The original King's Quest. From 1984. And not the remake or the new edition, the old one. Take that, graphics!

Now that's commendable. I remember trying to do a marathon of I-VI, only to realize that by doing so I would have destroyed my brain from trying to solve all of those extremely picky puzzles. You had to stand right here , be facing this specific way, and use the right item within a limited time range...and if you're playing the older games, where your actions are dependent on the command you type into the prompt, then, damn, had you better know plenty of ways to say 'shoot the horse'.

The oldest game I still regularly play is the NES Dr Mario and Tetris games.
