ONE character that you would love to be in the next Super Smash Bros.

Final Smash: It is the OVERHEAT, Bowletta comes out of his helmet, and breathes fire, shoots lasers and swings arms instead of his normal Special attacks.

And he'd yell "I HAVE FURY!!!" whenever he's about to use it!

OT: On top of all characters returning (including those who were cut last time), I have a long list of characters I'd like to see in the next potential installment. Unfortunately, you only want one. so... Um... from the list of 20 or so... I'd say... I'd like to see Siegfried/Nightmare from Soul Calibur.

Lloyd (The Legend of Dragoon)
Specialty: Being disgustingly fast and agile (entire skillset based on dodge->Counterattack sorta deal)
Smashes: The man has a sword. And Wingly magic. He'd probably combine them.
Final Smash: Impaling the unfortunate sod on the Dragon Buster.

They're identical. Brawl just replaced Mewtwo with Lucario, on the basis of getting a pokemon their target audience would recognise.

Meat Boy. A special feature with him could be that, for every percent of damage knocked off, he just sprays juices and the occasional gristly lump all over the place.

Final Smash: Stage Conversion. Transform the stage into what it might look like as a stage in Meat Boy. With all that that implies. That fluffy pink number's looking a leeeeeeeettle flimsy now, isn't it Peach?

Funky Kong. His final smash would be him flying around in his barrel jet plane thing, kinda like how Super Sonic works.

Doesn't mean you can't have both. Just change up Mewtwo's moveset. Hell, if you look at actual moves he can do in his own game, there is a MASSIVE list for the SSB-team to work with if they had any clue how to make decent characters instead of clones, pseudo-clones, and replacements.

Lloyd Irving from Tales of Symphonia.

I remember during all the Brawl hype my friends and I were creating movesets for characters we really wanted. For Lloyd, I had:

B: Demon Fang
Up B: Tempest or Rising Falcon (I was a fan of Tempest, my friend Rising Falcon)
Over B: Sonic Thrust or Sword Rain
Down B: Guardian.

He's my most desired, hands down.

Aren't those the exact button combos for those moves in Symphonia anyways? Not that I don't approve, Lloyd would be a really cool addition as either a fighter or a Trophy.

You should try Brawl Minus' mechanics (a Brawl Hack). It is kind of like a smattering of Melee and Brawl and is vastly superior to both games.

My god every post on here is lame. Sony and Microsoft characters galore... obscure supporting characters from one game back in the 80s. We all know Sonic and Snake really shouldn't have been included, lets not pry that non-Nintendo character door any more open OK?

I'll give you two (justification below).

Isaac - Golden Sun (as a full character; not just some silly trophy attack)
Really. Psyenergy is just perfect for a fighting game. I'd play a Smash Bros Style game if it featured just the Golden Sun characters.

Zero - Mega Man X (looking forward to playing as him in MvC3, but he would fit in nicely in a Smash Bros Title. While Capcom could license Zero however they want, it would create a conflict of interest, so this is purely me fantasizing)

This. Isaac is great, but wouldnt felix be that much more badass?

Good point. As much as I like SSB, they are a little clone-happy.

Now, if only they could have a bunch of strange/unique playstyles for each character like Hisoutensoku does...

I was just about to say this, actually. I want a Ganondorf that doesn't suck!

Beyond that, I'd love to see Ratchet (and Clank, duh), from the series of the same name.
Final Smash: the RYNO. 'Cause, you know, he'd Rip Ya a New One.

Or Auron from FFX. His Final Smash could be a random choice between his Overdrives: a flaming Tornado (like Entei or HoHo's Poke-attack), Shooting Star (insta-kill, like Marth's?), or the other two sword swings (for high damage against a single target).

And the idea of a random Final Smash reminds of a certain other Final Fantasy character: Gilgamesh! Excalibur/Excalipoor anyone?

(...so they're not from Nintendo; who cares? This is purely hypothetical anyway.)
