Hello guys,
I'm looking for a pc game that had strategy and rpg elements - you could control a group of units or control just one unit at a time. The unit you played with advanced through missions, for example you'd start as a regular foot soldier, then move on to the more armored one/better armed one, then the cavalry, and so on. There were three races you could've played as (you started with one and then when you complete all your missions with it you move on to the next race): humans (with the final stage of the unit being some sort of a spectral ghost angel white floating thing), demons and...well, I think it was something mechanical. It was 3d, but relatively bad 3d (it's rather old I think, I've played it a minimum of 6 years ago and by then it was already outdated. I remember it having some story elements, and being quite interesting to play. There's three scenes I distinctly remember:
1. With the human race, near a farm or a ranch in a sort of a forest, and the friendly cavalry is coming, at which time I believe your unit levels up and you can be cavalry as well
2. With the human race again, I believe it was a final human level, when you were in an abandoned city at night or in a dark fog, where your character finally transforms into an angel after you complete some sort of a mission
3. With the demon race (I think), the sole beginning of the campaign when you're just a tiny goblin or something like that and you're running alongside these dozens of other tiny goblins over an arid landscape with some kind of stone bridges and red dirt. I think there may have been a couple of insults too.
I'd be really thankful if anybody could point me in the right direction, this has been bugging me for awhile.
