You will often hear people refer to kissing as "oral sex", but what if it was not consented by both sides? Could kissing someone without their permission be considered oral rape? Could CPR be considered oral rape as well then? If someone is kissed on the mouth but is a virgin, does that mean that they aren't a virgin anymore?

Please discuss as I am rather confused...

Edit: Ok, I know what oral sex is now... Thanks google for taking my innocence once again... D=

I thought this was about actually forcing someone to perform fellatio or something.
On topic though, I have never heard anyone refer to kissing as oral sex.
Ever.

It could probably be called sexual harassment though.

I've never heard anyone refer to kissing as oral sex. Oral sex is something quite altogether different.

Oral sex isn't kissing. Google define it.

Virginity isn't to do with kissing, so, no, they are still a virgin.
CPR is life saving and if you complain you don't deserve it.

I would really recommend changing your wording here, because "oral rape" brings a completely different image to mind.

Oral sex is a misnomer, it's more like oral masturbation. Kissing someone without their permission could be sexual assault, except in cases of CPR, for frankly obvious reasons. There's no such thing as "Oral virginity", that's just silly.

Edit: oh wow, I misread the OP. No, I don't think kissing has ever been referred to as "oral sex"

The people you have been hearing are wrong, or you are misunderstanding what they are using their mouths for.

The answer is no to all of them.

I imagine this confusion could proved some rather awkward conversations and circumstances, don't you?

Oral sex is not kissing. It's fellatio. But it is an interesting question as to whether or not forcing a kiss would be rape, since someone would be, in theory, penetrating someone with their tongue against their will.

Hmm oral rape ... seems possible but there's one way to make them pull out.

Bite down hard.

I wouldn't consider kissing to be called oral sex though, with tounges maybe shouldn't be a public thing but I won't go as fas as to say it's on par with actual oral sex.

Pretty much this.
Someone's going to be pleasantly surprised some day.

Never heard kissing referred to as oral sex. Are you a troll, or just a really innocent child?

... Who in the flying fuck referred to kissing as oral sex?

Oral sex is... er... I can't exactly explain it here, can I?

Just Google it...

So no, kissing without permission, though it can be considered sexual assault, is definitely NOT oral rape, nor is kissing a way to lose your virginity.

Yes, you are. As mentioned by many others, kissing is not what people mean by oral sex.

Oral sex is when either an individual (male or female) does one of the following two things:

When an individual takes a man's penis in his or her mouth and uses lips and tongue to stimulate the man.

Or when an individual uses their tongue to stimulate a female's clitoris and labia.

Kissing with tongue is "french kissing" and sometimes called first base. Oral sex is usually considered third base.

Edit: Also, OT, oral rape is very possible. Both giving and receiving.

Kissing is not oral sex. And I don't think forcing someone to kiss you is considered any form of rape (although I would say it is "just" a less severe variant). As far as I'm concerned, you are a virgin until you had sexual intercourse, so real oral sex (i.e. fellatio/cunnilingus) doesn't "count" either. I also doubt that there is technically such a thing as "oral rape" (that's probably "assault" or something), but we all know what it means (well, except the OP), and it seems totally possible to force someone into oral sex.

Maybe he's neither. Maybe he's just misinformed, or doesn't have that much first hand knowledge about sexual encounters. There is nothing wrong with that.
