I dunno if you use the D-pad on the 360 much but it is kind of inaccurate when you're going for 90 degree moments. It'll make a big difference.

Bleh, it's exactly the same controller really.

$69.95.

Wut.

It's even got less colours in it!

Yeah, a disc for a D-pad is a very important thing for some genres, specifically fighting games. It'll make some things much easier. So that's pretty awesome, actually.

So...it's shiny and their solution to the crappy D-pad was to sink the circular base about a few millimeters down...weak design is weak. I bet anything that the D-pad will still be utter shit for fighters as changing the exterior design is not enough to remedy the problem, it only makes it slightly less annoying. The problem lies underneath and if they haven't fixed that then it's not worth it.

Hardly a 'new' controller. But who knows, I could be wrong, it better be more than just some superfluous exterior change is all I'm saying.

What's the advantage of having it in a disc form? I never understood that. It just makes it really clunky and inaccurate. Why not always have it as a plus, or even better yet: Why not have it as a plus that's broken into 4 parts, like the one from the Playstation controller?

I don't play fighting games often, so I think I'll be keeping my $65 and my much more colorful Controller.

This is the controller I will be looking for getting a general new xbox. As Razer usually do good shit. This new xbox controller doesn't look like it will do much. While we're on the topic does anyone know any good arcade controllers for the 360?

I think they should just sink the d-pad into the controller, like on the Dualshock. I've never had any issues with the dualshock, but I do hate the really loose feel of the XBox 360's d-pad. It just sticks out and it's so fumbly that all hail the mouse and keyboard it's a good thing it's not really used much for the games I play.

Unfortunately, I kinda need my buttons colored.

Even more unfortunately, it's stupid expensive.

Looks stylish tough.
