Hi Everyone, one more try! I have 3 games from my childhood I often remember.
1. I think this was on the Commodore or the Amiga maybe. I'm guessing mid to late 80s. You were in a vehicle on some world that was used as a testing grounds for alien devices or something. You'd go around looking for various alien devices and try to equip them in your vehicle I think. I have vague images of a conveyor belt that the items would come into your vehicle. Maybe some sort of robot that would grab them. I remember that you couldn't always equip devices, like there were energy requirements or other requirements. Like certain technologies were incompatible with others. This was first person, 3D environment or whatever passed for 3D back then. You never left the vehicle.
2. This is an arcade game in maybe the late 80s or early 90s. Side-scroller, although I don't think the screen scrolled. You flew a little bomber plane trying to sink ships. I believe you did so by diving down at the ships. I recall you controlled your plane by doing loops. I remember just looping around and around trying to get the right dive approach.
3. Another arcade game. This was definitely around '89-'91 that I played it. It was a side-scroller shooter. You flew a helicopter or maybe it was a ship. There were a number of different upgrades you could get that would attach to the helicopter/ship allowing you to shoot down instead of just forward, maybe some homing missiles or something, etc. I remember it being slightly futuristic setting.
For some reason these three pop into my head now and then and I just can't remember what they were called! I know that 3rd one ate up a lot of my quarters but I remember playing for quite a while on each quarter.
Thanks!
