Hey all. I was wondering if any of you remember playing an old pc game I think it was, that was a matching game. If you picked the wrong one it would make a sound. I think you had to match animals like elephants for example. I can't figure out which game it is and it's driving me crazy. Does anyone know even vaguely what I'm talking about, any help would be appreciated.

Hello.
There is this one game I remember playing many years ago that I can't remember the name of.

-It's a Real-Time strategy PC game. I remember the building being Asian.
You had to make villagers/workers to gather resources.

-From the start you had this giant wall protecting you and if you went south outside the screen you ended up on some "other" place where there were a lot of small villages you could take over to gain stuff.

-I also remember being some statues without heads being scattered around where you could find the heads and bring them back to get stuff.

-Also, there was this building (Think it was a temple) where you could spawn "heroes" that are stronger.

-I also remember 2 siege units. 1 was like this big mobile ladder to climb walls. The other was firing kites that your units could use to get to places at a certain distance.

This one is similar but the one I'm talking about is more like a memory game I think (I might be wrong I barely remember the game). So when you flip over the square and you don't match two right animals then there is a sound. I think the squares were wooden like. MAybe it was an aol game maybe or a windows xp game?

Hey everyone, I'd like to help you find the name of the games you played so long ago but I didn't play very many. It's so frustrating when one keeps coming back to your memory all the time. Anyways this game was an adventure game in the 1990s. One of those click and point types and was set in a chinese or japanese empire, I think it was chinese. All I can remember is the start of game begins with news the emperor has been killed and you have to uncover the murder I'd assume. This could be off another game but I remember you can go into a tent to rest, time passes and it is either then day or night. That's all I got lol

i have a very bad memory but here goes...

i do remember finishing the game, but i don't really remember what the ending was. :p

-i remember that it was an rpg ps1 game.
-your charter was male.
-you wake up and you can roam around the house/hovel.
-i remember that the game was very long and it was kind of a puzzle/maze type of game.
- i think you were maybe a mechanic or an engineer.
- i remember passing through a desert maybe or like a canyon or maybe a mining town. To pass through the town or place, people would ask you for something like find the oil, then give it to this guy and the guy gives you a wrench so you can fix the thing that is blocking the exit to the town...something like that.
- i also remember passing through a fairy town...to pass through that place you had to race on a ladybug/beetle i think and you had to win.

sorry this was all I can remember not even sure if what remember is 100% correct, but i hope someone played this game. ^^

I think the game you're talking about is Technomage. Or is this the wrong one? Here's a video of the bug race, let me know if this is it.

Try to think about the game.

Was there a narrator? What did he/she sound like?
What was the viewpoint?
Was this on PC? Did you need a CD-ROM in order to play it?
What types of vehicles did you build? Construction vehicles? Cars?
What was the purpose of the game?

Ask the questions and you'll find your answer.

Hello guys. I made this profile, just to get your help!
I need help finding an old childhood game, for my windows pc. I played it around 90-99.

It's a pirate game, i think it was on a cd called "games for windows 97" or something..

It's turnbased - you controll different pirates, with unique roles such as - The digger, the fighter, the runner and so on.

You played against the computer and their colour was red, and yours were blue.

The mood was tense, and when you ran around the map, controling your charecters, a "black mist" disapeared, as you controled your folk.

I really need your help on this one, because it's been killing me for the last year!
I hope you guys can help me out.... that's almost all i remember.

Sorry, I mean what specific words have you been using to look for this game?

I found it in about...five seconds lol
My search terms were: "windows 98 games pirate turn based red blue" and it was the first hit.

Richard Carr's Pirate Battles.

Here's an image:

Digger - - Fighter - -Runner - - Scout - Swordsman

Incredibly, he still sells the game [http://www.carrsoft.com/pb/index.html]. He also sells a "professional" version, here [http://www.carrsoft.com/pb/purchase.html].

I'm searching for a few games which were released somewhere between 1999-2004
1. A game where you play as a woman, who gets teleported to this fairy land where dwarf-like-humanoids live. You wander around and fight and catch fairies in balls. The fairies were of different elements and could evolve. The overall theme of the game was a bit dark.
2. A real-time strategy where you have ants, or butterflies/moths (who have a ranged plasma-ball attack, I think) or other insects as your minions and want to destroy the other players hive.
3. A game which reminds me very much of Diablo. But the characters were a bit different, however still a warrior, sorcerrer and I remember the rogue was an elven archer in green. You played in a dungeon. Much else I don't remember.
4. Another real-time strategy, you had three different races to choose from. One ancient light/dark pyramide building one, one robotic and the other alien. This game is quite new though, about 2010 or smth. like that.

Any ideas :D?

I think this one may be ZanZarah: The Hidden Portal [http://static4.gamespot.com/uploads/original/mig/0/1/8/6/470186-z_001.jpg]. And now I want to play this game.

Can you please, take your time, and provide more information you might remember about the other games? Were these all for PC? And were they all install/disc-based games? Or were some of them browser-based? These are the types of details that are essential to finding your games.

Amazing, thank you :)! It's so funny seeing the graphics now, I thought they looked way better than, haha.
Yeah, they're all PC games. I remember playing them as demos, so all were install ones.

I remember playing an old game about breaking into a big house/mansion as an assassin and killing guards and you had a bow and arrow which you could get a blue head/ice head and red head/fire head on the arrows and kill guards with them and you failed if guards knew you were there. Also you started off outside with 2 guards talking to each other by a big door and a lit up mansion and you had to go to the left to climb up, over some stuff through a window please help? IT IS NOT ASSASSINS CREED please anyone with an idea of what it was called or know what it was called please message me it was also a CD ONLY FOR pc game (I THINK) not off a website and only single player I believe.
