Castlevania, maybe? It's an old NES game, but was released on the Game Boy Advance about ten years ago. The first boss in that game is a giant bat, but you use a whip, not a sword. Maybe you mistook one for the other?
Nope, not Castlevania. When I say knight it's literal, medieval armor and all
Not sure then. If you're talking about the original Game Boy, I just dug up this game called "Knight Quest" from 1992 by searching for "gameboy games knight character". I also found what I'm assuming is a screenshot from the game, which I'll link for you to check: http://coolrom.com/screenshots/gbc/Knight%20Quest%20(2).jpg

I mean there's no bat in the photo, but it's a Game Boy game with a little sword-wielding knight character.

Hey folks,

Looking for an old strategy game. There were 4 races I think. Humans, some kind of devil skeleton race, raptors and some sort of butterfly race. You would gather apples with your workers, build base and troops like in any type of strategy game. You could also kill neutral dinosaurs to gather experience and level up your troops. At max level your troops would get really strong and could pretty much take enemy base on their own. You could also build some sort of wooden airships at late game. Thats pretty much all i can remember about the game. If anyone can help me remember the name of this game that would be FANTASTIC!! Thx alot guys

Hello!!

It's been irking me for the past few days. Does anyone remember this game and do you know the name of it? It was a game from Scholastic. A PC game where you had to put a DVD into your computer and download it I believe. Your character is a vampire. A female vampire and I believe she had black and white tights on and black hair put into pig tails? I might be wrong there. She is stuck in her castle and she wants to escape. I don't remember exact details besides a part where there is this guy in all black floating above a boat that is in water. He holds up oars shaped like a cross so your character can't get passed. I was never able to get passed it and I forgot it. The beginning of the game was a scene of your character when she was younger and I remember it was of how she became a vampire??

If anyone remembers this game, I'd greatly appreciate it if you told me the name.

Hello,
I'm asking for an old coin-op, same age more or less of Tower of Doom;
You are a warrior and have to fight through a lot (90+) of levels inside a castle, collecting treasures, with a boss at the end of each; i remember clearly the first level where you were outside of said castle, and fighting through you could free an amazoness or a orc from their cages and they would follow and help you out. On other levels there were other npc as companions, as well as a thief who could open locked boxes

Thanks for your help :)

I am looking for an old pc small game, maybe a time management game, not sure, was a long time ago, you see the small planet in front of you and you rotate the the small planet and build small buildings on it, very small ships can come and land at the buildings and that is how you get money to upgrade buildings or buy new buildings. Any help would be appreciated!. Thanks

Hi, I'm trying to remember an old computer game that I used to play as a kid. It would have been sometime in the mid 90's.
I think the game was just something that my dad downloaded off of the internet. There was a karate or kung fu guy that stood on a pedestal in the middle of a room and balls of different colors and sizes were thrown at him from all directions and you had to use the arrow keys to punch them before they hit you. The guy started out with just wearing pants I think, then after each level you got another belt or part of the karate/kung fu uniform. I remember that in the very last level, instead of balls being thrown at you, all 9 planets were thrown at you as well as asteroids.

I know that it is a long shot, but does anyone remember this game?

Nope. Checked that way too. Much bigger knight. In a castle too, not like a forest, plain or something

Blonde character..point and click..back alley. I can only think of "Broken Sword" but the box art doesn't really match.

Hey guys, hopefully someone will remember this one, my google skills have given me nothing. The game is an early 90's survival horror style game, the graphics are in the "Alone in the dark" polygon style. I cant recall if it was the Amiga or the PC I played this on. The game sees you making your way through a village and the main "badguy" seems to be a wolfman who at one point ties you up and hangs you from the ceiling. Only other thing I can remember is that there was a lady in lake at some point.

If anyone can help me track this down I would be really grateful

No idea if this has been mentioned or not but this game has been driving me nuts!

It was the mid 90s, around 1996-1998. This was on PC. The game was about picking out parts and building your own monster / creature and then testing him out in Minigames. There was a Dojo fighting one, a few platformers, I think one where you fed it random garbage and it grew? I dont 100% remember everything.

There was a mad scientist who was the narrator throughout the game and would chime in with witty 90s comments and one of the enemies was a giant pink blob that had the name "Mojo Jojo" or maybe just Mojo but it was something really close to that. And I cant remember for the life of me what the game is called! I dont have it any more, it disappeared quite some time ago, but maybe someone here could help me?

Please can somebody help remembering a game's name.
Played it in '98-'99 on a PC. It was a quest. Maybe it was a detective story. It had some badly digitized photorealism to it. Maybe one could choose from several main heroes. Maybe one of the heroes could turn into a bat. Maybe one of the scenes was a robbed shop with debris of wrecked stuff in it.

hello, can any one help me.

there is this old game I have played once or twice, I cannot remember what it is called but I would remember it if I saw the box. Okay the game is a car game that I think can be classed as an RPG but I'm not to sure, it has long motorways, towns and many places to visit in a large open world that is similar to the wold size of the old GTA's. your view is at the back of a car looking over it in third person, and the graphics are cartoony. it is a PS1/PS2 game but it could have been on more platforms, i think that it is from about 00' but it could be later. also you could upgrade and change your car by talking to other cars, completing objectives and taking part in races. I also think that it might be choro q or pennyracers but it could be another game and thats why im here. thanks for any help.

Hey, guys. I can tell you a lot of details about the particular game I'm looking for.

You controlled a single spaceship starting on a single planet. You had to pilot your ship to land on other nearby planets to colonize them. Once you did, the nearest planet would send things to build it up. However, you weren't alone. Three other space pilots were doing the same thing. In order to colonize an enemy planet, you would have to attack the defenses built on it first and then land on it before it was rebuilt. The game didn't end until only one captain had any planets left, and getting killed caused you to respawn on the nearest friendly planet. The graphics were really simple (most of the buildings on a planet consisted of player color-coded squares and rectangles with a single solid square showing who it belonged to for a newly captured planet). Controls can easily be described as the same as Asteroids.

I also remember it being really easy to lose control if you got too close to the sun though that should be a given.

I have been looking for this game for, and I'm not exaggerating on this, the last ten years and counting. I've been wanting to play it for so long, and every day the itch only gets worse. I hope that someone can get me a name.

{Edit}

After a bit of searching, I noticed someone asked for the same game I was asking, but he never got an answer. It's got more details than mine, so I'll put it here too.

Old PC Spaceship game name?

This game looks a lot like "Spacezero" in a sense that it had a black background with "stars", green outline of planets and a 2D feel. You start off with your ship on your planet, which was indicated by a square in the center of the planet with the same colour as your ship. The planet was surrounded by one or two Defense Towers, which also had the same colour as your ship somewhere on it.

The objective of the game was to conquer surrounding unmarked planets (without a coloured square of anykind) by landing on them for a short period of time, then your colour of square would appear in the center of the planet, which then would cause a Defense Tower to leave your home planet and travel to the new planet for protection against others who could try to conquer it.
You could, however, destroy and conquer other already "conquered" planets by destroying all the Defense Towers and landing on said planet, causing the square in the center to change to a new colour, corresponding to the new spaceship that landed on it.
Same thing goes for wandering Defense Towers, if you aimed right at the tip, I believe, you could conquer said Tower...or blow it up completely.

To win the game you had to destroy all other players, which meant for you to destroy all planets and Defense Towers of that colour so there would be no chance for them to re-spawn.

I believe there could be about 4 players in total, possibly manual or computer operated.

Im pretty sure to is not "escape velocity" or "naev", because the game was made just with lines like "asteroids" but they resemble to this game, just is older than them

Any suggestions and/or links would be very appreciated, I've been wondering this for a while now. Thanks in advance!

I remember playing a game that i believe to be an rpg but im not sure, you played as a young male character i believe and you start out in a grassy field are I believe it was with someone helping you "train" or teaching you the game. Once you complete the training a cut scene plays where a monster magically appears out of nowhere and its not supposed to be there. the monster opens up some door or portal something and it leads you and the person that was training you into a strange dungeon. inside the dungeon you witness this monster kill the person that was training you and your character passes out. the only other thing i remember is you appear in some town with a dock, some ships, and water inside of it. I thought it might be a final fantasy game but i cant seem to find it. It's driving me nuts, i think it was either a ps1 or ps2 game. if anyone could please help me find out what game this is i'd be in your debt.
