Hi, I have been bashing my head in for the past 3 days to find out what was the name of a game I played on the ps2 around 12yrs ago. I'm sorry I can't remember much of the plot, only just bits and pieces.
There are 2 playable characters, a blonde man and black, short-haired woman.
It started with a plane crash and the man getting out of the plane before it falls over a cliff (i think, at this point i'm beginning to doubt my own memories). A few more scenes later when the woman is introduced, seemingly in another country, and has nothing to do with the man whatsoever, there is an interactive fight scene in her apartment.
After all this all I remember is the final boss being some kind of monster who had captured the woman and was swallowing her? ...sort of, and the man is fighting to free her in some kind of tower. I do also remember getting multiple endings as she can die and get a bad ending or save her and get a good ending. The good ending brings you the man going to see the woman in hospital and brings her a bouquet of flowers.
It's very similar to a resident evil or silent hill, similar graphics, setting etc.
If anyone has any idea what this game might be called please relieve me of my misery, thanks :)
"Broken Sword 3: The Sleeping Dragon" (2003). Hey, you're lucky, it's on sale too.
I wish this were it man, the game i'm talking about has much more recent graphics and as I said quite similar to something out of resident evil or silent hill. Also the characters never actually work together, you just play as both and thenly meet and you have to save her in the end. With regards to monsters all I can remember is the final boss vaguely as some gorey shit..
Ah, right, I misread the description of the woman having black short hair. But funny, how the beginning is quite similar.
Atm I can't think of a matching pair of protagonists but maybe someone else knows the game.

Hey guys,

I'm looking for a game I played when I was much younger, I believe it was mid '90s to late '90s. The game starts with a cartoonish animation, you see a castle with a redish-darkish sky and some sort of evil force heads to the castle. The hero is a stable boy or blacksmith, I can't really remember, but you start off in the castle's court with a sword and orcs are attacking you. Graphics are then 3D and, like Resident Evil, the points of view are fixed and change depending on the rooms you move to.

The action is slow-paced, the enemy tries to hit, you can move aside and try to hit back. I remember in the castle's court there was a staircase with an orc on top waiting to attack you. The characters are 3D but polygonal, kind of like in Final Fantasy 7 but the characters are taller. Again, like Resident Evil, you need to find objects to unlock certain places and progress through the game. I can't recall much else... hope you guys can help out!

Hello all! I need some help!
I can't find a game I was playing in the early 2000s. It was a PC game, I was playing it on Windows XP (but it might have been even older). It was a 2D point and click adventure game. It had a "noir" atmosphere, I think it was in black and white, gloomy and rainy, with jazz music playing. You were a detective, with a fedora probably but I am not sure about that, and you went around a city finding clues. I disctinctly remember a scene where he went down some stairs to a subway station where he found a piece of paper. Another scene was him going in an alley.
The whole interface was just the detective walking either left or right on a still screen which changed when you got to the side of the screen you had chosen.
I am sorry if it has been asked before, but I haven't found it in many days and I am going crazy!
Excuse my english too, they are not very good, but I have described it as well as I could...
Sounds like Blade Runner

Need some help remembering a game.
I fairly sure it was a game from a demo disk that I played on windows 95. maybe 98 but I think 95.
It was a side scroller horror fantasy type game. The options menu at the start was like a room that you were in and you pressed on a computer or phone or something to start. You play as a kid and you would have to fight these ghost type monster things that were completely black except for their eyes. I remember at the end of the demo level there was a cut scene where you were climbing up a wall or rock face and at the top you could see over to something.
Super vague I know but if anyone has any ideas?

The second game I remember some guy running towards some ancient building surrounded by tribal people. They throw spears or arrows from the left or right and you have to either duck or jump over them. If you make it far enough, you climb something.

EDIT: Both were from an old computer so I expect 80s or early 90s.
The second one should be Aztec Challenge [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TsT1Ib7XGws] (though my copy as a kid said "Aztec Runner" on the box). =)

I remember a game I played alongside Samurai Shodown II for a little bit. It was a side-scrolling PC game where your character was a guy wearing black stormtrooper-like armor, but with no helmet, had a sword and also guns and had to kill 2-legged walkers that looked like AT-STs but with a longer head like Alien Xenomorphs have. You had regular enemy guys to kill too (they had armor just like you did), not just the walkers. At the beginning of the level, you were dropped from a futuristic chopper in a dark urban looking area and just side scrolled killing enemies until the final. You had to climb buildings too.

The boss for the first level was a bigger walker, crouching and firing round plasma blasts at you, he occupied almost all the right side height & about 1 third of the length, you had to jump to avoid his blasts and fire at him or get close to slash with your sword.

I think your character was a cop actually, but I'm not sure. It was from the 90s, it required something like Pentium II to play. Resolution was something like 640x480. Maybe lower like Diablo 1's 320x240, but not sure. Looked from about the same year as Samurai Shodown II, which is from 94, so give or take a few.

EDIT: Following the Samurai Shodown II lead, I found Gunforce 2 (Metal Slug predecessor), which has at minute 7:44 here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L2KP4rjACXQ a model very similar to my mechs, they have the same art of the head, legs, how they land with the head down and rise it, alongside the joint movement. My game however was 100% on Windows, not only for consoles.
Found in the meantime, it was Zyclunt - Blade Warrior https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zh1MQ0yT94Q .

There was a game I played when I was really young on PC in the late 90?s where, I can?t remember if it was you or a grandmother, made a cake/pie and then like a monster would come steal and eat it from the windowsill? You?d also go outside and grow plants. Very vague description but I really want to find this game again haha

Hello,
I would like to ask if somebody here remembers this game. I used to play it on my PC around 2000, it was probably a Pokemon bootleg or a Pokemon-like game, maybe even a homebrew that my dad got me off the Internet. But it was created for a PC or a similar gaming console, definitely wasnt a handheld console port.
In the game you controlled a character that walked around in a maze-y environment. I remember I had the demo version and there was only one "level", where the character only walked around in a forest. It was 3D-ish, you watched the person from above, but it was quite tilted..I remember the environment being quite dark. I dont remember much of any narrative, I think you just walked around and then a monster attacked you and you battled with it, occasionally you could catch it. After some time you got to another level.
The monsters were like Pokemon-like sprites, but you could only catch like 5 or 6 of them, then you had to let one go in order to catch a new one. I remember that there was a cloudy-like pokemon sprite, that had a lot of Fs in the name...and maybe even a raindrop pokemon-like figure?
I even remember reading a review of the game online when I was like 15 and I remember I was laughing, remembering that I played it and it was pretty awkward. In that review, they said that the game had all of the sprites originally created, that it "cutely resembled Pokemon"...cannot find it anymore, now all the available pokemon games are new ones or ones for emulators, which I like as well, but it is not what I am looking for.

And I have one more game that I would like to find the name for. Again I played it as a kid in, I would say, 1999. I remember it was a psychedelic surreal dreamlike game. It was in 3D. Everything was happening "at night", and the player could choose what they wanted to do next, usually out of one or two options - usually just by walking somewhere off the screen, for example if you walked to the left, you saw a maze, if you kept walkiing straight, you saw a giant cat... I remember there were kids, a boy and a girl, a giant cat that the kids climbed on and watched the stars or something, I remember you had to avoid the giant cats paws, I also remember that at the beginning there was a boy sleeping in a yellow house and there was a dog protecting the house - all the game was probably happening in a dream. I was small, I couldnt speak English back then, so I dont really know what was going on. The game was weirdly disturbing, sad, really weird.

Thank you very much for helping me!

Ok, this should be easy for someone who love play futuristic fantasy games. This game is probably from 2001 maybe 2000. It is 3d platform game with futuristic and fantasy elements(special powers and weapons). The player is blonde man in some like space suit. I rememeber, maybe the first level, that you are in some tech-facility or laboratory. The next level that I rememeber is that you are on the street and there are some boys with (baseball)bats. You must defeat them to open the bridge(maybe there is one more guy who open for you bridge). On the other side of the bridge it's like some temple or tomb. There is a girl that will give you some special powers. Next, you enter in that 'temple' and there is woman who says:"I'm calling security", then you go through the next door and there are some kind of giants. I played a demo version.

Thank you.

Hello,

I have been trying to figure out the name of a game I played back in the early 2000's. It was only a PC game best I can remember and had a free download, so you could play offline. The details are foggy, but I know it was a bottom up shooting game where you progressed further through the level. You could collect guns and I remember there being like a chicken gun and possibly a plasma gun. You would take out bosses and generally had to use special guns to defeat the boss. You were limited with boundaries on each side and the game scrolled forward. I believe the game had similar play to 'nuclear throne' mixed with '1942'. It was a cartoon game that had similar graphics to 'Clicker Heroes' as well, and I want to say that it had the word 'Kingdom' in the title, but I could be completely wrong. This has been bugging me for years now with nothing popping up from googling.

Thanks in advanced.

Ok, I've got one I can't figure out.

This was a Windows 95 PC game I remember playing as a kid on my dad's IBM laptop. It was a very comical game that was comprised of several smaller mini games. Each game featured the same 2 middle-aged guys in suits. In one mini game, you would take turns beating each other up in creative ways (i.e., cannon to the face, popping eyes out, stick in the mouth, etc.). It wasn't gory or bloody or anything like that, just animated like a cartoon. Another game was basically a skeet shooting game where one of the 2 guys would shoot a cannon at images of the other guy's head that fly through the air at increasing speeds. Another minigame was a baseball game where one of the guys was the batter. There were a couple other mini games but can't remember them all. Any ideas???
Bumped =) Additional info: this game was played exclusively on an old IBM ThinkPad, so could be unique to that platform.
