The ones in game are confirmed to have stats on them. This doesn't mean that ALL red sabers are +atk and ALL blue sabers are +def or anything like that. It just means that if you like orange blades, but you find a purple one with more attack that you need, you'll have to switch to purple until you find a better orange. My guess is that this pre-order bonus bypasses that by allowing you to pick the color of your saber regardless of crystal (or the color of your blaster bolt for guns).Oroboros said:Well, it didn't work that way in Kotor. Color and Effect were independent of one another, with the exception of two color crystals you can get, one for orange, the other silver. There isn't much reason to expect these crystals to effect stats in any way considering this, although it is day 1 DLC, so it isn't out of the question.rsvp42 said:In the case of lightsabers, colored stones have stats attached to them. So you can have the color you want or the stats you want, but not always both. I think the same goes for blasters. This could be a way to avoid that concern or to be able to choose colors before you find the proper crystal in game.
This is my understanding based on information revealed so far.
