ONE character that you would love to be in the next Super Smash Bros.

They already got Metaknight, and he's also now my best character. They even went into bizarre and nigh-unplayable territory with the Pokemon Trainer... what other mad dreams do I have that Nintendo hasn't already let me indulge in?

I guess Geno would be a cool addition. But... does there really need to be[/I] another Smash Bros.?

Lloyd Irving from Tales of Symphonia.

I remember during all the Brawl hype my friends and I were creating movesets for characters we really wanted. For Lloyd, I had:

B: Demon Fang
Up B: Tempest or Rising Falcon (I was a fan of Tempest, my friend Rising Falcon)
Over B: Sonic Thrust or Sword Rain
Down B: Guardian.

He's my most desired, hands down.

The Scout - Team Fortress 2.

His double jump could be a downward shot with the force of nature, his melee attacks could be the bat, typical b attacks could be the scatter gun, running with b could be the pistol, his grab could be the same headlock he used on the heavy during his "meet the" video. His final smash could even be a scout rush, or maybe a random drink of his that'll up one of his stats.

His creator's friends with Hideo Kojima, he has throwing moves, he's wacky and comical, how would he not fit? If Snake can do it, so could this fuckhead.

My vote goes to Grovyle from Pokemon Mystery Dungeon.
Final smash: Dimensional rift: Forms a dimensional rift behind the closest enemy player, Grovyle tackles them in, sealing the portal behind them and killing them both, also releases an explosion that deals damage to nearby players.

Duke Nukem,seriously why not?
because the blood the tits the swearing, and the guns would all have to be gone is why. i mean he is awesome but this is family friendly nintendo here

Sora from kingdom hearts would be my pick. I think he could fit in quite nicely. his final smash would be drive mode and he can run around whacking shit for a little bit.

And his Final Smash would be Divine Judgement/ Falcon Crest!
Definitely my number one choice, though Travis Touchdown would also rock hard.

Bomberman would be refreshing.
His Final Smash could make it rain giant bombs or give him some sort of bomb-throwing haste to make him some sort of speed freak with explosives.

Zero would be nice.

A question on Zero, in that Megaman Zero series, doesn't he beat X? Conceivably the most powerful being in the Megaman series? I played the first two but I can't for the life of me remember.

Sounds good. I think that's what we decided on anyway! This needs to happen.

Yes and no. He destroys the fake X in the first game. After that, the data-spirit-thing-version of the REAL X helps him up until the end of Zero 3. After that, it's all about the creator of the Dark Elf.

He's only appeared in one game, not counting the remake of River City Ransom. But he would certainly be a distinctive addition to Super Smash Bros. I've felt that after the first game, the new characters mostly felt like they were filling gaps in the list, rather than expanding into new territory.

I said mostly, please don't point out the counterexamples that I already know about.
He was EVERY character in Nintendo World Cup.

I'd like to see Bomberman, and the return of Mewtwo.

Fawful. Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga.

Final Smash: It is the OVERHEAT, Bowletta comes out of his helmet, and breathes fire, shoots lasers and swings arms instead of his normal Special attacks.
