We don't see homosexual couplings in nature, no. With animals, perhaps, but not humans. Humans are outside of the conventional definition of "nature". We're not talking "nature = natural" here, we're talking "nature = not influenced by man".

As for my "design" argument, I had none. I deliberately wrote "designed/evolved" to encompass the majority of views and beliefs. Because either way, the point remains consistent; it is not man's intended purpose. And before you go picking apart my word choice with "purpose", know that no words I could think of capture my exact meaning here. One of the obstacles to communication that language presents, I guess. But "purpose" is close enough.
Man doesn't have an objective purpose.

Sure, you can have a viewpoint as to what humanity should do, but that's just your subjective opinion on what should be done. In my view, to argue that there is some sort of intention is to argue that there is some sort of God that wants humans to act in such a way. You could argue that science and evolution support such purposes of humanity (procreate, pass on genes), but evolution doesn't want us to do that, it doesn't have wants. And even if evolution somehow had interests or desires for humanity's purpose, what would make such interests objectively true? In fact, the same could be said for a God of some sort.

And even if we were to argue over what man's true purpose is (which is subjective anyway), a "procreation" purpose hasn't even served our species well.Look at how overpopulated our planet is.

Wait, what? By that definition, nothing that humans do is natural, and it would be just as true to say that heterosexual couplings don't exist in nature.

Lol, I see you made a new account to prevent getting hated for that, but honestly I kinda agree about people hating on religions. I can agree with them to a degree, I hate that so many religions are about love and peace and things, but then discriminate certain groups to the point of hate, it just seems stupid to me. But I'm not going to hate people for thinking like that.... hell, if you look at my earlier post, I used to be like that to a point. I think everyone can believe whatever they want, I'd just rather they didn't try to push their beliefs in people faces, just like I wont go crazy at them for thinking being gay is wrong.
@AnkaraTheFallen Actually, I literally just made this account. I didn't like the fact I only came here to watch Zero Punctuation so I decided to make a account to browse around the forums a bit. Although I am glad there's someone around here with like terms. ^^
