First one is a 2d top down pc game I believe wins 98. Where your character collects materials to "craft" them into weapons like leather strap plus rock equals dagger and you can change out the materials to make better weapons. You could also been in walk, crouch or laying down mode as you explored. You could also tell your guy to attack the arms legs body or head.
Evil Islands?

Okay, a first person shooter where you play as some sort of million-dollar-man style bionic commando with cybernetic enhancements.

The main character's arms would have veins that glow blue, I think he worked for some sort of military organization.

There were a lot of enemies with EMP-based weaponry that could screw up your HUD if you got hit.

All weapons had secondary fire.

That's literally all I remember about this game, but I'd like to know what the fuck it was, since my lack of recollection of it has been bothering me.

I recall playing it on a PS2-era console. In fact it was probably a PS2, but I can't remember with certainty.

Hey been trying to remember the name for this game for years now, it's a ps1 game and all I remember is you wake up in a hospital or something like that and you have a headache eventually they get more intense headaches and I'm pretty sure you get powers involving telekinesis or electricity? Also It was third person and the main character was wearing white clothes. Any help would be greatly appreciated
Might be Second Sight.

The game you are reffering do is Snowblind, heck of a good game.

Also I am looking for an old timey RPG game, where you end up in an underground prison area in the future and such after doing a job as a hacker/detective guy. It worked like system shock, but had more emphesis on melee weapons and some sort of crafting if I remember correctly.

Hello fellas,

I've got one that's nagging at me whenever I think about it.

The game I played is described as follows:
- Played it in 2002 - PC
- Sci-fi/futuristic genre
- First-person perspective, shooter/war
- You play as a pilot of a hovering craft (notice I wrote hovering, this isn't a space-flight simulator - it was on the ground, on earth I don't know) with two other wingmen (AI). In the first mission, you get deployed to some sort of mining facility, that is under attack.
- in this game, you have the ability to get out/in of your hovercraft.

That's about all I remember. It would be great if anyone recognizes what I described.

Sounds very much like Battlezone (the 1998 version) or its sequel. Great games by the way!
THAT WAS IT! Thank you thank you thank you! I officially love you bro!! (no homo :p )
You totally made my day! :D

The game I can't remember is a computer strategy rts I use to play as a kid, you built an area to build units which when the units killed enemy units they slowly gained gold armor. The final unit was a dragon depending the people you were. It had all sorts of random units like warcraft 3. I've been trying to think of this game for awhile now, if someone could help I would appreciate it. Thanks!
Still in search to figure out which game this is if anyone could help me out.

Hi, it may have already been asked about, but I really don't want to go back through over 200 pages to find out.

When I was a kid (early 90s), we had a really oooooold fashioned computer. Like it basically did nothing. However, the only reason I remember it was because it had this one game on it that I played EVERY day. But for the life of me I can't remember the name of it, and no one ever knows what I'm talking about.

The game I think came with the computer, so it wasn't on a disk or downloadable. It was just there.

The game was very similar to the board game Clue. In that you were a detective trying to solve a murder in a house, where there are a bunch of suspects. The differences are that the murderer keeps killing people until there is no one left but you if you don't figure out who the murderer was, meaning you lose, and that the "house" has 2 or 3 floors with multiple rooms where you have to solve the murder. It's a one-player game that you can finish in anywhere from 10 minutes to a half hour, but I was addicted. From the time I got home from school until supper time I would play this game.

Can someone help?

Oh! Thank you very much, I think that's the one.

According to wikipedia it was going to be a Deus Ex sequel... huh. Interesting. I think I should want to try this title out again, after all these years.

Hiya,

Brilliant thread, just found it on the net!

Can someone help me find the name of a game please.

It was on the PC I believe when I was a child in the 90's.
You controlled a submarine and could upgrade it etc (I think you could buy torpedoes etc).
It wasn't a side scroller so I think it was 3rd person?

I think the submarine was tiny as I seem to remember a giant foot that was in the middle of the map (like a childs foot).
Bit fuzzy on the details as it was a long time ago and it was only a demo but I always wanted to buy the game.

Thanks guys.

Okay. I remember playing a game on one of these sites notdoppler, kongregate or playedonline and it was a game of an old man moving blocks in his path to cover up holes with spikes to get to the end. Anyone know the name of it? I love that game and have been searching on and off for a while now. It's stuck in my head. Thanks.

Hey guys I would be really grateful if you help me find this game which I used to play like 10 years ago.I will try to give you as much info as I can.First of all what I remember is that it was an rpg (I think it was 16bit from the 90s ported to pc and had Japanese art or something) where you controlled some red guy with a sword. He had an ability to turn into some sort of demon when in combat. Also I remember a white-haired villain. One level took place in a desert and the other one on a grassy mountain, like in the middle of the game you meet a robot in some kind of town( It was surrounded by water...Im pretty sure ) Sorry, but thats all.Maybe something will pop in your heads, if you can remember anything, simillar game to this write it anyway! Thanks:)

EDIT: What I forgot to say is that when you were fighting monsters you took turns and could choose your attack.

cloroxbb, do you know what game I speak of? It's sliding stones over holes with spikes to get to the other side of the path. It's off an old man, if I remember correctly.

Hello, I am in need of some serious help remembering a game I used to play years ago!

Ok so I dont know when this game came out but I was playing it around 2002-2006 or so give or take a couple years earlier. The game was a sort of Norse, Scandinavian theme sort of viking but it didnt focus on anything but resource collecting and building a town. Like you could name your little villagers and assign them jobs and such, a bunch of different buildings and jobs were available to. It was a free (maybe?) downloadable game that had surprisingly good graphics. Hmm, it was like a mix of playing Warcraft and A Kingdom for Keflings (except without your giant avatar) from xbox if you've ever played that. Oh and also it had sort of a Sim's feel to it because you could start families and name the kids and go through a ton of generations.

Anyways if you know it please let me know! Im dying to play it again it was so awesome! Thanks

Just noticed someone already answered you, never mind.
