It's pretty good, I've started buying indie games on it because I really do enjoy playing stuff like that on the go, I think it sets a pretty good precedent, and I love how the Switch is proving to be a place for games to thrive where they otherwise would've gotten buried on Steam, and I'm salivating in the corner while I wait for Dark Souls to show up.
Honestly it's one of my favorite consoles, it just has three problems I'd like to see fixed.
#1: Better sales. Granted I am seeing a 75% off pop up here and there (for Oxenfree, which was actually a decent game, so I'm glad to see that on the best sellers list) so I guess they're hopping in that direction, but since it feels like the Switch is slowly becoming an alternative for indie games, I think better sales might help that along.
#2: Virtual console. There are so many Nintendo games I have wanted all my life to play mobile. Super Metroid being one and while that's on New 3DS, I'm only buying one of those if my 3DS craps the bed (not impossible but I'd rather not) there's plenty of other games I'd have a massive fucking nerdgasm if I ever saw, like Super Mario RPG, Link to the Past, Donkey Kong Country, and everything thing else that was on that Super SNES that no one could FUCKING GET! So please Nintendo, as someone who grew up on the NES and SNES. Release those games for the Switch. (Also make your pricing a little reasonable, you've got two or three NES games on the E-Market but eight dollars is a bit much. I think five would be more reasonable, maybe eight for SNES?)
#3: Less people downplaying or denying the Switch's flaws when someone brings them up. You all know what I'm talking about, it's a lot easier to enjoy something when you don't have to deal with this.
