Looking for an old ps1 game its a sidescrolling action game. You can play as either a boy or girl. In the game you fight robots with alot of different guns while running through maps like a battlefield, jungle, desert and a huge tunnel. One of the bosses is a huge tank/train. It would really be awsome if anyone could help me out :)
Are you sure it wasn't Gunstar Heroes? It was playable on the SEGA Genesis, GBA, PS2, PSP, PS3 but not PS1
Seems like it´s called rapid reload (Gunners heaven) but thanks for the help :)

Hey im new and i need some help to find a game , been searching for a while and this is the closest i got to finding it, its a "mining game" and its multiplayer i was so young so i dont remember much except we could buy TNT or something and we would blow up the whole map ive found many other games, vga mining was the one that looked most like it, prob. around that time then. We would play it on the same computer. Not so helpful but if i dont find it maybe some of you would? just the fact that it is multiplayer and that old is something, by the way im not sure if it was mining for gold or just a "sandbox" game .. in fact i have no idea if there was any goal, maybe kill each other? haha :)

Hey

I am looking for a game I played some years ago on PC. It was a military game. And you had a village you were gonna build up, with gold mines, barracks to produce people (soldiers) and other buildings like that, just like in a village. When you were ready, you could attack an enemy village with your soldiers. You could steal their gold and destroy his houses.
I dont remember what the name of this game is, but i think it is an old rts game. I guess you can compare it to "clash of clasns" but just on Pc, and much older.

I am very happy for any replies. Thanks!
Hey, could you be thinking of the original settlers?
Nope, sorry. I am pretty sure the game I am looking for isnt online, you are just playing against the computer.
Thanks!

OK, I've been wondering about this for years.

It is a Super Mario game, without a menu, and without music. You just spawn in a green world and you continue doing the levels until you reach the final castle. After that, the game continues at the first level again, but the world seems to get more and more corrupted (I really don't remember what happened after completing the game once) and it continues on and on and on.

I remember playing this game in 1st grade at school, in 2004-2005. I've been wondering what game this was for years, it'd be cool to play it again. I also remember that my aunt had it on her old PC back in the day... I'm really wondering what it was named. Please help! Thanks!

Hmm...that sounds like Eversion, but I'm not sure if that game was released in the mid-00s.

I think you needed to kill your oponent with misles or somethink like that.

If you got any ideas about what i am talking please write down you'r guess, i will look all of them.

I know I played it about 1 year around from 1994-2001

It was something close to that I think. The first level had you start in a town or city, you could either continue to the right or enter a building you pass, defeat some monsters inside of it, and the owner and his daughter would thank you and upgrade your weapons.

Hello guys, new here, glad that something like this exists. :)

I have one that's been driving me crazy. I think it had a generic sort of name, maybe Quest or something similar. Played it on a PC very long time ago. I remember it being very rudimentary, top down, 2D and character was represented by only a head that you can move around, I also remember the enemies being just heads too, like a skeleton skull type of thing... You went around through, I'm guessing randomly, generated levels, beat on monsters, collected loot and that's about it, as far as my memory serves. I googled all types of names, and strings of words, looked at any amount of old game images but no luck... Hope someone played this and remembers the name...

Looking for an old crime based game that definitely had 90's graphics. You were a little graphic man in a big city that had stores, car buying places, etc etc. I found it odd that you could kidnap kids and then sell them to a restaurant for money as slave labor...It was disturbing.

When you robbed a store you had to go through this maze to avoid the police. My friend gave it to me on a CD or something.
For the record I found it. Game is called Crime Fighter.

Hi guys, trying to remember a game i played back in the 90's. It was on the PC and on a CD. The game features two brothers, one dressed in blue and the other in red. You controlled the blue one while the computer controls the red one. It's a puzzle game, with all sort of challenges, I remember there being a battleship, and peg solitaire being one. The point of the game is to collect clues of the princess' location throughout various points on the map. I think the blue brother's name stated with a H and the other brother started with a P (I keep thinking its Hogi and Pogi). If anyone knows the name of this game, I would greatly appreciate it!

That definitely sounds like a 'Roguelike', although I can't think of any of those games that illustrates just the heads of the enemies.

Still, that might be the subgenre/term you need to find the game.

I've been looking for one for absolute ages! I played it on a very, very old PC when I was still a very small me. The main interface was actually an explorer's journal, you flipped through the pages and completed puzzles on them... Some of the puzzles I remember were putting together an old flying machine out of various parts like a puzzle, guiding a caterpillar through a maze so it could chew a code in to a leaf, collecting various pictures like a hermit crab out of its shell (it had been living inside of a tape recorder, which you needed to record the voice of a parrot), playing solitaire in a dark cave to retrieve a set of gems, building a paddleboat and sailing it down the river avoiding arrows, and numerous others. I swear there were two games I had from the same series, and one of them focused on helping a small lizard escape from an island. The whole time, you were guided by the voice of the male explorer whose journal you were working in. I NEED to find this game! I've lost sleep over this thing!

I've been trying to remember this one for ages. I remember it had something to do with jewels, and I think stealing them but I'm not sure. Played it on PC, late 90s/early 2000s. Top-Down, 2D, tile-based puzzle game. I know there were blocks that could block (pun not intended, but convenient) your path that were yellow and circular, and the player and other special elements of the level were also represented by colored geometric figures.

Hi guys,

I too have registered on this forum (even though I often browse Escapist) to find some help in a game I can't remember.
The trick is, because it was a Japanese Family Computer tv game with all the titles in Japanese, I'd have no way of knowing what the name of it was, but if anyone could suggest some possible names, I'll look them up and let you know.

So it was a Japanese (or Asian, I'm not sure) Family Computer game. It was an adventure platform game with bright summery colors ala Adventure Island - blue skies, green trees etc. The only defining thing I can remember about it off the top of my head to differentiate it was that there were these weird pink bubble things with eyes that would kill you if you touched them. They almost looked like pink speech bubbles with eyes but they were evil. Lol
Also, the picture on the cartridge was of young kids flying up towards the viewer basically, I think.

That's all I got. Anyone have a clue?

Hi again guys, doesn't really no one know mine? You can't imagine how a person can't be this desperate from not knowing the name of a game like me, lol. :(

Here are hints from my original post.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I remember it was a gameplay trailer, or more it felt like a technological demo, showing off an engine without any HUD (ammo, health etc). I think I saw it between years 2006-2007. It was a First Person Shooter set in some sandy town which felt like Egypt, Turkey or Iraq, the place where it was happening looked like this - http://bit.ly/1btublC ... you know this kind of a building structure, I also remember that there was a little sandstorm going through that place, enemies were all over the place - on roofs, on balconies, in alleys, enemies were also wearing this on head - http://bit.ly/1d1D1xO ... person which you controlled could lean over objects, was holding and shooting from a weapon which looked like FN-FAL - http://bit.ly/1cvMngh or HK21 - http://bit.ly/1hL3YaZ ... at least I think, and in a background was playing some kind of an orchestral Arabian/Turkish felt-like music. I don't even know if that game was released or cancelled, or if it was just some kind of a technological demo, and I also don't know for what platforms it was made for. Can't remember more.

I'm fairly sure that's Command and Conquer Generals, (http://bit.ly/Ih8Cx3), or it's expansion Generals: Zero Hour (http://bit.ly/Ih8E8e). Zero Hour is my favorite C&C game, but there are others, the only other most similar to that is C&C 3: Tiberium Wars, in the sense that it has the same playstyle in a different command and conquer Universe (there are 3, bit.ly/Ih8P3n). The old games (Command and Conquer, and Red Alert) are hardly worth playing, but the "Isometric" ones (Red Alert 2 and Tiberian Sun) are quite playable and challenging yet fun. I didn't mention any expansions, but they've all got ups and downs. I'm kindof an expert on C&C, PM me if you want more information or want to play together!

The game i'm trying to find was on Ps1. All i can remember about it is that the main character is blonde and fights are random encounters where you can only move left and right on a single line. You level up and learn new skills as you go. I could of swore it started with a "C" but i havn't found it looking though lists. Hope someone knows what i'm talking about.

I have a game I used to play on my mac back in the mid 90's... You move a paddle just like in breakout, except you can move it pretty much anywhere on the field with your mouse and the ball is attached to it with a wire. I played only a demo, but I remember it being in a sandy universe; the bricks you break would crumble into dust. You would also get different power ups, like the ball circling around faster or doing more damage. I always thought the name of the game was Bolo, but I searched hard for it and no success. I looked at all the games on the macgarden site and it's not there.

Help me with this please, I know someone will know this game!!!

Edit: I found it http://theodor.lauppert.ws/games/bolo-dos.htm It is really Bolo, I found this picture, but I have no idea where to find the game, so if anyone finds one please share :)

I can't remember what its called but I think it came out in the late 90s or early 2000s, it was a top down game where you played as what I think was a human in some kind of room where certain parts of the floor are certain colours but you can only go on to other colours with a brick that has both colours in what I think was a diagonal line, and you had to collect something that I think opened a door. It was on pc but thats all I can remember, please help me, I've been wanting to replay the game for ages but I can't remember it and its killing me!!
