I'm looking for a PC game, it was some sort of adventure game. The plot is something like this: some kid from Chicago is forced to live on his grandfather's farm with his bloodhound Blue. His grandfather is making a cake for some important event, but he forgot something and has to run out. While hes gone your dog of course eats the cake and you spend the rest of the game looking for things to make a new cake.

First time I'm writing here, just because of this thread :)

Ok, the game I'm looking for is an RPG game, could even be a JRPG. I remember it was a top-down dungeon crawler game, but you also could move around freely in the world.

The main player's goal I think was to find his amazing (demon?) armor and sword, and he also had some companions.

I remember the game was quite funny, and at times quite sexual. Might have been released in the 90s. I think there was demons in the game, and cat-people in a village of their own. There was also some art-work shown when the story progressed.

I realize that's not much to go on, but I've been trying to find the game for years, and I don't remember that much about it.

EDIT: Nevermind, I actually found it. Knights of Xentar. :D

I played this game almost a decade ago on the computer (Mac), so it was either late 90's or early 00's, and it was from what I remember some learning game where you would use this time traveling bicycle (like a stationary one) in a treehouse, and you would explore different historical areas, I remember exploring around a Mayan temple. Any ideas?
If it was a learning game it was probably a Learning Company title, list of their games: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Learning_Company
Not exactly, I don't think it was a major company learning game, I get the feeling it was a little more independent than that. I remember it having a Myst-like exploration feel to it, if that makes sense

hello everyone :)

I'm looking for a game I used to play in my childhood, it's been at least 10 years since ive last played it. Due to the long period of time, my memory might play tricks on me... so incase a few details of my description dont quite fit the picture of the game you think it is, please just post anyways :)

The graphics were too good for it being a dos game, but it surely is pre 2000.
I remember it being a post apocalyptic rpg 2d game.
No typical dungeon game, it was more like an open world where you could go from village to village in a turn based system.
You could pick up or craft items - food and (possibly water) being the most important ones.
The overall style was turn based, as in days going by and travelling from village to village, but at the actual places you moved around to talk to people, gather food etc
Most of the people were mutants as far as I remember.
I dont remember much about actual enemys or the goal of the game, but I think the goal was pretty much surviving in its own.

I remember playing it alot as a kid, I'd love to see it again.

any help is appreciated :)

no, it's something else. Wasteland is too old, fallout might have come out around the same time. The graphics were somewhat like that.

thanks for the help anyways

This is going to be so vague that my brain might pop if someone actually manages to know what I'm talking about. There's two games in particular I'm trying to remember but I was younger than 10 when I played them so my memory of them is a little hazy.

One was an overhead, but at an angle, shooter. You went through levels and usually returned to the starting point to fight the boss after you cleared the rest of the level. There were four playable characters the main one of whom could send his eagle or hawk or something like that to scout ahead. The second level of the game was the junkyard as I recall. Might have been the third but I'm fairly certain you completed the first level and went to the junkyard after. I played it on the Sega Genesis if my memory serves.

The second game is even more vague. It's side scroller in which you play a man who progressively gets better and better powered armor as the game goes on. I think he starts off with no powered armor and by the very end, you fight someone in something like the same powered armor but he's evil. (That's probably wrong). I don't recall much else except that I think the second or third level or so has you standing on a mobile platform that traveled on a rail and you would jump to make it go up and duck to make it go down. Side to side was just turning.

It was bugging me recently that I couldn't think of these so if anyone can help, I'd greatly appreciate it but given how weirdly vague or incorrectly specific these are, I won't be surprised if not. Thanks.

There is an autoscrolling shooter i use to play.. It kind of looks like Firepower 2000 but instead of ships it is people you control. I think it switches from horizontal and vertical movement but is always a overhead view. The first boss of the game is a giant green monster/ monster robot, to kill it you have to shoot limbs until they break off. the monster has purple blood and you kill it with different powerups you get all throughout levels. You end up shooting off his head. If anybody has the slightest clue of what this game is called please he

Looking for a game that I only played from demo cartridge of a sega genesis system, basically what I recall is that its a side scrolling aircraft shooter, depending on how you choose to mount ur attachments as you get them ( either top or bottum) gave the weapon a different shooting angle or ability, the first level started u out in like a city setting , where at the end you kill a big robotic ship boss, the second level was like an old highway like dessert setting, an you fight a big green robotic frog looking boss that launches missles, It came on the same cartridge as blaster ( lil red dude with a blaster gun you could charge an shoot a big red ball) .......back on topic tho this game has a similar look to eliminate down but with no ability to control a humonoid.......very intense game an would love to figure out the name, any help would be great...thank you

Perhaps you fellows can help me with something that's been bugging me for a while. I remember playing a game on the computer some time in the 90's, it was definitely after '93, if that helps. Anyways, from what I remember, this game took place in a campsite, and had several minigames you could play, one of them being a Mad Libs type of game, another one a hedge maze. And if I recall correctly, which I probably am not, but that's what you guys are here for, eh? Then the game also had a bear. That's pretty much all I remember. Sorry for few details, don't really have the best memory :p

Ok im looking for 90's game. There was 2 brothers who smashed stuff on junkyard (i think they where red and blue), boxes, bathtubs and lots of other things. You could buy new hammers do breake things faster. There was even coop mode. It was 2d side scrolling game. Any idea what this cool item smashing game was? I had it on some cd what my friend bought from russia streets (yes it was piracy) and it has lots of games. I even remember that the cd had password so you could install the game and the password was tornado :D Still cant remember the games name :D

about year 1995 there was a game i used to play in playstation console. thr main character has red hair and thr gameplay is like super mario bros where you have to step on the enemy to kill them.

along the road you can get egg that will follow you around and you can collect up to three. those egg can help to step the enemy. but if you knocked by the enemy, the eggs will be scattered and you have to chase them around or they could die fall of the cliff or something.

besides that you need to collect the stars too. at the end of the level, the stars can be shared to the eggs and when they have get enough stars, they can hatch to some animals depend on the egg colors.

i remember there is a boss level with tractor form. the graphic is in 2D. and you just walk horizontally like super mario bros or megaman. does anyone know the title please?i

Got a touch one here, because so far no one has been able to figure out what I am talking about. :/ I'd really like to find it again, because it was a beautiful game.

I've been searching for a while for an older game, I believe it was Japanese (which is why I can't find it) but translated into english. It was for playstation 2, and it is a turn based strategy RPG. The characters fought with "Ring Weapons", rings that became a weapon based on the soul of a wearer. The main playable character, or hero, fought with a large broadsword and had a case of amnesia. I remember it as being very wlel thought out, having many, multiple endings depending on which party members you were able to save, what you said to them, who you romanced, etc etc. If anyone could tell me what the name of this game is, I would much appreciate it.
Nobody has a clue about this one? I've asked on many diferent forums, I've asked a ton of people i know irl, no one seems to have heard of it or know what it is,k and I've spent several hours a day over the cours eof last week googling random search terms trying to stumble upon it accidently. Does anyone have a clue what this might be...?

I have two that I can't remember they are both for a computer/pc game. First one involves a side scroller style game play with heroes that use swords or magic to attack enemies... in one of the cut scenes to advance to the next level the heroes have to get on the back of a giant moving island that is actually a turtle! The second computer game is and educational game that uses math to solve problems but takes place in a cold type environment you use a character to move around and you can go around the village collecting crystals or diamonds...in one of the futuristic city environment you get up on a ledge that goes invisible and if you are not in the right spot you will fall off the invisible ledge. If you can get the names to these two computer games that would be great.

There was one for the PS2, it included a Ninja dressed in purple-black, and you lost your memory or something. You were hunting for stones to regain your memories, and you had the choice of who to serve.

Okay I have been going kinda crazy the last couple hours because I remembered a game but have no idea what it's called or what system I used to play it on. I used to have a nintendo 64, pc, atari(not sure which one) and a ps1 so maybe that helps narrow it down some or something. Maybe it's not eve on one of those idek.

Okay so the game was like an artillery strategy turn by turn game with what I think was a black stick figure that either held a cannon or a gun depending on the range of the opponent. The game was pretty straightforward and kind of bland graphics wise but not as horrible graphically as Scorched Earth. It was just sky, sand, 2 guys (I think there could be more)and wind, I think. Wow I suck at this. Anyways it was turn by turn like I said, I'd take a turn to try to make a shot that'd hit the opponent on rocky sand colored terrain and then my sister would do the same and so on and so forth until one of us died and a little grave would show. Come to think of it now, there was probably more than 2 guys then. but they were all staggered, some higher some lower. Me and my sister's strategy was to blow them into a hole they couldnt get out of and then blast them till they died. The graphics like I said were pretty simple, when the blast would explode depending on the damage it'd be a red pixelated circle getting bigger and then getting smaller. I tried to draw a picture I think anyone that's ever played it would understand from the picture but I'm no artist and I have no idea if it'll help. (pic.twitter.com/z11R1skMGs)Hopefully someone remembers it :D
