I remember playing an arcade game at the local bowling alley when I was a kid. You were in the center of the screen and could not move. You could shoot in 4 directions only and ships would fly around in circles around you . If you did not shoot them, they would crash into you. Does anyone remember what the title to this is. I played it in the 80s.
Please state the nature of the med--er, sorry, I've been thinking of Voyager after watching that Minecraft video.

Can you describe the game any further? Your ship was completely stationary? Are you sure it wasn't Vanguard?

The ship I believe was a square in the centre of the screen and was stationary. You could move the gun in only 4 directions. The space ships would circle around you in waves with a mother ship at the end of the level

I posted on this thread about a year and a half ago; looking for a game I played early in my childhood. I still have not found the game. I'd like to thank those who have replied to my post and I also want to add an update. I found a game that is strikingly similar but is still not the game. Designosaurus. The game I've been looking for "looks" graphics and menu-option-wise just like the game I was looking for, but does not play like it. The one I've been looking for is more like an RTS, similar to Warcraft or Command & Conquer. You have a base of some sort that produces eggs that hatch into your units. The enemy is either aliens or strange looking monsters (I was like, 6 years old at the time) this game is from the NES/SNES era, give or take a couple years. I played it on an emulater my dad had on his computer. Hopefully with the extra bit of information I've given, this wonderful group of gamers will be able to help me in my search. Any suggestions are much appreciated!

I can barely remember this one from the 1990's (a DOS) game:
A space combat game as commander of a capital ship - you could fire and issue various commands (maybe activate different battle stations? Damage control, etc). You could also give orders to other ships in your squadron, but the captains would operate according to their own personalities (one was really brave, another a coward who usually ran away, etc). I thought about this game for the first time in years last night and I can't for the life of me remember what it was called. I'm pretty sure it existed. Thanks to anyone who can re-assure me that I'm not insane.

Alright this has been driving me crazy for many years.

2D space game where you control one ship and a home planet. You go to other places to mine and upgrade your ship, think you had to buy fuel as well, can eventually control multiple planets, and also fight a few other empires. I remember being able to use nuclear weapons and chemical/biological weapons on planets. Balance between saving your planets and killing the enemies. Could be from 1995-200, I suspect late 90s at the latest. Didn't use DOS, remember using it on a windows UI.

UI was I think very similar to http://img2.brothergames.com/screenshots/softimage/w/world_supremacy-289227-1253154806.jpeg (Space Empires 3), but not it.

Maybe one of you could help me out, would be eternally grateful.

My girlfriend is trying to remember a game she says was on the original Playstation. Apparently, there were monster type characters that had a single wheel/tire in place of their feet. The object of the game was to roll around everywhere, including the ceiling and walls, to collect CDs. She says she also remembers one of the monsters being green and having crazy looking hair. She remembers one of the levels being in a silver room. She recalls it being sidescrolling. It's possible that it was on SNES, but she says she's 85-90 percent sure it was Playstation.
Bump for answers hopefully.

I remember this game where you were a dinosaur running around trying to collect eggs. I believe it was a pc game. Possibly 2000. I think the dinosaur was a gilasaurus.
Trog perhaps?

I see people getting help finding their long-lost games here, so I'll give it a shot as well..

It was a fantasy tower defence game. Ahead of it's time, probably a 90's game. It took place in the sky, where you had to build "roads" to connect to islands with resources, build towers, cut off enemy roads ect. It had a lot of different towers, and I THINK there were different factions you could play as. Factions being different elements like air, water, etc. but they might have been named differently. I remember words like storm, sun, wind. And you could progress in the game and get better towers as you won games, but I can't remember the specifics of that mechanic.

Oh yeah, it was a PvP game. Can't recall playing it single player very much.

Would be amazing to find it again.

EDIT: (PC game)

Hey guys,

I am looking for an DOS game even though I played it early old windows 98/95, that I used to play in late 90s .

The game consisted in defending your castle from several attacks. Game difficulty consisted in levels, the higher u were, the most difficult it was (obviously).

I think each level you had to buy new army (always inside castle). So, new castle, new army and new attackers each level.
When attackers appeared on screen they were trying to enter inside castle and you were supposed to have a lot of archers to avoid it.
I am not sure if u could buy horses or sword foot soldiers to protect from inside.
Oh, I have a remote idea of having water surronding the castle, so attackers were forced to cross one moving bridge/platform towards the castle.

Special notes:
It was a top-down perspective. Medieval environment. No multiple players. No attacking mode, just defending castle.
In my remote memory, the name Dracula rings the bell somehow but I am not sure about its name...

I will be 4ever appreciated if you know it! I am not native english speaker. Hope you understand everything.

Bye fellows

Hello, I'm looking for an old PC game I used to play a lot as kid, I remember that in its name there was "Odyssey" or something similar.

The game is a 2D platform, you play as a yellow upside down-stretchy "U" thing and in order to get past tight/narrow areas, you had to hold down the down arrow key and that guy "squeezes" and you could get past, also in some other areas you had to stretch.

The overall world was kinda blueish with random things over there and over there, some enemies that could get killed by stomping (not actually sure about that, but there were enemies) and overall cool sound effects and music.

The game was probably a Windows 95/98 one, for OBVIOUS reasons there are some titles I exclude due to Google searches I previously did:

- Oddworld: Abe's Oddyssee
- Odyssey: The Search for Ulysses

Good luck and I hope you guys can really help me out, I've asked anywhere and this is my latest hope !!!

Hi, I'm looking for an old game I used to play in the 90's, its intro reminds me of Hansel and Gretel, the witch captures one of the kids, the other one flees only after getting turned into a ladybug by the witch.

You play as the ladybug crawling around in the witch's dungeon(?) and you pick up potions on the way which turn you into different kind of animals.
(It's a platform game.)

Any ideas? Thanks in advance, I've been looking for it everywhere.

Hello, I'm looking for a very old game for the PC that I played in the 90's I think. My whole family loved it, but I can't remember anything specific enough about it.
I think it was part of a CD-Rom with lots of different games to choose from - but this was the one we all played.

You play as a person in armor (I think you can pick up different/better kinds along your journey, same with weapons) and I remember it looking like a little pixel girl with red hair. The background I remember is mostly grey, I think you enter dungeons/castles and try to generally loot/fight the monsters. I remember getting killed by ants. I think it had lines of text someplace on the screen when things happened. It was very pixelated, and I think you moved with the arrow keys rather than a mouse, but I was really little when we played it.

I can't remember much more than that, really. I don't remember the name or if it had music, or what the plot was supposed to be, if any.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

Maybe I can get some help here. My details are fairly vague but maybe just maybe.

The game begins with the character waking up in a destroyed cargo bay and youve got a time limit to get inside the spacw ship before you die, of course the timer isnt visible. Upon entering the ship you can see it is all smashed up but from what we dont know. You wonder around and find a sort of command station that allows you to prioritize what needs to be fixed on the ship like like support and defenses and the like. Its graphics are resident evil like. I am fairly sure its a ps1 game.

I remeber it was so difficult that I never was able to play for more then an hour at a time before I died because life support never fot repaired even though it was set as a top priority. Maybe someone knows.

EDIT: update, it came to me all of a sudden it is called Sentient
