This finally proves how little it takes to keep you all on Xbox's leash.

They raise the price of an old subscription with no new content? Barely anybody cares.
They release a controller with a slightly different color scheme for twice the price? You all pre-order it right away.

Seriously, do you all even think for yourselves anymore?

Looks like a tiny, tiny difference. Who plays fighting games anyway? Is it 1995 again?

Considering that all the Xboxing I do is on my housemate's Xbox, I'll give this a miss. He's a hopeless fanboy when it comes to the Xbox (unfortunately. But then again, I'm a recovered Playstation fanboy and on of the other housemates is dedicated to upgrading his pc, so we're a nerdy bunch. Although, the fourth one is a girl, such peculiar creatures) so I guess he'll buy a couple despite already owning four normal ones.

What's the advantage of having it in a disc form? I never understood that. It just makes it really clunky and inaccurate. Why not always have it as a plus, or even better yet: Why not have it as a plus that's broken into 4 parts, like the one from the Playstation controller?
Disk form allows you to have 9 point directional selection easier than the plus form (especially when broken up into 4 parts like the PS3 controller).
Yeah, makes sense I guess but then again I never had a problem with that on the PS D-pad. Only weakness of the PS D-pad is that it hurts your thumb when you make too many spin movements. I'll still take it for accuracy.

While I don't really care too much about the new control pad, I'm sure it'll help some. But the grey-scale buttons actually caught my eye, since when I first looked at the controller I thought the video was in black and white. I like it :3

They can't do the plus cause Nintendo has that patented and i can only assume that Sony has there D-pad patented also, so having the disc is a good way for microsoft to not infringe on nintendo and still have an awesome plus shape D-pad
