Old Games you remember playing but can't remember the name of.

Hi all. I can only describe the first level and certain details i clearly remember from the game. It was a point and click game. I think it started near a river which had a little bridge over it and near the bridge was a bicycle. At a distance you can see an old house with a tower sort of like this you could go into the tower and find dusty paperwork in it. http://et.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pilt:Muminkoland.JPG The house also had a basement in which you could find fuse box and near the fusebox was a table that had tinderbox on it you could take. Behind the house was a sandbox in which you would find ?keys? if im correct. And near the kitchen was a storage room that had a metal stove in it. There was also an old rotary dial phone on the wall near the stove. And an old man was sitting next to the kitchen table with a pipe talking something. Thats all i can remember Would like to play it again for the nostalgic feel.

Last night when I was sleeping, i suddenly woke up in the middle of the night and remembered a game I playen 10-12 years ago(approx)

It's a game where you drive around in small green vehicles in a kinda-like insect world, against AI in other similar cars, and you can get weapons, upgrades and stuff. you can fall into small black holes in the ground and end up talking to a Giant green larvae, that called you a "young pod" he sendt you out on missions i think.
Also remembered that you could collect something as "currency", no idea what that was.....

anyone got any idea at all what I'm talking about? or should I start seeing a shrink?

Hi everybody, I'm trying to find a SEGA Genesis (Mega Drive) game that I would guess was released sometime around 1993-1996.

I have gone through literally every one of the 915 games Wikipedia has listed as being released on the Genesis.

It was a platformer with colorful graphics and a sort of cartoonish style. I remember one level in particular and it had either a waterfall or a big ladder on one side of the screen but other than that I cannot find this game for the life of me. Anybody have any clues?

Hello, I'm looking for an old PC game I used to play a lot as kid, I remember that in its name there was "Odyssey" or something similar.

The game is a 2D platform, you play as a yellow upside down-stretchy "U" thing and in order to get past tight/narrow areas, you had to hold down the down arrow key and that guy "squeezes" and you could get past, also in some other areas you had to stretch.

The overall world was kinda blueish with random things over there and over there, some enemies that could get killed by stomping (not actually sure about that, but there were enemies) and overall cool sound effects and music.

The game was probably a Windows 95/98 one, for OBVIOUS reasons there are some titles I exclude due to Google searches I previously did:

- Oddworld: Abe's Oddyssee
- Odyssey: The Search for Ulysses

Here's mine, I would love it if somebody could help me. It's from my childhood, and I have euphoric memories of it.

It's basically a 2D RPG where your character uses spears as a weapon and has blonde spiky hair. It's not turn-based, as far as I remember, and if my memory serves me correctly it takes place on Earth, featuring battles with a ghostly Queen Mary and a scene in the Gobi Desert. It's a fantasy game, and I can't specifically remember if it took place on Earth, but I also remember a part in the game where you're in the Savannah, too.

If anybody could help, I would be extremely grateful.

may as well post again: This one isnt gonna be easy but if you guys can work it out i will be eternally in your debt i dont have much information and the information i do have is sketchy at best.. ANYWAY it must have been release in the 90s it was a top down hack and slash sort of i remember at the end of the game it shows the tower you were in being destroyed and coming back to life and you start the game over again but harder... i also remember there is a boss that is just a massive octopus like maybe 6x5 squares or something like that and you literally have to kill a path to his face to kill him.. i also remember you can get keys to unlock doors and axes.. the axes when used anywhere in the game will destroy all adjacent walls so if you use it strategically you can skip large areas.

I remember in probably 2005(ish) there was a PC detective game. It wasn't online you had to download it. You played as a male detective in a mansion. You could only move in a room on certain tiles and I think the point was to retrieve a clue/item and then exit the room. The floor tiles might have been colored according to their danger. It was sort of like minesweeper where it would tell you how many tiles around it were dangerous (2, 1 etc.) Any help at all would be greatly appreciated! I really used to love this game but can't find it now.

Ah man. If someone on here can give me answers I would love them forever. Ok. As a child I remember getting PC gamer demos. On one of these said demo's was this epic Medieval fantasy RPG. You start in some sort of castle with 2 companions. I can't exactly remember what or who they were, but you could switch between them. The graphics were pretty good for its time. If it helps it was roughly early 2000's.

Ok guys,i have been searching for this game for so long now,and i now ran into this forum and i hope someone can help me.
Im preety sure it was a ps1 game,i really dont remember much,just that it was somehow tied to dreams or something like that,if i remember correctly it was some kind of little creatures that were doing something in dreams,i think the gameplay looked and felt kinnda like spyro.

And the other one is a game similar to klonoa in gameplay,some kind of fun,wierd looking sidescrolling game,i think you played as a wizard or something like that,if anyone can help it would be great!

Possible 40 winks? Its 3D platformy type game with creatures etc. And in the game your asleep and its all a dream.

hellow ppl. im so happy i found this kind of topic on the net. so one im searching for is nes platformer game . you were man with mustache ( lol how can i remember mustache but anyway ). and you were putting blocks on the way for you as a staircases or some platform to jump from, and at the end of the level you were fighting a boss, i remember first both was scary floating head. and you defeated a boss you would get i part of a picture and at the end of the game after defeating all the bosses you would get a complete picture from all parts you have collected so far. thanx in advance ^^

Ok... this is driving me INSANE. I've been looking for a couple hours and can't find it. I found someone ELSE looking for the game a year ago on Yahoo answers, but no one was ever able to tell them what it was.

It was a science/biology-type educational game for the PC. I think it was made 1995 - 2000. The main character was a red haired scientist in a lab coat who was balding on top. I think he had glasses too. The game was cartoon-y and light hearted, from what I remember.

According to the other person I saw searching for the game:

"The game had a lot of puzzles and scientific facts, but I remember little else.

The only lyric I remember to the song they sung was 'Biology, Biology, it's the study of you and me!' 'There was a 'hub' where you could select which section of the game you wanted to go into, I think there was also a physics section, where it gave you various physics puzzles to solve' "

Anyone know or have any guesses?

Hey guys i've been trying for years to remember what this was, i recently stumbled upon the title picture Another World/Out of this world, which was another title driving me crazy to know. Well this other game -images that have been haunting my head in curiosity ...all i can explain is it was an older game mayb 96-2000 but i remember seeing the "trailer" for it and the 3d cinematic depicted a young boy (medieval lookin setting) with his sword strapped to his left upper arm/shoulder and he encounters a fairy or something that in a female voice tell him that he will defeat an evil force and she teleports him somewhere and then i think it shows just clips and images of the game while she narrates.
If anyone can recall i'm dying to know been kinda hunting old games i remember as a kid and tryin to find em to play. Oh yeah if anyone can find pics of that cinematic it would really help. I'd say the 3D graphics were probably the same quality (maybe somewhat less) than that of that show reboot. (To clarify it didn't look like reboot, just similar rendering)

Hello guys. Recently I remembered a game that I used to play many years ago. A 2D scroller. It's a computer game in which you control a yellow egg with arms and legs. There were many different and colourful levels. I remember that there were treasure chests and eggs. I think that the goal of the game was to find all the eggs. There were aquatic levels, candy themed levels, others like a cave... I can't remember. There was a room with doors to access the levels; doors that were unlocked as long as many eggs you collected through the levels. Maybe there were no doors, but pipes, like the Mario ones. The cover was the main character on a skateboard that appeared in some levels.


EDIT: OMG!!! Suddenly I remebered the name of the egg!!! It was Speedy Eggbert!!! Writing this has awakened my almost death neurones! Thanks for... for helping me to awake my long-term memory.

hello everyone!

I can't for the life of me remember the name of a game i used to play, so i thougth let's try it here!
It is a turn based game, isometric view and somewhat old (i'd say it was made around maybe the year 2000.)
You did not build a base or anything, but you had a set number of units for each level.
You could "research" or upgrade your units to make them better in between the levels.
It was a fantasy like setting (so no future/sci-fi, or historical game)
There was a fog of war, you would only see enemy units that where in sight.
It wasn't a really well known game like heroes of might and magic or something like that.

The story was about an invasion or something like that, and i remeber that in the story the enemie could shape terrain to their will. This was present in gameplay in a way that the terrain always suited the enemies, for instance i remember a level where your units all had to cross a bridge, and behind that bridge where 2 plateaus with higher terrain.
Higher terrain gave you more range.

I would really appreciate any help!!!

Can someone remember this game? where you have to escape from a old castle and the boss is a giant brain?
You had to press arrow keys to move from room and avoid being killed by weird bat guy.
I think the main character was a pizza delivery boy.

Is it possible its Braindead 13? I remember having it on CD as a kid, but never played it due to the fact that it was REALLY fucking hard. I remember you being in a castle, and the title relates to brains. I think this guy used to kill you in horrific ways if you took the wrong turn ( e.g putting you in a blender etc. ) .
