Jaffe's version sounds really good but I am not saying no to Cory's Kratos VS Odin matchup. You know what, they are both good ideas, somebody make a script!

Combine Barlog's idea with Jaffe's idea.

Kratos becomes the living semi-immortal (it's incredibly difficult to kill him, but he can die, and just fight his way out of death) emodiment of death, and then goes on to other mythologies, killing every other god/goddess in existance.

It would be nothing short of wonderful to be able to Skullfuck Thor to death. I mean, lets face it, this is Kratos here.

I like Carl's ending of Kratos basically becoming Death the best from a story standpoint. It makes sense afterall, Kratos basically is a walking death machine.

Though I'd be lieing if I said that Jaffe's idea wasn't superbly kick ass, if predictable anyway.

I think Cory's idea is the best! Death is one of my favorite aspects in Greek Mythology and I'd love to see Kratos with two sickles. It'd be cool if he would, somehow, wear a black robe, like the grim reaper and fuse with my idea, that I have for God of War III. I think my story is BETTER than the actual game. I at least managed to get it a co-op mode ^^. And a different boss fight with Cronus in which he would get that sickle to become death. I think I'll post my story here or somewhere else

I still do think that if they went for any of these ideas instead of Stig's version, we would be raging just as much over why the series didn't stay 100% greek mythology. People enjoy speculating in "what if scenarios" after all.

I still like the idea of him killing of all mythologies. Jaffe even went as far as saying in an interview with Gametrailers that his preferred ending of GOW III would be the rise of the religious movement that would eventually lead to Judaism, Christianity and Islam. People need to be believe in something right?

If Santa Monica is using these ideas for yet another sequel, I won't mind there being a GOW IV.
