Ok so the intro of the game starts off with a man runing through a forest or something and hes thinking about his wife and kid but once he gets to the edge of a cliff where he can see his hometown a bomb hits it and blows it all to hell... Then u get in a plane and fly around dropping bombs and shooting down planes... When u got to the edge of the map u would bounce off back into the map kind of like a ball hitting the wall. Please if anyone knows this game I would very much appreciate it. It was for the pc I remember playing it in the 90s

old game my cousin lent me, it was probably inside a videogame magazine from italy, con cd-rom, played it on pentium 166, turn based rpg with isometric visual very similar to final fantasy tactics, more western than jap-rpg but still with square based grid, you impersonated some guy (probably a prince) on a journey, followed by a girl and a weapon master or something similar and maybe other friends, the game was almost only about subsequent battles, very similar to battle for wesnoth in this. I took my nickname from what I thought it was the game's title(and the main character's name): Drorian about 12 years ago but in all these years I haven't been able to find out anything about this game.
You think it could've been an italian only developer? I don't even remember if the game was in english...

You're probably thinking of Ty the Tasmanian Tiger. For what it's worth, he looks like a kangaroo.
Thats the one , thanks

The second game was one I used to play on my Uncle's computer. I hardly ever got the chance to play it, but I remember loving it because it was so different from other games I played. You played as a pill-bug/rolley-polley or something like that, and your main enemies were ants I think. When you died, it would show you in a cage above what looked like lava (or on a small circular platform with a tiny lava moat around it), and an army of ants surrounding you as if cheering. The game was 3D like many N64 games were, and I think you went around collecting keys and such. I think it was played in third-person most of the time.
Is it possible that it's the game 'Bug!'? Buddy of mine had it when I was young, and you picked up coins and keys and jumped on ants' heads.

so there waz this game i would play on ps1 wen i waz very young, you can choose a character, nd it starts wit a blimp crashing and then your stranded and theres monsters and you need to find a key to open gates. also the weapon u have shoots like plasma balls and its different colors like blue, red etc. one can be fire another can be like ice or something like that. and theres bats flying around nd u can kill dem but they can hurt u nd if u see a monster u needa kill it. its a very creepy game for PS1 u could be a girl or a guy. u can climb up things or jump over huge gaps and u hang on da border of da other side of da gap until u climb up. please i really wana know da name of it! its all dark nd scary. i think da monsters can shoot u bak bcuz they got guns but like wit plasma balls. the game starts wit a blimp dat crashes down or i think its shot down by the monsters. PLEASE HELP! i need to kno!!!
I remember the same game as well! I liked it a LOT! all I can remember is that some gates were locked and you needed keys, bats usually waited on the ground or on ceilings and jumped at you, damaging you (I think a heartbeat sound played at that moment) if you didn't shoot them (they used to scare me a lot) and you had lots of weapons, futuristic weapons, like plasma guns and other stuff. It was 2D if I recall correctly. It was either on PS1 or PC. Very old, it was at least from the 90s or older. The atmosphere of the game was pretty gloomy. I also googled and found that it might have been a metroid game but I doubt it, just like you said, the game had gates that required keys and the game also had like... 9, 10 or 11 weapons if I recall correctly. The weapon list were shown at the top or at the bottom of the screen, I forgot where exactly.
I registered just to tell you this, I've tried to remember it for years and it really pains me not remembering the name!

Trying to remember the name of a game (duh!)

Platform: Apple - downloaded on an I-touch but hoping there is an android option.

Fantasy setting with different races that get unlocked as you go. Each race has 6 or 7 troop types. each troop type has a variable refresh rate based on power level so you can pump out a lot of low power troops or fewer more powerful troops. There are 5 of 6 lanes running left to right. You drop the troop selection of your choice into the lane of your choice. The enemy AI is doing the same from the right side and the troops meet in the middle and battle. If my troops make it to the right side they damage the enemy and if his make it to the left side they damage me. I remember an undead race with skelatons w/swords, a couple of different human and elf races....

There is a quick play and a campaign. As you beat certain races you unlock the ability to play those races. I had a lot of fun with it and think my son would like it. Any ideas?

(Edit: I last remember playing the game about 3 to 4 years ago)

I really need help to find name of a game from PS1. I'm searching it for days and still couldn't find it.

That game's camera angle was like Resident Evil games. I guess we were a cop or something like that. And we had a partner beside us. We could choose our partner. And i think two men were holding guns towards each other end of the intro.

I'm about to going crazy while searching this game. :( Please help!

I'm trying to remember an old PC game. It came out in the 90's for the PC around 1998. It was a space related game where you flew a 2D ship in a map collecting icons and fighting other ships at times. It was unique in that the levels were your directories in your PC and the icons you collected were those icons. You could call the ambulance which was this black orb with an orange streak which would repair your ship and a place where you could buy upgrades using the icons. There was your normal guns and then special weapons like the fireball, homing missiles, batteries even.

It was on the PC Guide Editor Choice Arcade Games disk.

Found this through copious internet searching, and I can only hope someone's played the same obscure game I have.

This is a game I played back in the early-mid '90s on an old Compaq (the system was Windows 95, possibly earlier). It was a simple adventure game with very basic graphics and no sense of perspective.

The MC was some manner of jungle explorer. The game starts out with him and a woman, who gets bit by a spider pretty quickly. The point of the game is to collect items in order to heal her. I recall having to cross a river at some point, but the main plot point I remember is the cannibals! I can't remember if you were doomed to be captured or if 5-year-old me was just doomed to failure, but the jungle explorer gets captured by cannibals and has to escape his cage before being thrown in the pot (old school racism at its best). If you're successful at collecting the items and getting back to the woman in time, the game ends with you saving her life and a helicopter appearing to take her to a hospital.

I *believe* the game came with the system (my family didn't have an internet connection, so it wasn't downloaded, and I know it wasn't bought). I played it around 1995/1996.

Hopefully someone has encountered this game!

Ok, I've been searching for a game on and off for a few years now. Its an old school game, I believe it was for the Sega Genesis, but, it may be for NES or SNES. Anyways, there's only a couple things I can remember about the game. It had a RPG style to it. There was an overworld or world map, much like in Final Fantasy. But, (although I don't remember exactly), I'm pretty sure the world map was the only "top-down" view, I think each location had a side scroll view to it. Actually, now that I think about it, I'd say it's like a cross between Final Fantasy and Zelda II, though somewhat more modern, because I believe there was a gun for a weapon. I know there was at least some sort of technology in the game. The last thing I remember is one specific location. When you went to it, it had the side scroll view, and there was like this lake of lava. I remember you couldn't pass this area unless you had some type of suit or armor. Though I can't remember if you had to buy it at a shop or if you had to get it in some other manner.
I do believe at some point, either in a sort of help or system message, or from one of the NPC's, you were told what you needed in order to get through the lava; possibly a sign you had to read.

Any ideas?

There are 3 games that I've been trying to find for some time. at least 2 of the games should be pre 20's

1. PS1 turn based RPG. I remember a particular part of the game where you would have your party in a miner's wagon and sliding down a hillside, having to solve combinations at certain places on your way down so the mining wagon would'nt fall off the rail. And a bossfight at the bottom near a gate where one of the characters aquired a dragon/mecha form. Should be quite early in the game. Something else that comes to mind is that you had to swap CD's a lot. There was this forest nearby where you could run across 3+ CD's in a short amount of time and back again.
It's not legend of dragoon cause I've seen through the a walktrhough and I couldn't find that part in particular. I also mean that it looked better cause I had a chance to compare it with Final Fantasy X at the time and remembering that I was amazed that a so much older game could nearly match it. It's not final fantasy either if I'm mixing somehow because I presistently remember wings on all the characters.
I know you said it's not legend of dragoon, BUT, it sounds VERY similar. AND, although you may have looked through a walkthrough, there is a particular point in the game where you're in a cart, and you have to solve a puzzle while riding it.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LZkMRguq_fo

Skip to about 4:40, that's where the cart ride starts, see if that rings any bells...

Im looking for a PC game from the late or midd 90s, not sure.
I cant seem to remember the name of it or the plot that good. (was watching my cusin play it).
But it was with a baby that was going to some milk factory, you had to make sure that the baby came "safe" through diffrent stages. Through the living room, make sure it didnt go into dangerous traps, through the kitchen and backyard and so on. Can also remember a sound you often could hear, sounded like a dumpster closing or opening when you went from one room to the next.

hope it rings a bell in someones mind :D

Usually i solve my own old game riddles with google but this time i turn to you guys.

I think it either was a demo of a game or a too powerfull game for our computer back then that i only know the first few parts of it and its setup.

Its a racing game in which you can knock out the competition with mines (positive), oil and guns (less positive).
I remember the game has a bridge in the beginning you have to jump over using a giant spring attached to the base of your car. (Failing to do so is game over)
It has a cartoonish setting.
Each car is different, with a distinct character per type of car. (Character i always chose was in a futuristic looking race tenue with blue helmet i believe)
I played it around '95 on the old 486 or pentium 1, (DOS/Win95)

Anyone have a clue?

It's not that robinson crusoe wannabe game is it?
Cartoon-ish very very round character, intro starts with him on a yatch. A storm hits and you wake up on a beach where you among else collects a plank, stone and crab to take with you.
After completing the objectives on the island you fly off in a hot air ballon...

I'm trying to find this game I used to play when I was 5. I faintly remember it but I remember it was a lot of fun. It was a birds eye view/ 3rd person shooter. The main character was in a dark outfit. I remember the game would start on top of a semi-truck and you would jump down and kill anything and everything. There were various locations with different monsters/animals/people. I remember the sewers had monster with laser guns. There was also a part where there was an electrified train, but thats all I can remember. HELPPPPP (I think i had a demo version but still) it was from the 90s

Im looking for:
- this was 'mini game' in about 1999
- opened in win 95 or 98
- 2D RTS in window
- you played as 1 vs comp, and vs another comp and another comp (ffa)
- you are some kind of 'king'
- you start in U-shaped castle, that contain "king"
- all actions are done automatically
- you can set 'tax rate'
- more tax rate mean more money, less tax rate mean more units
- there are about 4 races, each about each map.
- first map was fight of knights
- second map was fight of mages
- third or second was fight of robots or fast foods
- by fast foods i mean: hamburger race vs hot-dogs race vs fries-race....
- you can order units to deal some actions, like barricade (on map) or repair bridge (on 'water')
- this game was about 199x-2001
- units are S (small), M (medium) or L (large)
- each 'unit' has 2 animations, where he step right leg, or left leg
- whole game was about: you start game, units are building houses, from houses spawn more units, they chop trees, build more houses etc. ofc you can order to chop some trees or build house there
