I realize that this is a bit of a touchy topic, as nobody likes discussing their weight; but I was wondering if there were any success stories in the house?

I guess I have a bit of a success story, long story short I was fairly heavy and now I'm significantly less fat.

Anyhoo, cure my boredom and entertain me!

Well, I unintentionally lost 20 pounds last summer, if that counts.

I'm still trying to gain it back. >_>

Good for you!

Once i get a car i will be able to go work out more and speed up my weight loss.
Im not fat but i am a little over weight.

15-20 pounds would be the perfect amount for me to loose

Back when I was in insanity good shape, I was 130 pounds, almost no fat on me, and running2 miles in about 9 min. Then I moved out, ate out a lot, and went up to 200. over the course of 2 years(mind you my ideal weight should be around 140-150). But over the last 3 months I have started running, watching what I eat and working out more and have lost about 30 pounds(I'm around 170) and hope to be back at 150 by the end of the summer. Main reason why I started working out is I needed a way to vent after my ex dumped me, and hell it's worked great so far.

Never really been fat before but from the age of 8-12 I was fairly chubby.

But I just kinda grew out of it somehow when I turned 13. Now I fit into a women's size 4.

I used to be pretty overwieght a few years ago. Then I went outside more and became a bit more active. Now I lost a lot of weight and I am more fit. I can do better, and it continuously gets better.

EAT LESS = LOSE WEIGHT

The ultimate method. You gained weight? You've been eating too much you fat bastard, eat less. Now you is good.

Honestly, skinny chicks scare the fuck out of me. Therefore, why would I wanna be skinny? I has some motherfucking curves, and all the females who think skinny is good need to gain some fucking weight.

And men? Stop calling women who don't waddle when they walk (this is literally my definition of being a fatass) "fat". All you are doing is making sure girls are fucking toothpicks. So not sexy.

In short, I love my shape. Fuck the ideal of super-skinny models. Seriously, I don't even get turned on by those aliens.

I weighed 130 pounds since I was 14 or so, I'm 22 now and I've only put on a little bit more since then.
I'm 5'9 and people are always nagging at me to eat.

I've lost 10 pounds over the past 6 months.

Not sure how though, as I appear to have begun putting on "Adult Bulk."

I was a fatass my entire life, then a year or two ago I started skateboarding. Lost 50 pounds in the first six months, including the amount of muscle I gained (don't ask me how. I seriously don't know, but there's no way I had this just hiding under there the whole time. Even my upper body is actually stronger than it used to be) . I've given it up for now because it's so damn hot in the day and there's nowhere to legally skate at night, but I've taken up weightlifting and running.

Success? I'm still the same kinda awkward person I was before and I still feel like I'm fat even though people keep telling me otherwise. I actually compared my brand new ID to my drivers license from two years ago the other day and got really creeped out. It's obvious that I've lost a TON of fat and am in way better shape physically, but when I look in the mirror I see the same guy that I've always been.

I get the same thing, sometimes I think that being skinny for a dude is considered as socially unacceptable as being fat. At least, I've never heard someone say "Put that fork down, fatty!" to someone's face.

You're right.
I'd never say anything like that but when they say "You look Ill, you should eat something" it gets me pretty annoyed.
I'm happy with my body.

Yep, these last couple months I've been working really hard to lose weight. I mean, I've never been overweight or anything, just always had this pesky bit of belly fat I could never get rid of. But, I've been exercising every day, and eating a lot better than I used to, and it's really made a difference.

You know, when I came to Australia to study four months ago, everyone was telling me how much weight I was going to put on. I've LOST so much weight it scares me. Hell, I'm underweight now and no amount of food seems to be putting my lost weight back on.

That sounds like a parasite, my friend. Specifically a tapeworm, I'd get that checked out.

How do you know that?

OT: I used to be a bit husky, but I just ate less sugar and now I'm fine. Not an exciting story, but there you go.
