game where you were controlling like a tribe of people. You were wandering, I think. And you spent a lot of time looking at a map. You could assign your people to be like hunters or gatherers, or, I think, other things as well. If they were gatherers and you sent them out, you would get a brief video of them gathering berries from a bush and if they were hunters, you would get a brief video of them like spearing a pig or cow or something, I don't remember the animal. It was probably in like the early 90s. For years I thought it was Lemmings 2: The Tribes (and thought how weird it was that it wasn't like a lemmings game at all) but I am unsure why I thought that. For years now I have had no idea what this game is, and it is driving me nuts. Any ideas?
